Fun fact!!! another mod (made by same team, and part of the create simulated project) has the plunger weels from bad piggies! the video show casing it is straight up has bp music and the skin the player is wearing is a angry birds pig. oh, also, bad piggies 3d exists, its bad piggies 2, it just sucks.
Looking at ponder videos available - aeronautics is more appealing to me. However, you need to wait a million years to play it, so it doesn't really matter. It's a common thing for WIP projects like this, they look incredible, but you won't be able to check them out for a long time. The only thing you can really do - just to forget them, until they really will release.

Clockwork has its merits for sure but aeronautics is a much more robust system. The things clockwork is good for is apparent, it was implemented in a way closer to what we already had so it was quicker to produce, whereas aeronautics has a system being made from the ground up that is able to handle stuff in a much more adaptive way but that takes longer to develop.
Wtf is competing? They are competing for what? Money? Status? I may believe that they "stole" some code to release the mod faster, as they didnt think of aeronautics as a real project. I MAY believe that. Now aeronautics IS A REAL DEAL, im pretty sure they are not stealing any code now. Also, you mentioned "mods"? What are the other mods besides valkirien skies?
