kpop songs from the 3rd generation! in this video i will show you songs released in the time period of 2015-2019. The numbers dont rlly mean anything, so if a song is #049 and another is #020 doesn't mean one is better than another. This is pure nostolgia, hope you like it!

im gonna put the explanation here because im tired of arguing w people.
Songs like icy latata hann love bomb love4eva are included because they were released at the time 3rd gen groups were at their peak. Most 3rd gen stans even remember when those songs first came out.
The whole point of this video is to feel one thing: nostalgia. And *early* 4th gen is something most 3rd gen stans experienced as well.
Yeah, but I don't feel nostalgic the same with the 4th Gen songs like the 3rd...
I mean if i see Itzy /gidle/Loona
I'am feeling like "yeah the 4th Gen queens" ... But not "omg the 3rd gen nostalgia is here..."
BTW soloist from 2nd Gen groups should also not be included...
Infact I think that for example RV AND BP SOLOs that happened in 4thgen I consider 3rdgen, bc their style of music remember me their music... (3rd gen...)
@@George-ps4kw yeah I feel the same way, I feel more nastolgia with songs like Red Flavor, Dont Wanna Cry or songs that were released in the earlier part of the 3rd gen and not on the later/ start of 4th gen but I guess I do see how other people might feel nastolgia from that since we're already in 2022
ty for putting an explaination. I'm still fairly new to kpop so I was confused as to why 4th gen groups were there!
maybe change the title to "pov: 3rd gen nostalgia"
I feel bad for the people who missed the third gen of kpop
Yeah I feel bad for myself but I still know most of these songs so it was still somehow nostalgic for me
Fr because 3 generation was my memory of kpop i knew like almost alll these songs
PLSS so true even i joined when 4th gen was starting 😭 like 2019 😭
same
I officially joined at 2020 but I listened to some songs from 2016-2018
I think a lot of people feel nostalgic about this generation because with the 3rd the most of the people start to listen kpop, I'm in a community in discord and lit everyone start listen kpop with this generation :)

THE era of kpop. Third gen groups, youll always be famous and relevant.
IKR?
EXACTLY
This hurts🤧
This comment makes me sad knowing that many third gen groups now are either inactive or disbanded
so truee
You forgot Love scenario, the epitome of 3rd gen peak. Almost everyone know that song, it still brings massive nostalgia even now.

Ikr i thought it would be at #1 but wasnt included at all
Ah yes! Love scenario is almost Korea's national anthem

Yup
Yeah
Why mamamoo is not here.. they are 3rd gen vocal queens like another groups ..
Literally what I was thinking
i think this is made by a 4th gen stan lol

@@tomtamjimjams I was expecting piri or deja vu so seeing you and I threw me off xD This is prolly what resonated with them in 3rd gen, because I was surprised on not finding any mamamoo or monsta x songs
OMG BUT DO Y'ALL REMEMBER 2017?? UGH THE NOSTALGIA 😩
2017-2018-2019 literally the best time of my life and kpop in my opinion, just iconic
The time i discovered TT and got literally obsessed with it , i listened to TT atleast once everyday , it was my daily routine lol
2017 IS LIKE THE BEST YEAR IN THE WORLD FOR ME 😩🤌
2017, 2018 and 2019 was the best..I miss that era so much 😭
I got into kpop in 2017 and all I can say is Nothing can beat 3rd gen songs. Their so iconic
there wasn't a single song on this list that i didn't know. i feel like we took that era of kpop for granted tbh, every release was fresh, nothing sounded like it was made by a tin can. those days were fun! it's a shame i got into kpop right at the tail-end of 3rd gen tho, i would've loved to experience it more.

