Man, he sounds as good as ever!!!!
yep as good as ever
Yes!❤
No one has a voice like his
Never Lost It
His voice has never changed. Still sounds like he was 20 years old!!
His voices takes you back to a more simpler time, when there wasnt so much hate in the world. I miss those years.
Lol
Really tho.. Simpler times
@@jburg9790 yeah, I dont know old you are. But I remember driving to town and not worried about if the idiot behind is paying attention to the road or a cell phone. Or getting shot just for being in church. Simpler times.
In my opinion, the amount of "hate" in the world has a direct correlation to the MSM telling people there is a lot of hate in the world. Where I live, I do not see a bunch of hate.
Hate and evil is everywhere, that's why there's a heaven and a hell. I understand what you're saying, I'm 56 and I can remember when you didn't have to lock your front door. Didn't have to put everything you own under lock and key. Kids could play outside till the street lights came on. Could be dropped off at the mall all day to hang with your friends. Too much hate and evil now. Some bum that damn don't want to work,be stealing the stuff you busted your ass for
I’m a truck driver, watching my life go by mile by mile… just wanna say thank you so much for all your great music Mr.Anderson. It’s truly an honor to live in the midst of your music. Very special to me. Love you old friend.
be safe Sir, and stay positive.
Thank you so much for your service, my friend. Much appreciated.

"Country" radio won't play this cuz it's country.
Your exactly right my friend... Times have changed...
Wow -- you couldn't have said it better!
Dang society doesn’t allow our roots to be shown not even on the radio. It will “strike conservative views or nature and isn’t fair a liberal to ears to hear have to hear such a meaningful respectful honest song. It’s too pure for today. Such a shame
bluegrassfan76 if your down in the Chattanooga area, they have a radio station called “Classic Country” 97.3/99.3
97.7 in southern Illinois must play 4 different songs during the 9 hour workday at least. This is on the interstate 57 corridor and some of Interstate 24 in Southern Illinois. Not even better classic country station I've ever run across
No one sounds like John. No one
AMEN!
A real Country Singer

Yes sir
I lost my first son 17 years ago when he was 3 months old to kidney failure. I went to put flowers on his grave today for the first time in years. I got into the car and this song came up on my newsfeed. I needed this song today. I have always loved John Anderson's voice since I was a kid. 😍
Someone who loved you sent you that song. I guarantee it.
God Bless you and your precious son 💙
Hang in there
17 years he’s been in paradise
God bless your baby and you
Love this song, so much, I am 79, and I know my years are short. Thank you, John , you are a true Country singer. God Bless.
Hello Rena
Hope your doing well and still jamming your favorite tunes
My pops is 82 I can’t believe it, when he’s gone, I’ll rock on , can’t wait to cover this song, nevertheless, would you be ever so kind to give me your advice…
65 years old and STILL better than the garbage on Country Radio.
His voice is like no other...was a fan since, Seminole Wind...
me to became a fan bigtime. he has a voice like no other his just hits you in your heart.and now this song John Anderson oh my gosh love you Brother.

Hello Sierra
If this doesn’t go to the CMAs or something theres a problem
Well we know there is a problem.
It won't ever make it. It's to country
Ronald duwayne Brown unfortunately you maybe right as my original comment said “theres a problem”
No snaps no chance.
There's a pandemic.
Someone give this man a lifetime achievement award

This song probably would have been a smash hit back in the 90s.
This is REAL Country Music. Thank you, John Anderson.

I've listened to you since I was a little boy with my dad... He is now old and I'm grown and we still listen to you after all these years.. Thank you
The emotion in this song comes across in a way that the pop garbage on most country stations can only dream of.
Thats right!
Well said!👍
It does that, and somehow also manages to be a better rock song than mainstream too.
I don't consider much artwork stunning. Mr Anderson however generates it often.
I feel like you have to lived a certain amount to create great music. The ones that win a contest to get a contract got a short cut and it shows. This song has a sentiment to it I feel it probably comes from his heart , he some health issues. Great song.
Truly a great song...
Mr. Anderson is a national treasure!!! GOD BLESS him!!

Take notes children!! This is real country music!!!!!
Makes me so sad that he is one of the last true country singers, I've always loved your music, John Anderson.

Tears well up in my eyes as I listen to this beautiful song. I was just a young boy when i first heard John sing Wild and Blue. Im 52 now and my health is failing me. This song reminds me of all the years I've lived through, good and bad. Thank you John Anderson, for yet another heartfelt song. God bless you.
We're so glad the song and John's music in general has resonated so well with you over the "years"!
Stay strong my friend.
What a beautiful, heartfelt comment. Love from Virginia USA
wild and blue remains one of my all time favorites. i remember listening to it on the am channel as a kid lol
Stay cheerful my friend
He sounds better as he gets older. Amazing 👏
Thank you John Anderson.
John is a model of what a man should be. Unmistakable voice, message, and sound.
If this was what was what people considered country music, I wouldn't hate Country as passionately as I do. This is fantastic. Very heartfelt and real
I dont like modern country much but I like the old stuff. No idea when this song was written but I like it. Sierra ferrels cover of it is brilliant.
@@jeremybailey175 Was written in 2018, after he'd had a terrible & mysterious illness for two years. Almost died 3 times (did flat-line), lost his hearing. Thankfully God brought him back to health, & a friend introduced him to the much producer who produced this album. John wasn't sure he could do it, but they believed in him, & he did it! Sounds just like he did back in the 80s!! I loved his song Swingin back then -- what a fun song!!
Real country folks know this IS country music!
Yes John made it to the top of the mountain in the life of musical achievement, but he has got to be one of the most underrated country music icons there ever was, He should be and deserves to be spoken about like all other legends, Merle, Johnny, George, Conway, Kris, willie etc etc etc the Man is a timeless act and his music will live on long after he turns back to dust.
i cannot agree more with ya John Anderson is way underrated.
Truth
Agreed! Don't forget Tracy Lawrence and Mark Chesnutt! 🤠
In the media he's underrated but not to Jamey Johnson, Blake Shelton, Mark Chesnutt, Clay Walker etc.....
I absolutely agree with you!
Kick ass, that voice didn't change a bit. One of the REAL country artist. Thank you sir
I absolutely love John Anderson. Allways have. One of a kind !!!
He never tries to be like anybody and has a style of his own.
John Anderson! Wow! Most consistent artist ever to his roots! Maybe hasn’t ever really gotten the credit he deserves! Timeless voice!
I agree, don't think he ever got the credit he deserves
Damn strait
After all the years that he’s been singing he hasn’t lost his voice. He has the voice of his late 20s. It’s amazing to think his voice will always be in the world even after death
Hey I’m back still loving it
9 months since the last time I commented and I’ve heard it a lot since
Well, if you couldn’t hear the auto tune, then maybe. Very talented man none the less.

