Thanks everybody for watching I hope you enjoyed and learned something new! Let me know if you need anything further explained or if there are any tips or tricks I left out :)
The 3:43 it took to tell not to worry about the divination rod would have been enough time to explain it. Not trying to hate but maybe you can compact your videos by focusing more on the important parts and don't repeat yourself so often.
Thanks for the guide, but tbh ingame book is very informative, so I never had issues building my setups. I came here only to ask about mercury crystals - I mean a pack of 4 mercury shards combined. I use auto-crafters to make them and them use them as fuel for catalysts. But I feel like they are not providing more energy to catalysts and it feels like a waste. No exact numbers on power/heat provided by these, so I cannot compare. Also, just a couple advises: 1. You never needed complicated machinery to automate Fermentation and Digestion vats. All you needed is 1 redstone comparator and two redstone for each. You can find red dot at the bottom of these blocks. It emits redstone signal when there are enough materials for recipe inserted. Comparator inverts said signal from red dot and closes the lid to start crafting. But that was when I started playing it at June this year. After last update, you dont need even comparator. Lid closes automatically now. You only need to provide redstone signal to the side now. 2. You are NOT forced to use mercurial item inserters/extractors. All can be done using pipez - they are more convenient and faster with easier filters. Just check different sides of machines when you attach pipez. For an instance majority of machines there only allow output from the bottom.
best way to think about it (i think) is the following: every item has an inherent value, some, like nether stars, are worth more, and some, like diamonds are worth less nether stars' value is 64x of the value of diamonds (so you need 64 diamonds in order to get a nether star). it is an equivalent exchange of goods, kinda like shopping. the thing is, some shops only accept certain types of currency, diamonds are minerals while nether stars are mob drops, so before exchanging the diamonds for the nether stars, you need to convert them into the proper currency
Thank you for this, I needed an overview of this mod to understand. I appreciate the way you had all the sections planned out going from start to finish. Wanted to play around with this and Create for the rustic vibes ha.
Glad it was helpful! I kept wanting to try the mod in the ATM series but it seemed a bit complicated and when I searched for a tutorial I didn't really find any so I figured why not.
Yeah don't worry I was having trouble following myself/the mod as I was explaining and even editing it lol. There's a lot to this mod and some aspects look similar to others. Perhaps an updated/refined tutorial might be needed.
@@MrPorkerson I'm trying to get it going in craftoria currently. It's definitely confusing that they don't have any simple example setups or even pictures in the "book". They explain in words and it almost sounds like they're talking in circles lol. The only way this makes sense is to think of mercury as RF type power, and all the other things as machines in a tech mod
Seems like the Alchemical Tome but needlessly complicated. I wonder if there's any efficient conversions, or if it's strictly to make something useful out of the glut of excess materials you get, eg turning all the copper you ever get and converting it into netherstars at an insanely high conversion rate.
Hi, my Mercury Catalyst just does not show that red power bar... I fill it with shards and crystals but nothing happens and because of this I can not turn one sulfur into another as you did with diamonds and emeralds...
Bro don't get me wrong this is great information but throughout the entire introduction I still don't know what the hell the mod is for and how it works. Explaining the upgrading of arbitrary alchemical resources means nothing if I don't know what that's for. I mean in guessing it's for ore duplication but it could be for ore farming but I have no idea because I'm still listening about how you can upgrade and downgrade the stuff.
Sorry I'm just now seeing this. Perhaps an update to the modpack would help/ a full uninstall reinstall of the pack. I haven't had any crashing myself so I'm not quite sure

this video drove me nuts but i can't complain because its the only video out there that explains it.

having trouble following you on this one. lots of jumping around. still the best tutorial available right now though

Thanks for this! Once i got how it works this is giving some project E vibes which is pretty cool, though a bit more complicated to get working
Agreed I like the mechanics of it though automating is a bit clunky right now

Finding amethyst is much easier with ars nouveau as you can get it starting the mod.
I wish we had timestamps so i can find exactly what i'm looking for quickly!
What is the headsup display mod called here? I'm using the one probe, but it doesn't display :/
Please add time stamps to the video for easier navigation and quick reference
Doesn't this mod remind you a little of the old Roots mod?
Does this mod let u make items from other mods?
honestly.. I dont get the point. Seems like a lot of work for little reward.
Bro i have a 4070 and a i7 and i allocate 19 gb of ram and the game crashes on making a world can you help? I've tried a lot but nothing is working

@MrPorkerson thanks! I'll try
That’s waaaaay too much ram. Try like 10 max. Too much can be as problematic as too little.
