@@omfg322 I've been a fan since they first started at the rink on Renfrew. Yes, there have been hard times. Some sports hearts were broken. But we have a solid opportunity ahead of us and for that we should all feel positive. Let's hope we have a bit of luck as well 🤞

DeBrusk looked good with him. On paper, Petey is finally getting a top 6 winger with a resume of consistency and solid 2-way player. Doesn't hurt he led the Bruins in post-season scoring this season. Compared to Mikheyev who was forced into a top 6 role and Kuzmenko was a one-hit wonder on a team coached by Boudreau with no structure. Add in the mental aspect where Petey had a poor post-season, his high self-awareness to be better and all signs point to Pettersson having a career year.

I hope the media will tone it down a bit this year and remember hockey players are people too. With the tragic news of the Gaudreau brothers and Joshuas situation, the media needs to step back and realize these player are humans just like me and you and to treat them with dignity and respect.
You’d think they will, but i doubt it. Give it 20 games, they’ll forget all about it and be back to their ways.
Petey also needs to get thicker skin and not let questions emotionally effect him. He is too uptight and is always on his heels waiting to defend himself from criticism. His response to Farhan is a clear example

Loui Eriksson’s number one problem was his age. If he was signed to a 2 year deal at 1.25 million he wouldn’t live in infamy in Vancouver.
