Stop trying to be a cheapskate and take it to a shop! I'm not your mechanic! BTW, these videos show you what I did to fix "MY" bike! It shouldn't take a guy from a RUclips video to say, "Hey Moron, take your piece of crap to the dealer cause you cannot fix it!"
@@CarnellLuckettSr Judging from this video you ain't nobody's mechanic. BUT, if I run into anyone that wants to stick lights all over their bike, I'll send them your way. MORON! Besides, my bike is fine, just doing research. Go do your moonwalk now!
Mr. Luckett, THANK YOU SIR. I drained my compressor, pulled the stems from both tires. Just to be safe emptied the compressor one more time then refilled it, then filled the tires. Several hundred miles later, the TPMS light has remained off. So thanks for the great advice! Compressors may have filters to keep from putting liquid water in the tanks but the moisture in the air goes into the tire. So especially, when that air is cooled it again starts to become liquid and that's when it can screw up the TPMS..... The moisture, for me, was the issue, never the tire pressure gauges . I once bought three of the gauges at the same time (to put one in the truck, one in the car, one on the bike). I tried them all on the same tires and they varied as much as four pounds......
Fascinating. Tire gauges are notoriously inaccurate. But the TPMS light going out probably has more to do with changing the air. I had not thought of the moisture in the compressor tank. Here in the Midwest the hot humid summer air will result in lots of water in the tank. I will definitely give this a try as my local dealer said "about $230 to work on the TPMS...…" I"ve learned "about" means the starting point. Thanks Corneal
Thanks. Man i just bought mine this past saturday, right off the dealer the light was on..i asked the service person and said it will go away once you start driving it. I drove 100 miles from the dealer to my house. It did go away while on the highway but when restarted the light cam up again
My Brother, that seems like a bad battery or a battery that is dying. Not all Service shops know how to fix it because it requires a resetter tool to fix it. Here is another video I did on that subject: ruclips.net/video/1doB04ZBfXw/видео.html
I'm glad it worked for you, but!! From what I understand and experienced on my bike. The TPMS light will come on when there is a problem with the TPMS " system". When your tire is low on air pressure, you low air pressure icon light will come on (the flat tire looking light to the right of the TPMS light). Often when the TPMS light comes on, it's because of old batteries on the sensors. TPMS light, it's the system. Flat tire icon light, shows your running low pressure. If your TPMS light is on, showing a problem with the system,,,,,,I don't think your low pressure light will come on. 1. I'm curious if your TPMS light is still not coming on. 2. If your low pressure light EVER comes on?
Thanks for good response, several issues from different Wingers was reported and each had to solve the issue differently. One had taken his wing back to the dealer. I guess I was the lucky one, my system would only come on during the cold months for no reason come to find out after putting back to original valve stem (at one point I was using the tire balancing Beads, in which, you had to change out the valve stem) the original valve stem fixed the issue during the cold months.
Just got the bike back from dealership. They said they had to replace rear tire sensor. So far so good. light is still out. They said they replaced both sensors a few weeks ago. I think they lied to me. I guess its possible the sensor went bad twice in two weeks. Who knows for sure. Thanks again flash
Hello, I have a 2016 GL1800, will it be possible if you can tell me what type of Lights you have on your bike? I know you made a video about the tire pressure but your lights are amazing.
Flash, I followed your information step by step. It did not work for me. It was worth trying though. process of elimination. I got a good tire pressure gauge and valve remover out of the deal. That was worth it anyway. So bike is under warranty and I will take to the dealership first thing Monday Morning. Thanks for the video.
Hey, my brother, A couple of guys told me they had to take it to the dealer to get whole TPMS replaced, good idea to go ahead to the dealer, I got lucky "for a change" every winter I still have the same issue but only when it is cold outside, good luck.
The dealership had the bike for a week , last week. They told me they replaced both sensors and the module/brain. When I picked it up ,the light stayed off for about a mile, then went back on. I took it back to the dealer, he said he was contacting Honda because he did what it called for and the light came back on. He said friday that there was some sort of a part honda was sending them, and to bring it in on Monday. I seen your video and just wanted to give it a try first. Anyway, off to the dealership tomorrow morning. Thanks again.
It's a safety issue because if it is working correctly there is something wrong with your tire pressure. The first time it happened to me I had a very small nail stuck in my tire, just small enough to hold air for 2 or 3 days and then the light will come back on. I did not catch it until I pulled the tire completely off, I got lucky.
This is exactly what happened to me.. All along, I had 6 lbs low for years on my VTX and wondered why my rear tire was wearing too fast.. When I got my wing a few months ago, I had the light flashing and could not understand why as my gauge was saying I had enough air. That's when I decided to try another gauge a friend had and bingo. I was 6 low!
had new tires fitted and balance beads, after a couple of days tpms light came on and stays on,Honda dealer said the beads would be ok to use they were wrong.
This is one of the most useless videos ever! Why not just say make sure your tire gauge is accurate. 11 minutes of BS!

Just another Knuckle Head Rapper wanting mostly to show off his "Bling Lights " Completely useless video

the tires are holding air pressure. no leaks. I got it by the book 36 front.41 rear
Is this light a safety issue, or more of an idiot light ?

Which direction does the sensor point inside the wheel / rim?

Brother, I could not have said it any better.
