1) Would’ve sounded better without those bowtie tips.
2) Replace the belts!
3) Get the timing dialed in ASAP!!
He could barely pull out on the road without it backfiring.
Also has the wrong bumpers! He has a 73-80 bumpers which this should have 81-87
I think the bowtie tips were choking out the exhaust and causing it to stall during the takeoff
@@Njderigno the tips aren’t causing that. It’s spitting and backfiring because the timing is off or he’s having carburetor issues.
These were still being driven, in the 90s, when I was born! Childhood and nostalgia, man! This truck will survive an apocalypse, man.

I haven't seen take off as good as that before. that noise isn't a serpentine belt it's his supercharger custom. fine tuned
Needs a h-Pipe and a tune up. I have the same noisy pulley problem with my 85 Silverado. But a serpentine belt conversion and fixed all of that. Something is definitely wrong with that truck. Could be the timing?

Note both fuel tanks appear boiled out n replaced. Outside of frame??..rather than relocate? Maybe some belt soap.
He started off and it sound like the rear end was locked up felt like his limited slip was locked up he then they replayed it and he still had problem with it he got rear end bad rear end
Original squarebody longbed kool but 3:21 that was a weak launch off adjust carberatur or bad pulley easy fix be awesome then probably would run smoother too.
Hey got a 17 Ram single exit. Removed the casket and replaced it with a Flowmaster 10 series but the feedback under no acceleration is gross. Do you have any suggestions?

Thing desperately needs a crossover pipe and 2.5"s. What a waste. And it needs a hell of a lot of drivetrain work. That rear end is done. Driveshaft is likely done. But hey, let's paint it first and put an exhaust on lol.
The rear end and driveshaft have nothing to do with the way the engine is running. It’s backfiring due to timing or carburetor issues…
Bowtie tips just restricted the airflow. I really hope they fixed it up more😂 because what the fuuuu

That thing is not safe to drive. He literally could not give it any gas to pull out on the main road. They should have bought a new carb, did a timing adjustment, or whatever else it needs to make the thing drivable b4 doing exhaust work
