Naming is a huge issue. As someone who has the buds 2 since I don't give a crap about kilohertz and stuff that doesn't matter with Bluetooth anyways how the pros advertise naturally my eyes were on the regular 3 and the open design turns me off to them
as someone who lost Buds 2, I decided to just get Buds 3, but I didn't watch any reviews or tested them on myself, thought it's a simple upgrade. I am a bit disappointed with the lack of ear tip on Buds 3. I understand that it's a different type of earbuds, but as mentioned in the comments they shouldn't have named it Buds 3 then. I have to say the sounds quality on Buds 3 is noticeably better than on Buds 2 but
As many others have already pointed out, the Buds3 and Buds2 comparison is trying to compare apples and oranges. Open design vs sealed (rubber tip) design. The naming seems to have confused many users coming from Buds2, but the Buds3 is NOT a direct successor of the Buds2. If anything, it's meant to be a successor of the Buds Live. Definitely a bad naming choice on Samsung's part. Open earbuds like the regular Airpods, Buds Live, and the Buds3 are designed to let ambient sound in. They are for users who do not like sealed earbuds/rubber tips. Anyone who prefers IEMs or cares about ANC to any extent should get the Buds2, B2P, or B3P instead and avoid open design earbuds. I get that SoundGuys is an audiophile review channel, but I wouldn't say the Buds3 are "a step backwards" for Samsung; they are just made for a different market. Comparing them to similar open fit buds like the Buds Live or Airpods would make a lot more sense.
I despise the "sealed" (rubber rip) design and hate that this is the standard today. I much more like this open design. So what i would like to know from a review is if these are the best OPEN DESIGN earbuds.. i wouldn't think about getting these and watching a review if i didn't already like the non-silicone-tip design.
I wish people would stop saying Samsung stole this design from the Apple. Lots of companies do this shape nowadays. But Samsung gets flack? All Apple did was take the classic regular wired ear buds design we had for YEARS and cut the wire. They didnt innovate anything here..How am I the only person to realize this
I've 3 pairs of the buds Pro 2, lost 2 and found them, bought at considerable discounts and upgraded, and the latest Buds3 pro, discounted when I upgraded to the 3, when I turned in buds 2. They are both amazing in sound and quality. The 3 in my opinion are better they have better sound and noise cancelling is awesome. While walking the dogs I can listen to music and hear traffic. They are easier to control, more intuitive, come on man they have lights also. The only thing I don't like is they are quite slippery with zero grip. It looks like a bunch of these RUclipsrs are getting on the same bandwagon knocking the 3 just for clicks. If you're on the fence and want the best get the three pros if you want to save money the 2 are more than acceptable.
Am i missing something? Why did you not talk about the fact that buds3 doesn't have ambient mode (transparency mode) which is easily the biggest problem of galaxy buds3 compared to the buds2
As previously mentioned you are comparing apples to oranges. How in the world could you think comparing one with silicone tips to one w/o is even remotely a good comparison? Need to do a little more homework if you want to do a fair and honest review.
Negative, it is a good and honest review. However one good point you have is that they are different devices. The fault falls on Samsung marketing these devices as Buds 2 and Buds 3. This line of marketing demonstrates that one device is the successor of the other.

It's a canal type vs open type. Not comparable at all
The buds 3 is a successor to buds live

@@Browncurse it's the Bluetooth transfer rate. It does make a noticeable difference in sound quality

Huge blunder on the naming choice. Samsung absolutely deserves to get roasted and get these kind of reviews.

They like all the rest of the haters are just jealous and looking for clicks
Now buds 2 vs buds 3 pro im dieing to find out nobody has done it
They are excellent. I, for one, like knowing and hearing if I'm about to be run over or mugged by someone creeping up on me...

Hey do you have buds 2? I broke mine and im deciding whether i should get 2 pro, 3 or 3pro as a replacement
This man is a (handsome) Fanboy of Samsung
Do you suggest updating from buds2 to buds3 pro?

Thanks for the great video.
Best buy still carries buds 2 and buds 2 prp
The design Team took "inpiration" from Apple and thought it would lure aplle users in. The Samsung ceo warned then baisicly. Should fired them tho.
Agreed
He's upset, and rightly so because of the clone comments.
But Galaxy buds 2 have 24 bits too
You can check this on Developer mode

Negative. This is simply a showcase on whether you should buy the buds 2.

galaxy buds 2 has terrible connectivity even using s24, a few meters and audio just drops almost everytime.
Can you review the edifier W830nb
Newer is better this time. My buds 2 pro are just meh in every aspect
The 2s are still better than many
@@RockJustice lol no
@@JohnnyBravoGn Just my two cents, but I liked my buds 2 WAY more than the 2 pro I have now. Sadly my buds 2 got stolen 😭
@curbo34 but we are talking about the 3 pros here
I'm salty I traded my 2s for the 3s. I had the titanium silver ones too 🤦 2s are better. Not debatable.