Yeah, 2019

@@jungkookwillbethedeathofme no they have a point..4th gen's "experimental music" is basically just noise.. they've started focusing on dancing and visuals, vocals and th actual music feels 'optional'

I rarely listen to what the 4th generation does. I think when the 3rd generation ends, I'll end up leaving kpop instantly
@@h3llena._ yeah me too
@@h3llena._ same
Tbh, Idgf bout 4th gen, funny how they just started and I already got bored with majority of their songs, they really ain't give nostalgia.
@@h3llena._ this is a big change i cried for gfriend and i will keep crying for the end of 3rd gen but i will keep listening to kpop cause i love to see the evolution 🛐
For me 3rd gen song type is mostly cheerful, not using too much edm,or trap song, etc (sorry, idk the name 😭),not too loudy, not having too much break dance and easily remember.
YES YES AND YES! I completely agree, I miss this fun cheerful era because T H I S IS THE ESSENCE OF KPOP...I'm tired and bored all this break dance and trap all the time, looks like american pop.
@@h3llena._ AGREED.gen 3 have so many concept and the song can easily remember than gen 4.Even American pop song nowadays don't have a breakdance
Yesss, I'm getting tired of the music 4th gen groups make 😔
The only group that gives me kind of the same feel as 3rd gen is stayc :]
All 4th gen music is starting to sound the same, I've already memorised the formula they use for all 4th gen songs. It's normally first verse, prechorus, chorus, second verse, prechorus, chorus, bridge/dance break, lastly the last chorus. And the thing is no parts of the songs stand out alot, maybe depending on the song it can sound good, but in general they're bland and it's hard to get into songs made by 4th gen groups because they sometimes don't stand out. Groups like stayc and itzy are those groups that stand out alot to me lol.
@@z.6480 You're really correct to explain my thought.Beside Itzy and StayC,Ive and GWSN are the only group who catch me lately.
this era will forever have a special place in my heart, the generation that introduced me to kpop in general. i’ll miss it so much, but sometimes things change and we have yo move on from certain stuff.
thank you 3rd gen for introducing me and many others to kpop. a legendary era with many legendary groups. we had our ups and downs, but it was worth it to get to know most of these groups and be there to see them grow and even some disbanding.
we love you, and welcome 4th gen
(…maybe this is a little too dramatic over a song playlist of songs around 3rd gen)
Tbh no matter how big all these future groups get we’ll all know if it wasn’t for 3rd gen they wouldn’t be half as big as they are
If it wasn't for 3rd gen groups Kpop wouldn't be the same. Kpop feels so fresh while listening to 3rd gen songs especially the songs released in 2018, 2017 and 2016
It was really the peak, and now we know how some 2nd gen stans felt 😂
@@raefblox2138 true :')
@@raefblox2138 Yeah but most of them were toxic and still are
I felt like 3rd gen was much more peaceful and calm. Like, the songs in 3rd gen weren’t too little or too much, unlike 4th gen. Don’t get me wrong, some songs in 4th gen were great, but some songs weren’t considered iconic for me. But every song in 3rd gen is considered as iconic for me just because of the fact they were simple and that’s made them so good.
Yes I totally agree with you
Exactly this would offend someone but the songs aint music they just random noises put together?
4th gen is a lot of noise music. definitely not for everyone, can personally only stomach a few as well
Funny thing is, this is exactly what every 2nd gen stan says about their gen. Peaceful, calm, less fanwars, better quality music, etc., and for them (most of them) the 3rd gen is already too much, and more toxic than the 2nd. Of course, this is also how 4th gen stans would think of their own gen, and how their gen is so much better than the 5th one, and so on.
And because they actually had a vibe to them
These songs may be mixed of 3rd and 4th gen songs BUT we can't deny the fact that us 3rd gen stans enjoyed all of these! What I missed on that era is how every kpop fan (regardless of who they stan) just loved kpop and literally genuinely enjoyed these songs. A lot of 4th gen fans (baby kpop fans) "avoids" listening to other kpop group that they don't stan which is sad because they are missing out a lot of good songs (or they just really hasn't discovered yet). Unlike before, there are fans who only love one group but still listens and acknowledges other kpop groups.
some of these were released during 4th gen but they are all 3rd gen artists!
@@katpat-rice I'm not sure but I think itzy, idle, fromis_9, and loona are considered as 4th gen artists
@@staycaratengene6999 Yes they are 4gen. Itzy was even put in lists of the most promisings 4 gen acts
I mean who really cares if the 4th gen fans only listen to the groups they stan. As long as they're enjoying the songs it should be fine. Nothing wrong
Oh my god thats so true all my friends who are into 4th gen or just new to kpop tend to only listen to the group they stan. They literally have no idea about other grouos or songs.
i'm getting nostalgic of a time i wasnt even a kpop stan :')
Same😅💖
Ikr!!!
ikr
Same. Even if I started stannig kpop from 2020 I find myself enjoying 3rd gen songs more than 4th gen. I don't want 3rd gen groups to disband😭😭 (but sadly they have to)
Must suck to be you can’t relate
You know that vibe 3rd gen has? Groups may probably have different genre and styles but THE VIBE THEY ALL SHARE??!?! Listen to a song and u immediately csn tell its 3rd gen
Exactly they all have something that sets them apart from 4th gen but idk what it is.
Exactly my thoughts !! 3rd has just a different vibe like , sometimes I just listen to some random songs on shuffle but you can totally guess which are 3rd gen ( even if I've never heard it )
It's probably because a lot of the songs are influenced by the future bass genre :D Somewhat like Flume? that style is pretty neat.
I know EXACTLY what you tried to say. Only we can remember.
@@davidkonevky7372 I think it's becoz the kpop style was still there....now 4th gensongs are heavily western influnced and tiktok focused that the specialty of kpop being its own unique pop genre is kinna washed out. Some of them are nice but I get bored of it real quickly.
I got into k-pop in 2016 and remember thinking I was getting into it so late, but now I just feel a bit old :')
You got into K-Pop earlier than I ever could have. I hopped onto the K-Pop train late 2019.

