0:43 ah, der storchsnabel! I love that it stopped the cut even without hard sword flex or withdraval reflex :D

I was 100 percent commited at that point. It twisted my whole body as it twisted in the same direction as the momentum of the oberhaw.
I got hit and thought, damn that was dope af.

    Congratulations on your results!
How did you liked the ruleset?

Overall I liked it more than I disliked it.
The judges weren't perfectly on one page on the planches. On some quality was judged on some it wasn't. Some used priority. Some didn't as it was open to the judges. But in the overall scheme of things I think the outcome would be very similar.
I personally prefer this over regular after blow rules. Initiative becomes more important.
But the judges need to be better trained for this ruleset, than for afterblow rules.
Honestly, the most important thing on a tournament are the judges themselves and the ones here were superb. Fast and mostly accurate calls.

The game has really stepped up, huh.

It has been stupidly high in the polish, slovak and zceck scene for quite a while now.

@@petritzky it is and it isn't. A lot of ppl here have good understanding of fencing, but in terms of thechnique and control many fencers still have a lot of work to do.

    Hi
Does this tournament use priority (right of way) rules ?

Yes. It is, however, up to the judges.
