നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്തു പ്രധാനമായും 3 സാമ്പത്തിക മേഖലകൾ ആയി തിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു .പ്രൈമറി സെക്ടർ (agriculture,mining,fishing etc)സെക്കന്ററി സെക്ടർ (manufacturing,oil refining,energy production etc) tertiary സെക്ടർ (banking,hospitality,real estate etc its known as service secter).ഈ മൂന്ന് മേഖലയിൽ നിന്നുമുള്ള ആകെ ഉല്പാദന സേവന വരുമാനം കണക്കാക്കി ആണ് total GDP കണക്കാക്കുന്നത് .ഓരോ സംസ്ഥാനവും GDP കണക്കാകുന്നുണ്ട് അതിനെ SGDP(state domestic product)എന്ന് പറയുന്നു .

One doubt. Suppose Govt is giving salary of 25000 Rupees to the employee (G=25000 Rs), and the employee is spending say 5000 Rupees for some market purchase ( C=5000 Rs). When calculating GDP, it become 30000 Rs. Is it right? ( we are taking 5000 Rs twice?...doubt)