It will come for you as well
I'm one of the lucky ones to grow up hearing John on the radio everyday. Thank you John for keeping the real country music alive.
You're 65 John you got many more years to go. many albums to make. You sound good your voice is still the same. You aged a little but that's normal. Keep singing and making those albums. I will buy them.
I'll buy em too!! Have always enjoyed john Anderson's music. He's a good family man
go tell that to Kobe who was 41
@@karenjewett8057 you're right he is a good family man I can hear it in his music. I remember being 8 years old. My father came home with some 8 tracks. My family stereo look like furniture that was in the living room. You lift the wood lid up and there'll be a stereo, turntable an 8-track player all inside. I used to sit on top of the stereo after school do my homework and play his first album. Now I'm 47 years old. When I hear him sing it bring back memory of when I was a little boy sitting on that wood stereo.

Don't make these multi-millionaires any richer than they already are.....Don't buy their music....Go to your local library and rent out his cd.Then rip a copy to your computer for FREE.Then burn yourself a copy to play and download whenever and wherever you wish. All for FREE.He's already a rich man. These country music stars are lucky we even listen to their stuff at all....Let alone pay for it.....Nothing against him but I'm a poor bastard who works 3 jobs and I still sleep in my car. He's not gonna send his grandkids to college on my dime.🤣😆🤣🤣😆🤣!!!!!
@@pennywise8182 it's called capitalism. Most everything in your world that you use and like has come from someone busting their ass and getting rewarded with copyrights, patents, or royalties for it. Can you imagine what you would have to listen to if everyone had the same view as you and never paid for music. When you buy the music, it doesn't all go to the artist. A small portion may go to a creative mind that wrote it that may possibly be struggling to get by in this world such as yourself. Not all artists are songwriters singing only their songs. Nashville thrives off of several behind the scenes people that don't receive very much for their efforts and may never receive their fair share. Stealing is stealing no matter how you look at it. No matter how you choose to justify your action, it is stealing and it doesn't matter if you steal cars, music, money, or someone's spouse.
Our souls needed this song. Thank you John.
This is possibly my favorite country song ever

Danny Pederson sadly I stopped listening to country radio a while back. It’s not country radio. The artist rap singers on tour with them.

The years have gone by, but his voice hasn't aged a day. He's still got pipes like no other.
Country has been lost for a long time....it just doesn't get any better than this man. You can't even tell from listening to today's country who the artists are. You only need to hear a few notes and you know who this is. That is country...definable by i's greatest voices. Bring it on!

Emotion. Emotion. Emotion. Today's country is a joke, and it doesnt have a heart. Props to Dan and John for keeping it alive.
Just like everything else John does... this song is unforgettable, and an instant classic. Long after everyone has forgotten about the crap country over the last 20 years, he'll still be remembered and listened too, along with Reba, Dolly, Vince, Johnny, Wayland, all the George's, and Garth.
This is what nostalgia sounds and feels like. It's like reliving an old memory. John Anderson, still killing after all these years.

It’s too bad county music isn’t like this anymore. I love all of these old timers. Most all of the new stuff sucks ass in my opinion. But then again I guess I’m getting old and things change.

Mr. Anderson has always been a legend in my eyes and I think through the "Years" he has been overlooked sometimes for some of the flashier and louder stars. His music has a passion and fire that comes straight from his soul. Thank you again sir for another masterpiece.
@Matthew Jacobs his music has always reached me on a deep level. I agree that he deserves more credit. This song hit me hard.
In the early 80s a friend of mine left a cassette tape at my apt. I told him and he said keep it and listen to it. It was John anderson. I loved all the songs on that tape. I still have it somewhere! Lol I listen to him on utube. But this one YEARS I had never heard . Really like it.
👊🏼🙏🏼
Seminole wind sung by him has always been one of my favorites. This is Anderson's version of Hurt when Cash covered it. Fantastic and I hope he has many more years
I thought the same thing
John Anderson did a great version but Johnny Cash just absolutely nailed that Nine Inch Nails song, even Trent Reznor was quoted as saying Johnny Cash done a better version than the original. I was a metalhead and discovered country music largely thanks to Johnny Cash and John Anderson covering a Nine Inch Nails song.
Well. Today's a good day to cry because of how true and beautiful these lyrics are.