My sister got into kpo in 2015 and got me into it in 2016, and we both feel the same way! I alao feel like I took 3rd gen for granted. I obviously knew there were two gens before 3rd, but for some reason never considered that eventually 3rd gen artists/style of songs would start to slowly fade when 4th gen came about. I wish I appreciated 3rd gen more :(

i’m sure there’s one out there. probably just search “3rd gen songs” and it should be there
lets be real 4 gen is amazing but mostly or even you might have known kpop by 3 gen. 3 gen concepts were easy to relate, though 4 gen concepts are awesome but 3 gen is untoucable , still can't belive 3 gen is coming to an end
Twice in 2019 is SO NOSTALGICCC that was their best era
This whole thing reminded me when it was summer time and i was still getting into k-pop because bts was getting famous internationally and ddu-du-ddu-du,ko ko bop and bboom bboom was everywhere. It's actually kinda sad how fast time has passed.Although im in love with 4th gen groups,I will forever miss the peek of 3rd gen kpop when there was no pandemic and everyone was happy and actually enjoying everything.
The summer of 2017 was very memorable for me. I could really feel the summer with the kpop songs that were released around that time. Ko Ko Bop (Exo) Red Flavor (Red Velvet), Likey (Twice) We Like (Pristin) Bingle Bangle (AoA) etc, I think I'm gonna cry with nostalgia
Yes, I don't see many people talking about it but the pandemic really changed everything, I hope in the future kpop is reeaally enjoyable like before, again 😅
Duh, I really hate how pandemic brought so many Immature people into Kpop, they're just ruining it!
@@h3llena._ omg same 😭
Same I got into KPOP during that time and these songs were everywhere
Eventhough i started stanning in 2021. Ill miss 3rd gen. Y'know, when everyone wasnt trying to outdo eachother constantly. And when i didnt have to make 50% of kpop songs "grow on me" for me to like them.
Like yeah, those types of groups still exist, theres just so much less of them. And i know kpop was always an extremely competitive industry. But now it feels too competitive for me to like it.
Like just look at 3rd gen vs 4th gen choreo for example. 3rd gen has some complex choreos, like Gfriend was right there. But 4th gen is like absurdly complex, like bone breaking complex. Im still hopeful for the future though. Not only in choreo btw.
And if i dont keep up with newly debuting groups and comebacks i feel like im missing out on the fun.
Point is 3rd gen good. Iconic era for kpop.
Im gonna give you this piece of advice as someone whos been here for 3 ish 4 years. 4th gen can be kinda bad sometimes but try and enjoy whatever gets put out and if its not your type than let it go because its really just kpop at the end of the deal. Im not telling you to take the fun out of it but really trying to make yourself like stuff in it is when it can get boring. After all my years here I just listen for fun and enjoy every second of it
@@jungkookskombucha3821 thank you for the advice!! I appreciate it a lot :D
i miss easier choreographies, just for fun!! it's so boring all about competition all the time, it seems kpop has lost its fun!
Oof, I'm stan since 2016, it's really weird seeing people stanning after 2020, cuz that was when Kpop went downhill in quality.
yes yes and yes. i miss it for these reasons
the amount of nostalgia in this era is insane.
this era will always be so special to me. it was when i really got into kpop and i was in a good place.
most of my favourite groups are from this era. there will always be some kind of sentimental value to 3rd generation kpop for me.
I can feel my old self listening to Gfriend, Twice and Red Velvet songs plus listening to it with the current vibe and season just feels so different, I’ll be missing them.
Twice and rv are still around but why am i still missing them like how I'm missing gfriend? 3rd gen is just a nostalgic kpop era for me
i took a break from following kpop from early 2019 until this year, and it's kind of bittersweet to really know that this era is now over cause i'm still singing these songs in my head every day
that's to say nothing about times earlier than that. in my heart, everybody by shinee will always feel new and exciting
same here :')

