Drop a airstone in the water and you'll get even bigger root systems in the same time frame. Mine go all the way down the bottom of the bottle, then I plant them. Still Awesome video, thanks for sharing👍🧄👍
Thats great planting! however i saw in another blog that when garlic bulb is transplanted should be 4 to 6 inches apart within a pot to give way to its growth specially when the bulb multiplies underneath.
I don't mean to be contrary, but what is the point of doing this? It looks like a tonne of extra work, extra not needed steps, in growing garlic. I watched it through incase the point was to grow them maybe hydroponically all the way through, but no you planted them in dirt at the end anyway. For anyone interested in growing garlic, you do not need all these steps. Just get a nice fresh healthy bulb of garlic, carefully seperate the cloves and plant the cloves into some nice fertile soil. Water and they will grow. In 5 to 6 months depending on the time of the year they will be ready to harvest. Easy, and no need for water bottles, knives, space to store them, nothing. And no the cloves do not need to be previously sprouted to perform well.
@@itqannaqti2048 Agreed. I've tried planting garlic in Autumn to harvest the following Spring or Summer but nothing ever comes of it. I'm willing to give this method a try. :)
I for one would prefer to see that I have healthy garlic that will sprout instead of searching for it in the dirt and maybe it didn't sprout, or an animal dug it up, or it rotted in the dirt. Plus, This is an interesting way to take care of the extra garlic I get when I buy from a store that sells multiple in a bag. They always dry out before I can use them. I could do this and either plant the bulbs after they sprout, or use the sprouted garlic greens right in the kitchen. It's not really that much extra work to put it in a bottle and top off the water daily. I'm sure more work is refreshing the water. But people are doing fun weird things like growing onions on their window sill. Some people like to know for sure that their seed will sprout. How frustrating it is to get a bag of bulbs and plant them and None of them sprout. That's a really downer, and it's happened to me, so I know the sadness. LOL
I guess this works but why not just plant the cloves in soil to begin with? Seems like a lot more work for same result. Also, you planted too many in that small pot. They need more room to grow.

Easy home making and useful tips for growing garlic
Drop a airstone in the water and you'll get even bigger root systems in the same time frame. Mine go all the way down the bottom of the bottle, then I plant them. Still Awesome video, thanks for sharing👍🧄👍
I'm a gardener born with patients but did the vid really need to be that long? With no end result either...jeeeze
Thats great planting! however i saw in another blog that when garlic bulb is transplanted should be 4 to 6 inches apart within a pot to give way to its growth specially when the bulb multiplies underneath.
I want to try this kind of technique.thanks for sharing this
We also!

I have tried like what you told here before but it won't sprout.
So I think I will try this method in this video.
@@itqannaqti2048 Agreed. I've tried planting garlic in Autumn to harvest the following Spring or Summer but nothing ever comes of it. I'm willing to give this method a try. :)
Thanks for the advice.
LOL
I love how your creative using what you have making it inexpensive and easy
where is the video after 3 months???
That is good
Yiannis all his garlic plants has died !

I guess this works but why not just plant the cloves in soil to begin with? Seems like a lot more work for same result. Also, you planted too many in that small pot. They need more room to grow.
Just seen this method. Very easy and interesting. Thanks.
This is legit it really works me i did 1 piece of garlic then place in a bottle it grows fast within 3 days
So he just planted garlic to get back the same amount of garlic
@@revan5739 No he will get another whole garlic bulb for each garlic clove he's planted. :D
@@zenpeak are you sure? I wanted to see afterwards what happened to the garlic..
George Narvas did you put it in direct sunlight? thanks
