This explanation is not 100% correct.... When a wind gradient is encountered during a strong wind landing, the glider will sink strongly, which means that the airflow during the sink will mainly come from below, so the resistance on the glider will increase, this will result in a leaning back rather than pitch forward of the glider. At this point, the angle of attack of the glider is in a very dangerous area
