Lori Pinkmommyx2 hmm..maybe you should have tryed Trombone. For some people it's easyer because of the bigger mouthpiece ;) best regards to your daughter. The beginning can be exhausting but it's worth to practice because trumpet is a wonderful instrumnet!

Trumpet is the only instrument I realy learned. With Saxophon I can play some stuff but a real player would probably laugh about me. With Piano and Guitar I have to practice every song for its own because I can't realy play them right.

No :) if you just started playing you prabably shouldn't play for hours... But the pain shouldn't be a problem ;)

a good technique and a some trainig you schould be okay.
