I was unable to ride for about 3 months due to shoulder surgery & on my first ride, my TP light came on. I had already checked & adjusted the tire pressure, so thought I had a leak, but apparently, it was just the sensor system. I searched the internet & found your video, which solved my problem. Neither the dealer nor an independent Goldwing mechanic knew how to resolve the situation, so thank you very nuch for your video.
Bike always looks amazing. Those front brakes are a thing of beauty. TPMS diagnostic was on point and resolved as it should have. Ride safe and ride often.
Thanks for the video. My showroom new 2021 Tour has a TPMS light that stays on continually. Beautiful bike by the way. I think the 2020 GW black/red bagger is the most attractive model they've ever done.
I picked my new 2022 DCT Tour yesterday and as I rode it from the dealer the TPMS light was flashing but It resolved when the tire warmed up because as the tire warms up the pressure increased enough to satisfy the sensor. When I got home I increased the pressure on the front to 37 when it was cold and the back to 42. 1lb per tire doesn't make any difference to wear or grip but my TPMS goes out as u hit 17mph ish now. I think it's just sensitive and is calibrated a little high.
Thanks for this video. I bought a new Goldwing last Saturday and the TPMS light was staying on. But I followed your directions and it went out. Thanks!
When doing this procedure and going for a ride, you say the light should go off in a couple of minutes. When you turn the engine off and go for another ride, does the tpms light go on again, and you have to go through the same tire deflating, inflating procedure again ? Thank You. Safe Travels.
I just bought my 2020 Honda Goldwing DCT and the light came on on day 1. I would use your method. Thank you so much. What portable air compressor are you using? Thanks again.
Hello my friend, Congrats on the new ride. try what I did and the light turns off! this is the link to the compressor that you asked for. www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/motomaster-digital-road-home-inflator-0095206p.html
So it's just my tpms system light that's on, the low tire pressure light is not. Was that the exact issue for you? I'll be trying this tomorrow, thanks for the video.
It worked! Thanks for making this tip on how to fix this issue. It's not really a big deal, but they should really make sure the sensors are calibrated and the system is working before sending the sending the bikes out. Nice work again!
hey John, please excuse me for late reply. I bought it from Canadian tire but I'm sure you can find it in automotive section of any stores. here is the link. www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/motomaster-digital-road-home-inflator-0095206p.html

Sounds like a common problem. Mine is on also. Thanks for the fix, but Honda should put out a service bulletin on this issue for a permanent fix.
