Thanks though
Room temperature doesn't apply in this situation 😂
Thank you for watching!🙏
Normal room temperature, normal. Not 40C or minus 20C. Sony about minus 10 in your house right now...are you ok?
Microwave it

I needed this! I have never cooked or liked red meat before but now live with my boyfriend who loves steak. On days I am off work and he’s working I want to surprise him with a nice steak dinner
This is amazing, I really hope that it comes out as expected. Good luck 🤞🏻
A probe thermometer could really help👌🏻
@@KitchenDraft thank you! I’ll definitely buy one of those to make sure it comes out perfect
@@ramyeonhan8276 it really makes the difference 🚀
thank you
Thanks for watching, Roy.
I appreciate the comment 🙏
Bit of garlic powder as well takes it to another level
I guess you could, but there is some great flavour of garlic in there already 😁 thanks for watching 🙏
Perfect

@@KitchenDraft I will do, and I am sorry for the late reply.
@@danielsmith9476 no problems, have a great Sunday! ✅
Great method of cooking . . .will give it a go in about 5 minutes!! Okay - where you from? I love that accent!!Okay, yes this worked out great. Went a little long on the temp but was still good, dog did not complain ; )
Hey, thanks for watching! I am from Romania 🇷🇴 and I live in Jersey, Channel Islands 🇯🇪, but I do get people saying that I am Italian, both latin languages probably that's why 🙂
It really helps if the steak is thicker, you have more time to react and if you have a probe thermometer you can't really get it wrong.
See you around.🙂
I wish you showed how you physically measure the meat temp. Do you measure while it’s in the pan on heat or take it out and measure, then put it back on the pan?
Straight in the pan in the center of the steak. Sorry, I should have been more specific on this.
If you have any other questions, please let me know 😊
Do you turn the heat down when adding the butter?
Yes, reduce the heat otherwise you will burn the butter🙂
I would have liked to see a close up of the finished product.
I totally agreed, sorry the second shot was out of focus 😐 hopefully this recipe was useful, even without a better ending. Thanks for watching 🙏
After a minute on each side, you never said how much longer
Hi, thanks for taking your time to leave a comment.
It comes a lot to the steak thickness, so I sugest using a probe thermometer, this will tell you exactly whe the steak is cooked to perfection, I hope this helps 😁
@@KitchenDraftwhat if i dont have one
@@mooshy2072 there is other method, by touching it, but that comes with experience.
A thermometer costs bout $10 and it's truly a great investment.
Was the crushed garlic peeled of skin or not?
Hi Romulus, thanks for the question! You can add the garlic with the skin on without any issues, just make sure that you crush it prior to this so it can release its flavour in the melted butter/streak. I hope this helps 😁
@@KitchenDraft Thank you for a very swift reply...! I did not know that one could cook garlic with skin on.
@@Romulus980 any time 😁 it is more for flavour than anything else
How long to baste?
1-2 min, it will depend a lot on how thick your steak is. I would use a probe thermometer to know when to stop basting and remove the stake from the heat.
Good tips should use more salt and pepper because you lose most of it while cooking also should always season the edges of the steak as well every side counts too adding flavour
Thanks for watching and for the tip.
You could absolutely do with more seasoning if you wish.
Unfortunately the steak i used was really thin so seasoning on the sides doesn't really do much in this situation, but for thicker cuts makes total sense 🙂
@@KitchenDraft yea fair enough just thought I’d share something I have learned all trail and error and personal preference though I guess 🤙 good video though man quick and to the point a lot off cooking doesn’t need over explanation
@perthbmx8 thank you, much appreciated, I try my best not to waste people's time 🙂 Great having you on the channel 👏🏻
What if we don't have a thermometer? How does one eyeball the temp 😅?
Well that comes with experience and although there is a vague technique that some people use with touching certain parts of your palm and wrist to compare it with the touch and feel of the steak, I don't believe in it much because the meat can have slightly different consistency from the steak being aged to the age of the slaughtered animal (at least this is my opinion)
A probe thermometer would still be your best chance, at least at the beginning 😁
Just look it up on youtube. Gordon ramsay has a good way to tell what temp the steak is
@Almighty_1 I must say, still thermometer is the best😁
@@KitchenDraft Absolutely. I could never use the hand method. It's too inconsistent for me. Thermometers are always 99% accurate
Totally 💯
Please use avacado oil
You can use whatever oil you prefer with exactly the same cooking method 🙂 Thanks for watching
*Pan :)
I know😂 thanks for watching 🙏
gino? :>
The Romanian version 😂 Thanks for watching 👨🏻🍳
That looks more done than medium rare
It probably went a bit over by the time I managed to also take care of the recording, but it wasn't far off 😊 Thanks for watching
dude if u batter the steak, it gets harder as the butter is cold
Trust me, it's the other way around, the butter is hot once melted 👀
You're using a non stick pan on high heat, which is a no no, you should never use high heat with non stick pans. That will break down the non-stick layer and release it into your food. Invest in a stainless steel, cast iron or carbon steel pan.
Thnak you for the advice, you can use the same cooking method with any pan you prefer. Thanks for watching 🙂
Hello everyone cooks differently don’t be a hater ❤😂
@Testinator1234 I’m talking about u
@@user-dg9zo9ix2j totally right and as I said in previous comments, focus more on the cooking method than on the tools. Adapt and make it happen your own way 🙂
Use beef dripping now seed oils 😢
You can use whatever you prefer and apply the same cooking method. Thanks for watching 🙏
You look and speak like zelensky!
In a good or a bad way? 😂
I am from Eastern Europe, Romania, the accent might be the problem 😂
@@KitchenDraftthere is no good way, that man is a joke to his “country”
