This is my best attempt at explaining the entire process of transforming items into other, more rare items with the Theurgy mod. How'd I do? I hope you enjoy and have a great day!
I saw someone dk an hour long video on this. 20 minutes in and I still had no idea what the mod exactly did. This was less time than his introduction and I understand exactly what's going on. Filling in the details with JEI is all that's left and that's easy. Thank you for this video
I think I watched that video. :) I'm pretty tired of sitting through 30-40 minute videos myself. Direct and to the point is what I'm going for. thanks for watching!
I have not played or seen much from this mod pack, Yet this is the best THEURGY video I can find. As op as it can be I can't find any direct HOWTO vids. Thanks so much.
Thanks! My goal was to make these how-to videos modpack agnostic. Theurgy's OPness is pretty balanced by how slow it is, and to fully automate any one output, it's pretty involved. When I need something, like copper to do MI, I just set up the whole thing to produce a ton of it and let it go while I'm doing other stuff. And then I have a few thousand copper ingots. Thanks for watching!
I had disregarded Theurgy so far but now it's on my list to look at. It reminds me of Alchemistry but with fewer elements and more complex machinery. If I recall that mod correctly a stack of logs would convert to enough carbon to made one diamond.
@@jangrogames MineChem was a tech mod from many years ago that I never played with and Alchemistry is a remake/update of it. I played with it briefly in 1.12.2 and went more in depth in 1.19.2 and 1.20.1.
I don't know if you have tried this yet but I can't seem to transform any niter into rare mob drop niter. The recipe in EMI doesn't seem to work and it also displays two different values for the amount of rare gem niter you need. I don't really know where else to look for help since I personally cannot find anything about this. If you have any idea let me know thanks!
@@jangrogames Thank you! I have been following along with your series in a server my friends and I started and I do really appreciate your approach towards teaching these mods. I personally have never used these and because of you I am honestly addicted to them right now. Huge props to you!
Hey that's great to hear, thank you! I did just successfully make a rare mob drop from rare gem niters. Maybe you are reading the recipe incorrectly. It requires 8 Reformation Source Pedestals, each with two rare gem niters in them, for a total of 16 rare gem niters. This is what the recipe is trying to tell you, which is definitely a bit confusing. I'll post a picture of my setup in my discord in the #minecraft-talk channel if you want to see it. discord.gg/jangro
Hey. Are you running curseforge with overwolf? if so, uninstall that and use curseforge standalone (it's one of the download options) or try prism. There's apparently an issue with overwolf curseforge. I don't think it's probably relevant, but here are my PC specs jangro.com/2024/07/26/what-are-the-best-pc-specs-for-modded-minecraft-in-2024/#my-personal-pc-specs

This is such a cool mod, thank you for these guides!
I'm glad you like it! It's such a fun mod. Thanks for watching!

I'm not familiar with Alchemstry, but it sounds similar. A diamond takes more like 8 stack of logs in this, I think.

I can look tomorrow. But there aren’t direct paths to all niters from others. Can you make common niters and upgrade them?
@@jangrogames I can do that didnt really think of that thanks. EMI says rare gems so that's what I have been using and no luck.
@@christopheresquibel6433 I’ll give that a try tomorrow
