I went snorkeling here 3 years ago and found a bag with about 600 silver coins in it. They say there isn’t much there but just go in the wreck yourself and see
Yeah, sure. Post a pic or it's BS.
@@SDpostcards ok I just posted 5 pics
Yeah I call bs also.
@@OCGames. Dude owns a dive rental shop there...lol..
I’m a little on the fence with your story. When the El ‘Nino of 96-97 uncovered it and we had -0.5 low tides and lower we used metal detectors for days and we didn’t find anything other than a tetanus shot from Doc Morton. Loads of locals and I really looked and on day 3 Capt Neil of the lifeguard’s said glad you had fun but the liability for the City was too high. End of the fun.
Last week we found 2 silver coins 🪙 from 1919 & 1917
I live in Santa Cruz and we have a concrete ship in nearby Aptos. Supposedly these last storms damaged it further and much less of it is visible. (I first saw it in 2008 but haven’t been there recently).
Your mom's a concrete ship
Oh that was a Norwegian ship and it’s in Rio Delmar and 20 years ago you could walk out on the ship and fish it’s still out there but with his recent storm the dock has fallen so you can’t get out there anymore
Why is he in the dark? Seriously, what was the purpose of standing in the dark?
@Erik H I know, right? I thought the same thing. Reporting on something now visible and rarely ever seen, in the DARK. Genius.
@@msannthrope1863 live nightly news?
@@G_Kaz of course. But logic would tell them to prerecord it during the day and broadcast it later. They’ve lost sight long ago that their job is to report on the news. These days it’s all about standing outside in hurricanes and blizzards telling people to stay home. It’s just moronic.
This reminds me of the GOONIES movie. ONE EYE WILLY 🏴☠️
You can't even see it!!🙄
It's a sign of San diegos future with the direction it is headed.
Here, here! To all the gamblers, drunks, and go getters! 😂
San Diego’s Crown jewel…actually has treasure beneath the surface of the glorious sea!
That year 1937 is when my grandma was born. Wild
Your grandmother is my sugar momma
Very cool 😎
San Diego outta get that old ship wreck out of there….
I’ve hurt my foot on that ship not knowing what it was walking around the water once 😅
Me too!
Your mom hurt my foot once
Amazing how the beach is in exactly the same place and the water at in the same level after the 8 decades of global warming
You dingus.... What part of.... Every so often.... After a major storm...... It is uncovered..... Hahahahaha
You should let all the climate scientists know about your "findings".
Contact AOC & the Green New Dildo committee 🤔
@@trevorsole3933 it will go along nicely with their ‘findings’. It’s always interesting looking at the monument in key west marking the southernmost point in the continental USA Today vs. a photo from 50 years ago. How the water is in the same place is really a sign of all that sea level rise.
@@tvviewer4500 have you alerted the scientific community to your breakthrough discoveries that refute all climate science yet?
Cool 😎
Us IB surfers go to shipwrecks when IB is to big.
Woohoo my kind of vessel
Your passing them
I don’t think Gordon Lightfoot is going to be writing any songs, about this ship wreck, anytime soon 🧐
“Soooo San Diego” is this a teenager news channel?
Again
How did a giant ship like that get way out into the water in the first place?? 😲🤯
Alcohol and money can make anything float. Lol
Maybe it hit an iceberg
It had no engines. It was just an anchored ship and the anchors broke through the storm
@ alitlweird During that era it was easier to go to Tijuana, buy all the booze you could transport and bring it into the U.S. All it took was a few bucks or a bottle to bribe the border agents.
Source: Great Grampa bought tequila and resold it back in those days.
To bad they can send a drone out so we can get a visual
Now the dead can rest
Your mom can rest
Goonies forever
Yes!!!!!
🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
trash in the water
California legislative will quickly find some type of new tax to place on it !!!
A viewing tax 🤯🤣 and the woke will say the ship is racist somehow.
The ships owner was taxed, the city was taxed, the people viewing the ship was taxed. I’m sure I was taxed just living in SD.
@Matt woke is the outrage from the Right over the colors of M&M's mascots.
I was just taxed for reading this….
@@Skeeskeeskee 😆😆
When did Fire Marshall Bill move to San Diego?
Well that's what happens you can't see it but you know it's there these ships from back then disintegrate after a while but from what I see it's the same thing going on with Noah's ark but Noah's ark is further under the water than on the Coast
Mount Tendurek is 11,000 feet above sea level, you are mistaken
@@TheREALLibertyOrDeath ? what are you talking about?
@@TheREALLibertyOrDeath what is above sea level?
Unless the ship was owned by a Republican... Hahaha
Gold Rush all over again
Get a better hobby lol
Again
Hows the cost of butter treating your anti american, anti democracy and oversized treasonous ass these days ?
So? It's still cool.
