I really love how you give tips. Many of the other youtube resellers are only doing what sold and haul videos now and I want some reselling tips. Thank you!
Being able to tell quality materials by touch is so important. I can walk down an aisle in a thrift store and just run my hand down the rack and tell good fabrics without even looking.
You are so right about one piece=many pieces!! I found one Johnny Was top…IN MY SIZE...kept going…found 3 more JW tops! Then I hit dresses…found 2 JW dresses! Again, all my size!!! I hit other areas but no other Johnny Was…best thrifting day of my life, I swear 😂😂
I look at the end of a row for AWESOME pieces! People will sort near the ends and put back passed items. Mage,Citron, figs and Carhartt today alone! Also first place workers will shove new pieces too!
I feel like I am getting a lot better about finding pieces that have more profit, but I'm not having success making sales through poshmark, ebay, or etsy. Do you plan on making any videos about selling online?
100% agree that you HAVE to feel things! Good fabrics and materials just feel different ( better!) and you can find nice things by feel cause sometimes they can be unassuming at first glance..
I have been working on figuring out when the best time to go in our area to our 2 thrift stores Goodwill and Salvation Army. I have so far found right before they close is the best time. I went a couple weeks ago and had about 1 hour. I found the best little haul ever!
Right?!? Or they don’t have one for the public and you have to leave your cart and go next door to a gas station… definitely not speaking from personal experience! 🙈😂
Thank you once again. I like listening to the videos. Several times I will see a brand in the thrift store that I thought I heard somebody say was good and I'll look it up to confirm. I agree with going prepared. I also like wearing a fanny pack or small cross body bag when thrifting (especially at the bins) so I don't have a large heavy purse.
I bring a charging pack now for my phone 😊Had an amazing thrifting weekend! Salvation Army had their back to school sale and all clothes were 50% off! Found mint orange tab Levi’s, Johnny was top and skirt set and one the love shack fancy target collab dresses. It was amazing
Hi Rebekah, I just want to start by saying thank you. Thank you for all the great and awesome content and information. I love watching your content. “Hope you are doing so so well” ❤😅
Love your videos, Fingerless gloves would be the way to go as I have been cut several times even by a pin in clothing item but it's true sometimes you need to touch. Knowing brands is a big help if you do choose to wear gloves. Thank you for a helpful and honest video. Keep them coming
The LIMITED as been out of business since the late 90's I think. They had great clothes that were definitely pricey at the time. I use to shop there sometimes when I was looking for something special that I really wanted. This was the early 90's.
Hey could you make a list so I can’t print it and take it with me to the store I watch a lot of your videos, but I have MS so I forgot a lot easier then others and it would be so helpful just to have a list to memorize for clothes
I actually have been working on compiling all of my lists into documents that you can print! They’re available to members of my channel! I think my channel membership is $5 for a month. 😊❤️
The Salvation Army here has started pulling their new racks behind the counter so buyers can’t go through them. Their prices are so high now it’s really not worth going there anymore. Very mean-spirited.
Clothes is my downfall and I’m learning a lot from you and I would go back and make a list but I would have to rewatch everything because you are always saying new brands so a general list would be great it’s up to you but like a Jean list, shirts, dresses, shoes, dresses, purses, and outerwear and maybe men’s
@RebekahAllison Hey, my wife is a huge fan of your videos. She started reselling on Poshmark a month ago. So far she has 18 sales, 17k followers, just reached ambassador. She's a bit discouraged sales aren't coming in faster. How long did it take for your sales to start coming in? Just one a day consistently? Thank you so much!!
That’s amazing!! That’s wonderful progress so quickly! It took me months to see once a day sales, but if she’s watching my videos and doing research, I’m sure she’ll get there quicker than I did! Tell her not to be discouraged! I also still have no sale days and I have over a thousand items listed!
Hi! Love your tips! Do you recommend any specific day to go Thrift? I read online that the best days are mondays and Tuesdays because most of donation happens on weekends so the employees start organizing everything by Monday and Tuesday. @rebekahallison . Thank you for your vídeos!!❤

I definitely want to implement the tip about checking other racks for the same size if I find a quality item!
Thank you!!!
You are so sweet and helpful, Rebekah! Love watching your videos!
The use the restroom one is SUPER important- I can't tell you have many times I had to use the restroom, and the bathroom wasn't that clean 😭.
Right?!? Or they don’t have one for the public and you have to leave your cart and go next door to a gas station… definitely not speaking from personal experience! 🙈😂
@@RebekahAllison YESSS! Then you're worried someone's gonna steal your cart or an employee is gonna put it all back
Sizing advice is great! Thank you!
Very informative video! Thank you so much for always sharing your knowledge. Always look forward to a new video from you! ❤

My SheHero! Thank you for awesome suggestions!
Gracias
Any tips when the thrift store doesn't have a dressing room?
I bring a charging pack now for my phone 😊Had an amazing thrifting weekend! Salvation Army had their back to school sale and all clothes were 50% off! Found mint orange tab Levi’s, Johnny was top and skirt set and one the love shack fancy target collab dresses. It was amazing

These are all great tips. Thank you so much for making this video.
Bekah, do you have a day of the week when you find the best items? Or is that store-dependent? You have taught me so much, and I'm so thankful!
Do you have a code I can enter for Vendoo? I already signed up but haven’t gotten the paid subscription yet and wanted to use your code!!
Yes ma’am!! If you sign up when you follow my link, that helps me out a lot!!
My Vendoo link is in the description box!
So helpful to me as a rookie! Btw, Jeremy and I are from the same home city! You’re the best!!!
Great advice! Thanks 🌷

love ur videos they are so helpful :)
Great tips! And of course one of the best things on this video was your sweet dog!
Can't imagine going to the bins without gloves - I've found stuff with puke on it, needles, broken glass...
Hey could you make a list so I can’t print it and take it with me to the store I watch a lot of your videos, but I have MS so I forgot a lot easier then others and it would be so helpful just to have a list to memorize for clothes

I watch her videos with pen and paper in hand
Great tips!! ❤
I hate jeans, i have not had luck with reselling them and I find them overpriced at GW.
I agree. They are easy to post but they do not move for me. I have high end brands just sitting in my closet 😑
I’m so overwhelmed trying to get merch. Seems like everyone is a reseller now. I was so excited, now I don’t know how to get ahead. Or find my niche.
I will only dig at the bins with gloves on bc the FIRST time I dug without, immediately got an unknown sticky substance all over my hands 😩
Fun😊
REBEKAH!! I'M PROUD OF YOU. YOU'VE BLOSSOMED INTO A "RESELLING MASTERMIND". CONTINUE TO BE "HUMBLE". YOUR CHANNEL WILL BE BLESSED.🙏🙏🙏🙏
💛
Please, Do a Logo video...TIA

What state are you in!
NorCal
@@LJack-ck8uh ahhh, ok, Michigan here. They are ridiculously nice here but I have never seen another reseller there
