Careful Mr. Tulfo, Spies are trained to fool a lie detector test. Guo's ability to handle all the pressure thrown towards her is freakingly good for someone who is said to grew up isolated in a farm from the outside world. It is as if She was trained for this Confrontation.
I find it hard to believe that a person whose childhood hardly have social contact with many people, Have this level of confidence to handle such pressure.
I agree, if she is a trained sleeper agent alice guo can easily surpass a polygraph test.
I was surprised why Sen. Tulfo suggested that she undergo lie detector test which was immediately accepted by this mayor without hesitation at all! I can smell something here!

Bruh, he just helped her a TON for suggesting it. She's the one in need to prove her identity and not the other way around.
Think of it this way:
IF she's the one who suggested the test and she passes: the Senate can just say it's inadmissible in the court for questionable reliability and she's clearly prepared for it and that's why she suggested the test (she's a trained spy agent and can easily fool a lie detector test).
If Sen. Tulfo suggested it and she passes the test: It'll be hard for the Senate to say it's inadmissible since they're the ones who suggested it in the first place. If the Senate refuses to accept the result, she and China will then say the Ph Senate is not honoring the result of the test they suggested in the first place. Pulling a 'they're just harassing me' card will have more weight in her favor than before.
If the result is in China's favor, they're going to use that up to the last drop. But if the result isn't in their favor, they're going to dismiss it like what happened in the Hague ruling.
