un magnifique document d'archive !
Oh man, you have a great pace going. The next time I go to Paris, I also take my bike with me. Liked and subscribed
I watched all your videos. Keep 'em coming!
Wow thanks! I just uploaded a new one, it should be ready tomorrow.
Quite a relaxing video to have in the background whilst working at home. Paris is beautiful
instablaster...
Appreciating the little effort. But needless to say, that's not how it's properly done. The bike lanes should be positioned alongside the sidewalks and the cars should be parked beside the road. In fact the sidewalk and the bike lanes should be both elevated ted from the road by like 2 feet.
I am jealous )
What kind of bike are you riding?
That's a BMC AC02 One (Alpenchallenge One would be the new equivalent)
Good 👍🏻
How many kms did you ride ? Great video
Thanks! This one was about 6km. It goes across the southern half of Paris. There is another bike lane that continues north. This one is often completely full, too narrow and honestly quite uncomfortable.
@@urbandreamist thats great !
What type of bike are you riding. I think it is a BMC ALpenchallenge if am correct. Let me know as I have one.
Correct, I have an Alpenchallenge AC02 One (2020). I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do :)
@@urbandreamist Great I knew it was BMC. I think they are the best bikes on the market also the racing bikes and mountain bikes. They have found the balance between stiffness and comfort which not many companies get right. Cheers enjoy.
😍💔
Those poles to prefend car in the bikeline are to wide. It makes sense at the parking spots but not at the other places. This results in deliveryvans unloading their cargo in the bikeline
Not just delivery vans. It became a parking lane. The video was filmed last year, poles are now either gone or flattened by trucks. I often see cops driving by and doing nothing to people parked on the cycle lane. Extremely annoying...
Why the hell am I watching this? Good video btw!
Haha I often ask myself the same question when I lose track of time in RUclips. Thanks anyway! Come back soon, no reason required ;)
@@urbandreamist keep up the good videos!
Rote Ampel ?
Seems sorta half hearted to me. Not even an elevated separation from the road but just painting the road with some occasional poles. It's not like they can't afford them... 😑 It's like one of the richest cities on earth!
I did my bike trainer using urban Paris track ☺
Amazing, you're the second person to say this. I never imagined my videos would be used like that :D
Why you don`t stop ar red lights?
It all depends. Many red lights have a sign that allows cyclist to pass. If they don't have this sign, I may pass anyway if I have good visibility and there are no pedestrians crossing. Just like I would do on foot.
@@urbandreamist thanks for the answer, in poland where i live red light always mean you cant enter junction whoever you are
C'est où a paris exactement?
Entre la Vache Noire à Arcueil et Place du Chatelet
Not ideal bike lanes but at least they are giving it a go.
You can't really go from a car centric to a Netherlands like infrastructure in a day, but this is definitely much more than other places did, and a huge step in the right direction. I'm definitely jealous, my city has barely any bike infrastructure and suicidally big intersections in places, where I'd rather hop off the bike and walk across the pedestrian way if I had to merge several lanes towards a left turn.
@@Dark__Thoughts do you live in Bucharest?
@@bogdantudor7195 No, I'm German.
