30 years installing and now they come out with the cool stuff. Old manual and dozens of machines and styles over the years. Nothing that cool. The cat's meow!
I'm looking for work in Seamless Eaves-troughs, is their anyway to help understand the layout and important factors. To complete and improve in this, or is it hard to get used to working with seamless eaves-troughs?
Great video! I’ve had some issues with mine not running the proper length. It runs too much or sometimes not enough. Have you ever encountered this and do you have any ideas on why it does this sometimes
I'm planning on getting a KWM. 5 inch 6 inch combo, a little worried and skeptical on that Mitsubishi touch screen deal. What if it breaks? Are you depending on the touch-screen to run the gutter, or is there a manual switch you can override? so you don't have to type in the measurements every time. Also does yours have that smart Mark option? where it marks the gutter every 12 / 16 / 20 or 24 in.? I've been doing this for about 29 years & I always see new changes every year. Thank you for any info you may have.
do you drive around with the coils loaded i just got a machine they really stress that you should take them out i noticed you have 6x6 holding it up is there any in the middle or just front and back
These machines are very nice, the easy and comfortable of just pushing in numbers & miters + its made in the good ol U.S.A. I have a kwm but its nothing new, no fancy buttons for measuring &miters. Still runs good after all these years,it hangs up in the himmer box sometimes but it isn't anything I can't deal with. I do love the technology of the new generation but they sometimes are lacking the knowledge of what it truly means to " hang gutter" read a tape & use their brains learning a trade that is usually handed down from the last generation & so on. My father started his business over 50 years ago after he picked up the trade from his father (back when they used wooden ladders or tied his maw to the other end of the rope on the other side of the roof so paw wouldn't fall off the house hanging 10' sections of galvanized gutter) 😦 whatever it took to get the job done & right so you could earn enough to feed your family ( not to get rich) Over 20 years ago I started going with dad to the jobs learning all I could because one day I was going to have to depend on my knowledge & experience of this trade. 2 years since my father has passed 😢 and I still carry it on, its all i know.. so much has changed, u have new crews popping up daily that can't read a tape or say off dope or give a shit about the trade, the skill, the experience but can punch in numbers, put screws in any wicha way...& call it a day as they're heading to the dope zone or stuffing wads of cash in their pockets because thats mostly all they are in it for, they don't care about those customers, elderly on a fixed income, or the 1st time homeowners that are having problems with water in the basement when it rain...... it guess it poors. Thanks if ya made it this far, definitely didn't plan on the novel and family history/legacy vs. What's wrong with today. If u get made then u just don't understand yet but with time/experience u will. God bless, its past my bed time✌🤝🙏
I made a lot of stuff with my buddy as a kid we used one man's trash and built a lot of stuff together not bad for a five year old and a couple of engineers we had fun not bad for someone trash
I’m very disappointed! my husband purchased expensive machine with the touch screen brand new and a year and a half later the touch screen went out the touch screen is not covered by the warranty so we had to pay around $500 to get a new one and we still have to send the old one in the mail that’s not a good problem to have when you’re booked up for five months and you have to wait a couple weeks to get your machine running again if you do purchase the machine with the touchscreen make sure to purchase a couple extra screens so you don’t run into problem we had
I would like to know if the cut of the gutter was made with an internal saw.
Very cool! I actually start work at KWM next week, cool to see how it works.
How was working there?
Would you have ever had an issue with it Flipping breakers after it stops running gutter? TIA. New to this machine and need it to be running Monday.
Are you able to add the smart interface easily or does it need to be done at factory