I just feel that 3rd gen idols interacted with eachother freely at first but it just went downhill 🤧😫
Nope they didn’t. They were just as scared of scandals lol. Second gen had it way worse too
@@katierina31 It wasn't as bad, gen 4 has been an increasing toxic fandom here there and everywhere. Dating rumours, etc etc, they were more free, if a mistake was made, it would have some critics but even most fans now would criticise it as if it's the end of the world. That's immature 12 year olds being introduced to kpop for you.
Second gen had it the worst, you cannot convince me otherwise I’m sorry 😭 The scandals were handled VERY poorly. Have we all forgotten what happened when Taeyeon and Baekhyun were reported to have been dating back in 2013?? That wasn’t even the worst that happened.
As someone who has been following K-pop since 2010s, everything was worse. Idols were still not allowed to interact with the opposite gender before. They are friendlier now because they are older, along with their fans. Nobody’s going to cancel them for looking in the same direction, but they definitely would have 10 years ago lol.
(Edited comment to avoid spam)
@@katierina31 did you not see rumours about Miyeon and that she slept with Jungkook because she looked at him? Wonyoung was hated because she touched Hyunjins shoulder, dating rumours with Lisa and Jungkook, IU is hated because Jungkook said that's his type. Yuna has been through dating rumours from the same drink that another person had ordered. Lia, Wonyoung, Giselle have all experienced lazy accusations because they don't look 'strong while dancing' Momo and Heechul fandoms hated either idols because they were dating. Chen was deeply hated for wanting a family, people are defending Kris Wu because hes handsome. Like I'm sorry but, these 12 year olds need to calm down. They nitpick everything now, a bit ago they could somewhat even look at each other and it was considered normal, but now everyone expects way too much.
@@hc_vonhagen6186 these weren’t as bad as what happened to second gen idols. People were way more aggressive back then compared to now, even though what’s happening now is bad. I’ve been in K-POP for ages to know this. You can search up the worst second gen scandals and know the harassment idols had to endure because of mere speculations. And a lot of times, companies didn’t do that great with protecting their groups!! Do not compare what second gen idols had to endure because they literally had to endure the worst forms of treatment so that you third and fourth gen idols could do so much as just walk.
Second gen idols (especially WOMEN) literally were bashed for just being women. You don’t see that now because the fans who did that ages ago are now old. Cancel culture back then may not have been going on at a faster rate (because there literally isn’t 9000 groups debuting per year compared to now) but the intensity of how it happened will literally cost anyone’s careers. Y’all are literally forgetting what SNSD had to go through? LMFAOOO. I’m not going to try to prove this to a new K-pop stan.
Knetz back then had the benefit of anonymity. They literally held witch hunts on things that had very little evidence, and even persecuted people just because of a slight difference in opinion. Cancel culture was not rampant because of the fewer amount of groups, but that gave each of them a bigger responsibility to hold.
I DIDNT IMAGINE 'YOU AND I' BY MY GIRLS 'DREAMCATCHER' WOULD BE ON NUMBER 8 LOL. ANYWAY PLEASE SUPPORT THEM ON THEIR UPCOMING COMEBACK THIS 12TH OF APRIL WITH THE SONG "MASION" 💗

Exactly. Back when u actually had to have talent and not let ur face do all the work. Not hating on 4th gen but now it all depends on visual and copy and paste songs.

