Thanks Cruiseman! I had the same problem and used your video to fix my problem. Just FYI, the tab on the left of the TPMS grey plug releases it from the frame of the bike making it easier to disconnect the plug! I have large hands and I was fighting it for a few and realized that the tab was a release tab. It made it a breeze to disconnect and reconnect after the splicing. You helped me so I wanted to share that tip! Thanks for all of your videos on the 2012 GL 1800.
Cruiseman I just did this. I’m putting you in my Will for showing me this and keep me from having to stare at that damn yellow light anymore! 😄
Wow! How's your heart? :)
@@cruisemansgarage Request: How To Reset The SRS Airbag Light On A Honda Goldwing.
Thanks Cruiseman! The video was just what I needed to disable that annoying light on my 2012 wing! Thanks!!🎉🎉🎉
For the past 20,000 miles I’ve been staring at that light. Batteries, sensors and just about everything else on the planet couldn’t fix that one. Thank you sir for helping me get my sanity back! Awesome video and worked great! 😎
Thanks for sharing
I just did this the other day. To unplug I removed the harness from the stay and made it much easier to unplug .
The video was awesome. It took care of that TPMS light on my 2014 Goldwing. Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
I did this a long time ago after coming home from a trip on my 2012, Battery went bad and stopped at 5 dealers in ark on way home no one had a replacement, so I came home and hard wired it together, People don't think but every dealer does this when they turn bike into trike as rear trike tires don't have tpms, Awesome vid thanks again.
Awesome video. This was a lifesaver for me because my Tpms light has been coming on ever since I changed my tire and broke the sensor so to disable it was the right thing to do. Thanks again for showing us how to do this.Great job!!
Thank Shipmate. Funny it came on after the local Honda dealer put on a new set of tires (3rd set). On my 2010. Yes, not a peep for 14 years! But knew it was best to just cancel out the system vice servicing it. Thank for the walk thru, took about an hour even with baker wings. Thank agian
Under the seat left side of frame you can find the wire harness and use a fork style wire connector to reset the TPMS in the event the batteries are still good but the system just needed a reset. There is a video on exact location on you tube.
My tpms light has been on ever since I bought my '09 last summer. I check pressures regularly anyways because I've never had any sensors on previous bikes so it isn't an issue if it doesnt work. I just ordered an air filter so think I will do this while I have the bike stripped naked just for the filter change. Thanks for the vid!
As Richard Drake stated below, it is easier to separate the wire connector by first unclipping the connector from the frame. You can disconnect the connector from the frame in a few seconds and then you can pull the entire harness and TPMS unit out of the bike and separate the connector in a few seconds. The clip for the connector is on the left side of the connector. You move the tab to the left and the entire connector lifts right out of the bike.
Worked Great on my 2009 Goldwing. Thanks.
Thanks Cruise Man just did my 2012 got tired of that light going to buy the Fobo
Just did my goldwing good video worked great thanks.
many thanks! worked like a charm!
For my interest only. I have only replaced my stock tires with stock tires but noticed the light came on after hard bumps only and reset with the key cycle. What causes the light to come on? Is is simply different tires? Different rims? I have a lot less lights pop up since I upped the front pressure a little as per the dealer. Thanks!
can't find the link to get those connectors.
Hey Cruiseman Are 😢he wires he same for the 2009 gl1800
Cannot see the link for the Waygo? splice part. Can anyone help me source this part? Thanks!
How do you do this on a 2010 the same way?
Hey Chris, can you add this video to the streaming video series? Thanks Gerald
Good idea.
Done.
Cruiseman's Garage thanks
Have you got videos on how to remove all plastic from Goldwing 2018 tour?? Something like Fred use to sell
Hello Sir…great video…I’ve similar challenge with TPMS light come on and off, even I did ensure the tyre pressure.
If follow this procedure, will the low press tyre lamp (next to it) still function, means still giving signal while low tyre pressure?
Please advise ✌🏼🤠
Hello all…kindly need your advise
How do I disconnect the 'trunk open' display? I adjusted the hooks and now it closes, but the 'trunk open' display won't reset and I can't use anything until I get it resent or cut it off!!!!
I have never had that happen. Maybe a bad switch in the trunk latch?
I took my Goldwing to Daniel Bell in Pollocksville, N.C. he's a Goldwing god. He took 6 min to discover that the right side 'hood' was somewhat bent and tweeked it ever so slightly and boom!!! Did I feel like a fool!!! I adjusted those hooks twice, but never notice they were 'out of kilter', but his trained eye caught it. He was a Goldwing Drill Team rider and can make a Goldwing dance and knows them like the back of his hand. I got so bless with being led to him.
not hood, hook
@@claythomas7982 glad you got that fixed! Wonder how it got bent?
Cruiseman Can the tpms light be reset by re-assembling the cables as they were originally?
Thank you very much
Have not done that, but I would assume so, yes.
@@cruisemansgarage Thank you.
Do you have the steps to restore tpms system?
Unclipped connector n followed your vid n walla idiot lights out. Thks again.
how to program my goldwing remote
Do you have this video for 2018+?
Sorry, I do not.
@@cruisemansgarage is it possible to disable the TPMS on the 2018+ even if you don't have a video? I'm interested in using rideon tire sealant.
@@KareemHadee I do not know of a way to do it.

Mine does not flash-it reads 000
Why not just pull the bulb?
MUCH easier to take care of it at the module/connector side than pulling the cover on that dash for the bulb. 👍
Music is annoying!
I have a 2003 Goldwing and it does NOT have TPMS at all. Useless video.
Paul CF not useless for 2012-2017 owners.
for you maybe!!!
So obviously you did not have a yellow tpms light display. You are the one who wasted your time, TROLL.
@@cruisemansgarage Hey, if that's true then please explain yes do tell us why it says the video is for entertainment purposes only.
