Craig Jones (Absolute MMA) vs Roberto Dib Frias (One Purpose BJJ) - 10min Submission Only Superfight with EBI Overtime rules, ALL submissions legal - October 2017
Because Frias was just defending not attacking not even one attempt to pass just sit here pushing , he did the same thing against lachlan ,I dont know how in your mind you can come to a superfight like" ok I will just defend"
I would thumbs up the video but it's either Dib is a white belt or he was just scared/ had no idea what to do. Like if you're scared you can try something, anything. Except running away, don't do that.
Rob Dib is a world class blackbelt. When you're caught in a heel hook, you really *don't* want to do something spasmodic/random (or you'll be off a year+ getting a knee reconstruction) - turning and trying to free the knee line is an option.
Brenton McKiterick at 4:04 he should be turning his toes inside instead of outside, that’s the 1st step, 2nd step clearing the knee line, 3rd step re-pummeling for his counter offense. “World class black belt” not in this video.
@@r.q.b4808 Every competitor has weaknesses; a significant percentage of world class competitors have a weakness with leglocks, though that is certainly changing as it becomes more mainstream. Go look up the rest of his fights - he's a beast. If he's not, as you say, you're welcome to prove him wrong - he's an active competitor in his prime :)
@@brentonmckiterick4786 He's world-class for sure and he's been working on his leglock game a lot recently. He comes from a very traditional BJJ background (look at his lineage) and, as such, leglocks aren't really a part of his repertoire.
Man he does alot to get the legs.

Super dynamic from the guy in orange lolol
Right from the beginning he's trying to setup that triangle. Then at 4:00, he's like, fuck it, I'll go for a leglock.
