As chilling as it was stupid.
It’s a Mary Sue moment, Disney says women cannot lose to men, Wanda gets armor plot powers to move the movie along. This is nothing more than an insult to women that says unless they are some sort of supernatural being, men will always hold power over them. Wanda is not a hero, she is tearing down everything that makes humanity good.

They probably wanted Wanda to backdown and leave peacefully. You know, real ideal scenario shiet, similar to how captain america acts

I blame Reed Richard for this, telling Wanda about his mouth was literally exposing his way of ending her and she used her power to end him like that.

Yea. I think the movie would just take a different turn tho. Since the scarlet witch was only dreamwalking, her actual body would be fine. She'd have to come up with a different plan. Meanwhile the Wanda in their world would be dead and the children would be orphaned. But at least they delay the inevitable awhile longer

And as much as the scene is cool, it'll forever go down in history as the instance that Mr. Fantastic, the smartest man alive, is literally the stupidest man alive.
This scene was supposed to be brutal and shocking but doesn't really make any sense, if she could do this, she could basically alter reality and manipulate matter to such an extent, that Captain Carter and Ms Marvel couldn't even touch her.
this is a movie. it’s an action scene. do you want it to end in 30 minutes? she was in for a 1x1 with the girls even tho no one stood a chance. in some capacity she was being merciful as she left them the singular choice to step aside or face her. thee generous queen

No, because it's not just skin covering his lips, she legit removed his mouth. There's nothing that sound can come out of, so it blew up his own brain. It was him thinking he could blow through the skin that killed him in the first place

It was explained that since Black Bolts skin and teeth didn't disintegrate when he speaks, they are resistant to it so when he makes a sound and got blocked by his skin, the sound wave travelled through his head and his brain wasn't resistant to it so it exploded

This was nice but also annoying.
Why is she that good now and no one can do shit. But when she was facing thanos, she was obviously better than him but still got pushed back and didn't came back for the sake of the plot. If she's that good there is no reason why any heroes could do anything to her in a conventionnal fight, so why was she pushed back by Thanos so easily. Because plot.