"3rd gen only gain popularity easily because of the hard work that has already been done by the 2nd generation and that's a fact" it'll only repeat..
don't get me wrong i am a 3rd gen fan
@@h3llena._ its true 4th gen groups gained fans easier because of the massive popularity of 3rd gen groups internationally (like bts, bp and twice), but remember that they still worked just as hard. I think its actually harder for members to debut in the kpop industry now compared to before because of the continuously increasing standards in all singing, dancing and visuals. The average age of debut is becoming younger and younger but somehow they are required to be perfect and flawless- they are all immensely talented and that is definitely one of the reasons why they are gaining so much popularity, not just because of 3rd gen efforts.
I think 3rd gen will be relevant again during 5th gen. 2nd gen had its moments that were a bit tacky in its early days. However by 3rd gen kpop had a bit more polished aesthetic that did have its trends. And yes early 3rd gen days are the "embarrassing past" for the groups that debuted then, but so are the early days of every group.
The other thing is that 3rd gen was more into traditional musical aestheticism. Experimentation was still made to sound pleasing. That resulted in overall easy on the ears songs. You cannot deny that even noise music back than were a lot easier on the ears. 4th gen is steadily approaching the primitive and making music intentionally goes against traditional musical aestheticism - little to no melody, a bunch of random sounds combined to sound rough, vastly different sections patched up together. Ah, expressionism made a comeback after a century it seems.
Although this video doesn't have a single MAMAMOO song, 3rd gen for me is the time where I actually came across my ult group!😊 My 3rd gen Queens!

Love Scenario by iKON in 2018 was the best thing ever. This song literally blew up the K-pop world. And also remember how it went viral in tiktok and how it was also said that almost all the young children in South Korea sang to this song?!
Why does some of y’all in these comments and everything act like 3rd gen was 26 years ago? They was good and bad songs from every gen, and yes 3rd gen is iconic it’s true and to be honest, if it wasn’t for the HUGE impact 3rd gen had, being the ones most responsible imo for the immense blow up of kpop internationally, 3rd gen would have ended years ago
Maybe but it's been like what.... 3 years since 3rd Gen ended? That's enough time for some people to feel nostalgic, especially if they feel disappointed by 4th Gen kpop.

