I’m a huge fan of Nutiden myself, and have one sweater started with this beautiful yarn. I love your podcast and those lovely designs you’re knitting! 🩵
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! Maybe it's more about the feel of the fabric I created by holding two strands together for me then. I can't really pinpoint why I am just not really happy with the fit.
I don't normally approve of animals on knitting podcasts , but your 'behind the scenes, or rather under the scene ' sounds made me laugh aloud ! Your advice aout adding silk mohair to 100% wool for socks is something I will use. As a new suscriber, I am so plaesed to have found you !
What a coincidence! It was such an awesome, unforgettable trip for us! ❤ But we were wondering the whole time, how do y'all deal with the heat during the summer months? Since it was still so hot in October - which was actually very nice for us, coming from the cold, gloomy German fall weather - it surely must be blazingly hot in the summer?!
Beautiful podcast. Your dog’s contributions were hilarious. I needed it following our US election results. 😢 Helpful discussion on the Maren. Your projects and colors are lovely.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and kind words! 😊 I hear you - I generally strive to free myself from worries about matters that I cannot directly influence. But it is for sure more of an aspiration of mine, it doesn't also work out.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! 😊 I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the podcast. I am very much looking forward to casting on with some of the Sonder yarns. But I think I need to finish at least one project first...
Your Maeron sweater looks so beautiful, it’s a piece of art! So many wonderful yarns, I would love to try them 😍 Does Saona yarn softens with blocking? I really love the texture and colors, but it’s quite rustic, I had a chance to touch it in the yarn shop. How do you feel it next to skin ?
Thank you so much for your kind words! ❤ To be honest, I found that Saona was the softest when it was still in the ball. When I started knitting with it, it definitely felt less soft. Blocking didn't change much (with regards to the softness). I don't mind wearing it next to the skin but I am not sensitive towards rustic yarns at all.
Thank you so much for your comment and the suggestion. I agree, it looks very obvious in the video. In real life, however, I did hardly notice the imbalance of the height of the contrast color at the neckline. I must have messed up when I picked up the stitches for the collar. 🙈
Those Twins Who Knit Episode 17 has a shorts pattern near the end that have cute ties. Don't worry about the puppy interruptions. Just be careful what he chews on!
Thank you so much! I know which one you mean, that's a really cute pattern indeed. Luckily we are more or less past the phase where she chews on various things. She knows really well by now which items are her toys and what she is not allowed to chew on. 👍

Thank you so much for your lovely comment, this makes me so happy to hear! 🙃
That BFL in blue that you dyed is gorgeous! 😍
Do you mean the BFL fiber that I spun? I agree, it's totally gorgeous. But I didn't dye this one myself, I purchased it from WollRheinheit.
I think your sweater is stunning, and the fit is the close to. perfect

Hello I just found you and totally enjoyed all your projects. Sonder Yarn Co is one of my favorites as well. Lovely podcast.

Lovely sweater. I would duplicate the stitch in blue at the neckline to balance it.
Super podcast. Thank you.

Wow, I was just at Hill Country Weavers last weekend (I live in Austin though…). Glad you had a great time.
What a coincidence! 🙂 And how lucky you are to have such a lovely yarn store local to you!
