As a former contractor, I learned many lessons along the way from dealing with crooked, entitled people. My contract had provisions for delays and the hourly rates associated with the delays. If Karen wanted me to wait outside for an hour and leave the house when she showered, I would've billed her for that time.
Most places my dad have worked, if they were sent somewhere and they were not let in within 30 mins of the agreed upon time without a good reason, they would simply leave and bill them for the whole day as if they had been there, and they could because it was in the contract, some tried to contest it, but all lost, it was in the contract and the paper and/or e-mail they get with the scedule has the "if workers are not given acces within 30 mins of agreed upon time withour proper cause, client will be billed in full" clause written on it, so there would be no "I didn't know that" excuses.
In the story of the entitled abusive brother, when he starts acting that way, you should put your phone on record. Then you have back up and proof. You should get your school counselor involved to help you Hun. Be safe and don't be afraid to call the police if he gets aggressive.
I have had multiple Karen's for neighbors over the years but I'm retired law enforcement and combat security contractor so they never messed with me more than once.

That property line story confuses me. If the lunatic lived ACROSS the street, then what was she doing moving the surveyor stakes? What did I miss?
Nothing- clearly it’s a made up story. No one is that dumb to pull that crap when you’re not even next door to the neighbor.
That last one is darn scary! That brother is a loose cannon that will one day snap and cause much harm to family members or other people.
Wait… the first story had Karen moving in across the street, and she later complains about tree branches overhanging her yard. That’s either a really narrow street, or the OP has mightily big trees in his back yard.
The last story just pissed me off to no end
This started out, saying that Karen moved in across the street. How could she possibly be moving steaks between this purpose, property and hers is across the street

Question, shared property? How does that work on your property taxes? Last time I checked, she’s committing a crime by removing those survey markers but if it would decrease my property taxes?, go right ahead Karen. Better yet, do away with those GD HOA.
The only question I have on that first story is if the woman lived across the street from the writer why was she measuring on their side of the road?
So Karen lived both next door and across the street already makes story one suspect. But getting the lead county surveyor to your house in 10 minutes is unbelievable, as in I don't believe it's real.

Can you please do something about the level of the recording. It got so quiet in one story that for me it was nearly impossible to hear because I have hearing issues and I had to follow the text to follow along with the story. This has happened in a number of videos, and it gets quite frustrating at times.
Use pipes wrapped in foam rubber. They hurt but don't leave marks.
I have only had one Karen for a neighbor. She was trying to toss her weight around as some HOA president (I was not in the HOA). I talked to my SIL who was a newly hired lawyer. I was only asking if she could recommend a lawyer that specialized in HOA law to see what my options were. I got better results than I ever expected. She talked to her boss (let's call him Sam), who decided to take the case for free. We showed up to the next HOA meeting. Sam, my SIL and ten others, were all dressed in expensive suits. When it came around to our turn to speak, Sam got up and walked directly over to one of the HOA guys and said something like "It's been awhile. It will be interesting to see you in court again. As you can see, my firm has grown". Those HOA board members looked shocked. I could not hear anything else, but eventually Sam came over and told me "they have agreed to drop the matter, and "Karen" has resigned as HOA president". I could not be happier. I found out from my SIL that the reason Sam had taken the case for free was simply because it involved that specific HOA. Apparently, when he had first started out one of his first cases was a lawsuit against them and it got ugly.
FYI - He had brought along secretaries, clerks, and para-legals all dressed up to the meeting to give the impression of a large legal team. Sam was the only one that spoke. I am pretty sure Sam and my SIL were the only actual lawyers. I took the entire team out to dinner by way of thanks, but when the bill came Sam picked it up and said "It's on me, I haven't had this much fun in years". RIP Sam.

Actually Karen you agreed to the property lines when you bought the property, if she was told something else that's between Karen and seller not OP.
As far as the last story goes, can you not contact CPS, or animal protection? (Animal protection has got very broad powers lately.)
Are there relatives in the area who will take in you, your sister and cat? Counselors or teachers who can help?
Talk to your sister alone, and get her to understand that trying to protect her from him while you fight is much more difficult with her presence.

In regards to the last story, I am so sorry you have to be put into this situation. I have experiences a similiar behaviors with my step children who are now adults. I was raised spare the rod and spoil the child. It didnt take longer to discover this was not an effective method. We had a ABA Therapists working with them and us as they qualifies for a waiver ti pay for this as they are autistic with additional diagnosises. What I would do is use my phone to record their behavior and mine so the therapists could help us in how to have handled the situation. The recordings have also served a dual purpose as they support my actions when I have had to defend myself. I use a mobility chair to get around but I studied martial arts for years and I know how and white to hit to send the situation as quickly as possible. The recordings support me when I have to protect myself by striking someone. You should practice holding your phone in a nonchalant way. Do NOT let them see you recording as you may nit get the true behavior. Do not worry about keeping things in frame. You also have the fact that people, even assholes, are polite when the cameras are on. It can also trigger a direct attack on you. Practice keeping the cameras recording. You could also get a camera and have it hidden like a Teddy Bear camera. Your sister could secretly record. I would take these recordings directly to your school principal or counselor, if you feel your parents will not listen. This could result in you and your sister being removed and placed in the foster system. Think about it. Your Dad is worthless. With footage of your brothers bad behaviors Mom may wake up. I am sorry you do not have the support you need it this time on your life. I always back ups my videos to my Facebook account. You can out them in a folder and set them privacy settings so that only you or designated persons can see them.

That first story makes no sense. The Karen lives across the street, right? Which means that even if the markers were wrong, her property would end when it got to, gasp, THE STREET SHE LIVES ON. Because streets, at least in the USA, belong to the city; they're owned and maintained by the city, so a private person could not have their property extend into or beyond the street unless said property goes around the street, like at a dead end. As such, the only property markers that could be wrong would be the ones between OP's property and Karen's, or between Ralph's and Karen's, depending on whose property is up against hers. For her to be messing with the markers between OP's and Ralph's simply makes no sense, since she literally has no property there. Either Ralph gets the additional space or OP does; not Karen. She can't just move the markers and then claim the land now belongs to her since she has no legal right to that land. It doesn't border her property, after all. There's a big fat bit of city property in the way for that to be the case.
