he and madam were so generous and compassionate to allow perfect strangers into their lovely apartment for the morning satsang.no words are enough to express my gratitude.just tears.
Than you so much for these beautiful snippets ... Your glimpses into Nisargadatta Maharaj's teachings and the wonderful vignettes of the streets and people of Bombay... You can see so many who live in abject poverty, yet there is joy radiating in their faces... I lived in Bombay (Mumbai now) till i was 26 years old... I will never forget that phenomena.... It is so uniquely Indian. I am deeply appreciative of your fine depiction of the "Legacy of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj".
Its crazy that Ramesh was fluent in the tongue Nisargadatta spoke and he translated the sage for the audiences but there is zero video footage. Imagine hours of Nisargadatta and Ramesh talking on video! What a missed opportunity.
Interesting if Stephen Wolinsky would have gone back in time and interviewed Nisargadatta Maharaj about his teacher/guru Sri Siddharameshwar Maharaj, I feel Nisargadatta Maharaj would have spoken very differently from a very different place, a place of pure love and devotion. Undoubtedly Ramesh Balsekarji had attained remarkable insight into what he called pure awareness prior to consciousness. However a single drop of ananda bhakti shed as a tear by Nisargadatta for his guru contains entire oceans of vijanan within it. This tear drop shed in devotion contains much more than an entire ocean of pure awareness, which by itself remains incomplete for it is dry and barren.
It's clear that Balsekar could not graspthe teachings of Maharaj. The words of Balsekar prove that he was so much attached to his body-mind and took so much pride about 'himself'!!

He was sharp well into his 90th decade. Amazing.

If you hear some videos and pay attention, you will hear Ramesh’s voice multiple times translating Maharaj

There are no persons.
@@josephbarclayross6216that is not what Balsekar is emphasising. Maharaj is.
Schade, ohne deutsche Übersetzung.
What is that
Instead why not seek enlightenment? What is the purpose of not seeking enlightenment?
Great argument 😂 Well, actually there is no „you“ that would have the choice for either one…
