Hey ISP, I don't know if it still work on the current patch, but in the past, if you took control of your puppets troops, it would count for imposing martial laws on the dominions.
An easy fix for this would be a decision to create a pan African puppet state but apparently that's too difficult to think of for the PDX Devs. Like the tree ain't even bad it's just decolonising that sucks

I’m not talking California to Idaho levels of disparity. To this very day the farther you get from Moscow the lower the odds of housing even having internal plumping. Also several states underwent heavy Russification with massive amounts of ethnic Russians being moved into the area (by decree) to dilute the ethnic population enough to crush any possible movements for ethnic self rule. When this didn’t work, well you got the holodomor. Yes it was ethnically targeted, no it wasn’t unintentional.

If you want an acheesement have I got one for you. Assuming Direct Control. Starting as a minor power, assume faction leadership of the Allies, the Axis, or the Comintern. I cheesed this by playing as Bulgaria (but you could do it as Hungary or Romania (And even Slovakia too for extra pain) and joining the Axis by didn't get involved in any wars. I went down the "Peaceful Development" and "Bulgarian Integration of The Balkans" and got all of Yugoslavia and northern Greece for my troubles.
I spent my last playthrough making Bhutanese nukes and achieving total air superiority. And I joined the axis. And the Germans surrendered. And AI Finland conquered Moscow. That was kinda cursed.
It's crazy how I've seen like all of the a-z all of the achievement hunting the keisereich and other mods and still have no Idea on how to play hoi4 I have it, it's on my desktop I've played on easy mode a couple of times, still don't understand any thing that happens in my games.
For the demilitarized Germany achievement, I think you need to both demilitarize the Rhineland AND remove their factories (I think that's an option you can do in the peace conference (Yes, it's the option next to factory reparations)).
the joy of the manpower requirement: most of it, except for 10 more units you need to deploy. can be done by your own dominions. the not so joy: doing math to balance how many divisions and whose divisions go where
You can do commonwealth and then go Communist, the civil war is fixed or bugged, its pretty easy to do anyway if you do commonwealth first and do not rush all the communist focuses, only the ones that does not trigger the civil war.

ISP, I have the most cursed Germany Playthrough that I've been having fun with recently. The most optimal one I've found so far I hope you like aircraft carriers and planes cause that's what you're going to be building. First, delete your faction then begin justifying on the East Indies and Portugal. Take puppets and steal resource rights and ships over of all the Dutch and Portugese colonial holdings and the nations themselves, and make sure to take the Atlantic Islands and their respective Asian holdings for yourself as well. Next Justification is on Guangxi since Chinese United Front should've formed. Naval invade North China and rush to cut off the Japanese Ground forces from advancing, then take the coast as fast as you can, and grind out as close to 100 war parcip as you can while taking the rest of China, (make sure to build railways throughout china as you advance, it just makes it so easy). Once the China war is over (or basically over, whatever PP permits) justify on British Malaya, France should be in the Allies by now so get ready to naval invade Britain once the war starts: start getting a Belgium justification off. You should have invaded and capitulated Britain before your Belgium justification is done so now you have a free French war. (Also fun fact you can form NATO as Communist Germany) After this you can do whatever, an American Invasion is easy and a Soviet Invasion from China and Europe is even easier.
