For me eccosport. Venue got more features and less maintance and also great mileage. And it has got the best automatic transmission DCT. But in case of me I will be buying car with a 5 yr emi plan . And surely in 5 yrs it will be covering odo above 60k kms. But as a new Hyundai I dont expect good electrical equipments. 3 of the i20 in owned by my friends is a paper tissue after crossing 60 kms. Shock absorbers, thyroids, power steering, abs sensor and more thing like this is dead.
The old Ford figo and fiesta also got such kind of problems. And honestly I don't know about the new models of these car. But I don't find any such complaints on a petrol version eccosport covered 1,30,000 km

Ford is not itself marketing this car well. This is a very good car but mileage figures are not that great in real world during initial ownership and hence people start complaining about it too much, if there is a full load in the car it's the best money can buy even the dct turbo venue can't match it's decent performance. May be due to higher cc EcoSport does not have much hickup but others definitely do have a prominent lag. Ford should improve instrument cluster and reduce weight of this car as it really is as heavy as a Creta which reduces performance and mileage.

Given a choice between Hyundai Venue 1.0 DCT and the Ford model reviewed above which one will you choose and why ?
For me eccosport. Venue got more features and less maintance and also great mileage. And it has got the best automatic transmission DCT. But in case of me I will be buying car with a 5 yr emi plan .
And surely in 5 yrs it will be covering odo above 60k kms.
But as a new Hyundai I dont expect good electrical equipments. 3 of the i20 in owned by my friends is a paper tissue after crossing 60 kms. Shock absorbers, thyroids, power steering, abs sensor and more thing like this is dead.
The old Ford figo and fiesta also got such kind of problems. And honestly I don't know about the new models of these car. But I don't find any such complaints on a petrol version eccosport covered 1,30,000 km

I think ecosport is better since it comes with a TC...even though DCT is quick in shifts..it's maintenance cost is a bit high..

Ford is not itself marketing this car well. This is a very good car but mileage figures are not that great in real world during initial ownership and hence people start complaining about it too much, if there is a full load in the car it's the best money can buy even the dct turbo venue can't match it's decent performance. May be due to higher cc EcoSport does not have much hickup but others definitely do have a prominent lag.
Ford should improve instrument cluster and reduce weight of this car as it really is as heavy as a Creta which reduces performance and mileage.