i think dramarama, missing you, egoistic and HIP deserved a place in the video atleast
EXO ushered 3rd Gen. I'm always grateful I stanned during that time. The groups in 3rd Gen are Awesome
even though 3rd gen wasn’t too long ago I still feel nostalgic listening to the songs especially red flavor bc that was the first kpop song I listened to KNOWING that it was kpop (p.s ty my cousin for showing me kpop)
I also got into kpop in 2018. BTS we're my first group. I don't stan them anymore but they'll always have a special place in my heart because they were the first group I've ever loved and they introduced me to the fascinating industry that is kpop. Every generation will have it's time but the memories I have from 3rd gen will stay with me and I hope I will look back on them fondly.
Me too...
my favourite time in the kpop community was when literally EVERYONE was dating. heechul and momo. kai and jennie. jihyo and kang daniel. hyuna and edawn (tho they're still together). it was a MESS.
This didn't age well 😭 even hyuna and Dawn 💔
Idk might be nostalgia goggles but 3rd gen Kpop just different. LIke literally bop on bop on bop
The golden era of Kpop and now most of the idols are in military and also fans are busy with their daily tasks.
But those years will remain as a huge part in my life
Where is mamamoo tho😭 they are the reason why I fell into the kpop hole
Literally I thought there would at least be one song but no. They were one of the most iconic groups of 3rd gen and strongest vocalist
@@LMarie-ec6di Yes at least starry night for example
I became a stan when the 4th gen started (2019) but this video made me realize that I listen to a lot of 3rd gen (and gave me some new songs)
Truly the peek of actual KPOP
2:53 finally I remembered the name of this song..... kept playing it in my head but didn't remember what its name was or from which group....
literally one of the best song out there... gfriend never release such a bad song
@@모-i2w ifkr
ITS SO AMAZING
2nd gen was when it evolved, but 3rd gen honestly innovated so so hard. Like literally introduced so many people -- including me -- to this world of unparalelled dance, vocal and personalities.
the fact that almost all of these 3rd gen groups still have kpop in a chokehold shows how down bad we 3rd gen stans are and will always be for our faves... and how amazing the groups are as well
This era was my first kpop experience 😭🫶🏾
i first discovered k-pop when i was 11-12 and now being 17 and almost an adult... time really flies by.
Same thing here... triggers some serious nostalgia
This made me realized I am in the same situation girl ;; time flies
i started listening to kpop at 14 and i just turned 19 its so crazy time flew
Why did hearing fancy make me cry?
I cried when it was released.
Agh- the nostalgia from hearing all these songs again is just getting to me :'D
I always feel like crying whenever I think about the 3rd Gen of Kpop because it is slowly fading away as most 3rd gen groups are disbanding and are leaving behind their fandoms. They were the people that made kpop what it is now and without them kpop wouldn't have been what it us now. I'll miss their energy, their personalities, their freedom to atleast look at other idols but now we will never get them back.
April of 2019 was probably the greatest month in K-Pop history when we had K-Pop powerhouses BTS, TWICE, BP, IZ*ONE, etc all releasing songs in the same month and all of them bops.
I still remember when BWL, Fancy, KTL and Violeta were all competing for music show wins.
Gosh I have distinct memories attached to all these... It sure was fun being a 11 to 14 year old obsessed with kpop. Love all theses songs but have definetely grown away from obsessively keeping up with kpop.
I was 14 when i started listening to kpop during this era now im 19 thats so wild to think about
I really miss the 3rd gen, when the award shows were fun and we actually were always looking forward to the awards and voting for our faves. Idols supporting and enjoying other idols performances. There were almost no songs which I didn't like from the 3rd gen in the year 2017-19.
Also literally all the 3rd gen idols were memes, they made me laugh so much when I was having a hard time. Thanks you, I can't name all the idols and idol groups or else the list won't stop😅.
No matter how much 4th gen grow popular and successful, 3rd gen gave us the greatest memories and we will always cherish them😭😭❤
i miss this gen in one stage 😭❤️
sent this to a 4th gen stan that was rude and calling 3rd gen generic, acting like their favs really arent here lol.
update: they didn't respond 😂
The fact that some groups were already disbanded or breaking up kinda hurt my heart tho
although these years where the height of 3rd gen, 3rd gen debut dates are abt 2012-2017
Some of these songs aren’t even from 3rd gen
@@sunnygirl7669 yeah, that’s why i say it… a lot of 4th gen debut and first comeback
@@clairdeloona yep btw are you French
@@sunnygirl7669 oh the name? it’s based on a classical music piece called clair de lune by debussy. so, no i’m not french, but my name is!
read the description.
My god, this brings back so many memories!!
I become a Kpop Stan in 2015. This video makes me emotional 😭
Me too
same
this is so nostalgic.. I first listened to kpop in 2016 and it’s such a throwback to listen to these classics
the best era and gen ever I don't make the rules
2018-19 was the last best years in Kpop, music-wise, imo
the amount of red velvet here im sobbing
