I lost my first run with a triple SI control lineup(Thresh Lux,Corina and Anivia),but it was so fun to play that I messed around with other decks later.
Great video man! I really enjoyed the gauntlet. I played triple SI (Iceborn Spiders, Heimer SI and Lux Fiora SI)
I'm sad not seeing my favourite deck during the beta time, anivia control. I remember it so much, having lots of fun just being a shitty person to play against, trying to get at 10 mana so i could end the game with warmother value
I think it'd actually be very powerful. I'm just... not really an anivia enjoyer
@@Snnuy make sense, i honestly miss using my 3/7 lifesteal to stabilize (no idea of their name). Maybe i'll give it a try, even tho games used to last so much using that deck by all the removal and healing you needed to consistently reach 10 mana

Ionia has unbeatable elusives on foundation. There is no slience (except purify), no sharpside, not enough strike spell and not enough board clear (avalange and wail etc)
i did get assfucked by two jeweled protector (+3/3 to card in hand) into empyrean tho
Had*. They all have been nerfed. There's reason why they only appeared with Bard and now with equipment.
That was kinkou elusives with zed and a ton of elusives, but mostly is already nerfed 😅
Its so weird seeing so many cards out but it really does bring back some memories! Remember when captain farron filled your hand with decimates!

I made it with Karma/Lux, Bannerman (Garen is great in this slower meta) and Heimer nonsense. Basically this meta is all about value, its hard to rush your opponent down with all the SI.
A foundations gauntlet sounds really fun, time to bring out some old decks
This feels like Chronoshift project, almost.
Because it playing old decks but the player play it better than back then
I am not so sure if I like the timewinder gauntlet in the way it got implemented.
Foundations LoR had a good balance, but we aren't playing with the cards in their original version, we play with buffed/nerfed versions adjusted to LoR today.
Essentially all cards from foundations that got a buff to keep up with modern LoR will dominate the format now and it's way less interesting to brew in an environment where the balance is off.
Do an actual rewind in the sense of bringing cards back to their state at the end of each expansion and then we can go play.

@@reynieryfletez5739 yeah right. Given how hard it is for the riot developers to write correct patchnotes i gotta admit I ask for a lot there...
Maybe in a future they can make a better adapt for this type of events. But for now y just recommend to use Jynx decks and anivia decks. The others are like meh.

I went Freljord midrange value and CRUSHED all of the aggro decks lol, the deck was good in foundations and most of their core cards were buffed

Technically yeah it would've been better to deny the axe, but given the state of the game I would have lost no matter what target I would have glimpsed
