As a Badger fan … this is a huge loss. USC has added a supremely energetic and charismatic young talent evaluator and acquirer. We’ve fallen sharply on the field. He was a bright light giving us hope at least from an uptick in recruiting and portal work. Ugh. He was never going to stay forever

If you are going to operate a professional football team or scholastic professional football team, you need strong operational leaders beyond the coaching staff. USC will have both, which should deliver maximum results. USC has the resources to expedite the best.

I’m so excited for our future. The past two seasons have sucked and we needed a jolt like this. We have a stellar front office and it’s going to translate on the field.

There’s no limit to what they can have in the front office so there’s no need to stop. And we are about to sign AJ Tuitele on the 5th all thanks to our new administration. Also signing day for 2026 so no need to be upset over great news.

@ I wouldn’t say we had a spending problem. It’s a problem of knowing the market for any player on the roster and where we can afford to go to. That’s why it’s important to have a great GM. We definitely low balled Pregnon according to the market value that he got with Oregon. Have to have our GMs know the market and when to spend and when to let guys go. Retension is number 1 though. Pregnon should have never been allowed to leave with us matching offers.
@@chimi_chongo Yeah the GM has to know our budget and our priorities, and unfortunately Pregnon was a huge priority. It was great that we actually didn't pay for the Branches and Duce. I'd rather have Lemon and Lane any day plus we saved some $ for the 2 D-Linemen, Ramsey, Bishop, the center, and we'll see about DJ.

Need to add a least 2 LBs and 1 olinemen, wrs are fine. USC has a bunch of olinemen going into their second and third year need to see if they can play.
Just got a LB last week and we may get a commitment tomorrow on signing day for the 2025 class

There’s only one GM. Chad Bowden, we are hiring away other peoples GMs. That’s why it’s a big deal.
Emerick was replaced by Bowden a long time ago. Emerick is chief of staff. All the other former GM’s all came to USC to work for Bowden because of their relationship with him
