Alot of the Powell dudes are not only rippers but they also have good positive attitudes. That is a big part of selecting riders to represent a brand. IN my humble opinion.
I think it's awesome people are skating these decks as they were what I grew up skating in the 80's and remember when they progressed and got steeper and longer tails and nose's with much deeper concave in the early 90's. Just goes to show you anything is possible and as long as you are having fun it doesn't matter what you skate and not everyone needs to skate the same stuff or even dress the same way.

In my opinion I feel as Chris & Andy are some of the most gnarliest sk8ers I've got to see skateboarding their style their trick selection an to be from a younger generation to have that style &of late 80s early 90s an then the tech tricks of today, very sick! 🔥

I just got a of ripper as my 3rd deck. Dude it so sick. Little weird not having a nose but I love it. Kick flips and all are actually not hard on this deck. Getting high pop on Ollie is kinda hard but man it so fun. Glad I got one. Took my 169 standard Indy’s thank god they had the 6 holes to fit. Bones red and Nora slime balls 56mm wheels so fun to shred in this thing. Can’t wait to go back to the skatepark this weekend
So is Sakura on PP now or has she been and I didn't notice? When is she getting a clip? Seems like it'd be worth mentioning in the form of a RUclips introduction on the official channel imo. It would be even better to see her skate with a team member.
I think 169. If you still need to know, I can get back to you in about a week and confirm. I ordered the 7 ply one last night from Skate One. I'm going to try it with 159s and the new Dragon Rat Bones. Rat Bones add another 3/8" to the length of the trucks because they are offset wheels that overhang the axles. I noticed that the Flight deck version is listed as 9.7" wide and the 7 ply is 9.89". The board tapers towards the back trucks. I think 215 would be too wide. I used Indy 144s with Rat Bones on my Vallely deck believe it or not. That deck is only 8.5" at the rear trucks.