I feel like 3rd gen songs are actual music and 4th gen songs are just soundtracks for a performance, if that makes sense
Can’t believe there wasn’t a single Monsta x song in this compilation. They are a huge part of 3rd gen
more of a 2nd gen to 3rd gen Stan I can't keep up with how to pronounce the 4th gen names it's like a whole math equation
this is so nostalgic omg you hit the feels :'))
3rd gen >>>>>
we sound like the 2nd gen stans who would say the same thing about 2nd gen vs 3rd gen back then but like.. i kinda get it now LOL
I'll really miss 3rd gen, this was like a dream that went by so fast. As 3rd gen groups start to retire, all we'll have of them is memories and songs. I really don't find 4th gen as good as 3rd gen, 3rd gen will always have a special place in my heart. I'll always remember all those memories that I made, those laughs, those sad moments, the times k-pop helped me with my mental health, I'll take them with me to my grave.
Thank you 3rd gen, for being with us, and keeping us happy. Welcome 4th gen, I hope you continue our happiness and stay with us.
I'd argue that 3rd gen was much more creative and experimental yet uniquely likeable and catchy without being too annoyingly repetitive or too 'heavy' on the music production side as 4th gen releases are. Generally songs released from the 3rd gen had more musical sense and ingenuity (although some 4th gen songs can be likeable). Nowadays groups generally are chasing the trends of fast tempos, annoyingly repetitive lines and edm that has become too generic. Thats why when I first started listening to kpop in early 2019 (Twice at the time), I was hooked. I miss the charm of the songs back then- will 4th gen groups recover some of it back?
i just remember this very specific time of my life where i would just spend my days listening to kpop and learning the choreographies with my friend, she moved away and we lost contact but it was such a good time, i want to cry so bad, everything felt simpler and i had no worries, i was 13 going to 14 and this year i’m gonna be 18, crazy how time flies so fast
A lot of these songs came out when a lot of 3rd gen stans weren't even aware 4th gen was beginning tbh so even if technically some are 4th gen songs they are so early in 4th gen I didn't even notice the change till recently. Like I vividly remember most of these songs coming out like a while ago.
The 3rd gen was the best era of kpop😭
I started being a Kpop fan on 2017, and it's just so nostalgic remembering even when I was when most of these came out, I just love 3rd gen so much
Notice how half of the songs in my favorite kpop songs of all time playlist are here :'D
How else can I put this…
3rd gen is when you could feel the POP in kpop. Like just the pop. The vibe of it, the joy, the good energy. It’s hard to describe, but it was ICONIC.
it’s so crazy to watch this, it feels so nostalgic but also I literally knew every single song, damn I’m gonna miss 3rd gen, feels like some of the best times of my life
1:42 energetic brings me such summer vibes nostalgia!
I used to love kpop back in these days, I'm not into anymore. but still a good memory thing.
I’ve been a K-pop stan since 6-7 years old (mainly 2ne1) but stopped then got into K-pop again year 2016. BROO 2015-2019 WAS THE BEST ERA OF K-POP! The vibe, emotions, magic, and overall memories during those days is unbeatable. I hope my multiverse is still in 2015 and still experiencing this kind of K-pop.
if I could stop time, I would be in a time rift between 2012 - 2019, beginning and peak of 3rd generation, and before the pandemic.
pure nostalgia :( i miss those times
back when there isnt much solo stans
i remember when a good amount of these songs came out, and the excitement was so fun. It's like every new song was a new hobby, a new thing to rant and rave about and share with others. good times :')
No offence but as much as I love a lot of the songs in this video half of these aren’t 3rd gen..if you wanted to make a 3rd gen song video you could make it with Actual 3rd gen groups
Agree most of them aren't even from 3rd Gen
I think he/she went for songs released during 3rd gen instead of songs by 3rd gen artists.
@@vinnie7070 songs during 3rd gen makes no sende
@@sunnygirl7669 I'm just pointing out what I think the intent was, not saying if it was a good idea or not.
@@vinnie7070 4th gen starts in 2018, anything after 2018 is 4th gen. Groups like stray kids and ateez debuted in 2018 and are considered 4th gen so some of these songs and artists aren't considered 3rd gen
i really enjoyed this video and the nostalgia it brought me! i'm just really surprised that for ikon, killing me was chosen and not love scenario?? this song was everywhere, everyone even korean gp knew it, it even ended up on some local news outside of korea, it was like you couldn't escape it lmao. i was never an ikonic(?) but i love this song a lot
back when singers are actually singing, not talk-rapping or covered by sound effects
i became a kpop stan since 2015 and i truly think 3rd gen was still the best gen in kpop
I also became kpop stan in 2015. I still got some songs from the 2nd gen and followed some groups, just like i'm trying to give the 4th gen a chance.
I can say that the 3rd generation is the best ever. It was just on point!
the things i would do to go back to this period of time
it was the best time 2 be alive in the k-pop community
This is lacking a lot imo... 3rd gen peak was in 2015-2018 so why is there almost no exo and no mamamoo, monsta x, ikon, winner, kard, bol4, aoa, astro, block b nor vixx?
