Fun Fact: Kermit Was Seen Wearing His Scarecrow Outfit On The View While Miss Piggy Was Dressed As Dorothy. I'm Sure That The Muppets Wizard Of Oz Costumes And Puppets Are Being Well Taken Care Of, I Might Think There At The Jim Henson's Muppet Workshop (Creature Shop) Or In A Disney Warehouse Somewhere.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Muppets Wizard Of Oz puppets/costumes were among the hundreds of puppets Henson dumped off at Puppet Heap when Disney bought Muppets.
My top 10 favorite Muppet movies are: 1. The Muppet Movie (1979) 2. The Great Muppet Caper (1981) 3. The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984) 4. The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) 5. Muppet Treasure Island (1996) 6. Muppets from Space (1999) 7. The Muppets' Wizard of Oz (2005) 8. The Muppets (2011) 9. Muppets Most Wanted (2014) 10. Muppets Haunted Mansion (2021)
In my confession, I'm familiar with this via promotional material, I have yet to watch this (it's not on Disney+), but I've seen the classic 1939 film and the Phineas and Ferb parody episode, "Wizard of Odd". It's after Disney acquired The Muppets and Bear in the Big Blue House in 2004.
Waiting for Where Are The?: Lomax The Hound Of Music puppets, Sing Me A Story with Belle puppets, Wimzie's House puppets, the Chowder puppets, The Noddy Shop puppets, Mopatop's Shop puppets, Rudolph's Shiny New Year stop motion models, Muppet Treasure Island puppets, The Big Comfy Couch puppets, The Doodlebops puppets, Scooter McNutty, Ms. Etiquette, and Booker T. Bookworm from Barney and Friends, Iris The Happy Professor puppets, Eureeka's Castle puppets, Plaza Sesamo puppets, Sesamstrasse puppets, etc. 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥📺
Muppets from Space would probably be my littlest guilty pleasure since this wasn't a musical and despite they use Funk songs from the 70s that my parents listened to back then like Commodores Brick House!
The movie may not have been the best Muppet outing (especially when it came to the casting choices for the humans), but those variant puppets were very well built and it has more in common with Oz lore than the MGM movie.
There are actually a lot more similarities to the book than differences. Aunt Em and Uncle Henry are with Dorothy when the tornado hits, the magic shoes are silver, The Tin Man was once a mortal who was cursed by the Wicked Witch to prevent his marriage, a group of mice saves Dorothy and Lion from the poppies, Everyone in Emerald City wears green glasses, Each character sees the Wizard separately in a different form, The Wicked Witch has a “ magic eye” that lets see everything and a cap to control the Monkeys, The monkeys capture Dorothy and Lion and rip Scarecrow and Tin Man apart then bring the group back to Emerald City after Dorothy melts the Witch, the Wizard inserts a heart into the Tin Man’s chest and removes the Scarecrow’s head to fill with “ brain news brains”, the friends have to go find Glinda, Dorothy saves “ take me home to Aunt Em” to return to Kansas and her trip to OZ actually happened.
I think I found where the Luna puppet prop from bear in the big blue house look at the start of Adam savage muppets videos as if the puppet you on the shelf might be Luna
That isn't Luna. Henson no longer owns the rights to Bear. If the Luna puppet hasn't disintegrated yet it's probably being kept in storage at Puppet Heap, the company that handles the Disney Muppets.
That's a super quick answer. His creator and performer Paul Fusco still has the original Alf puppet. Alf pops up on occasion. He made a cameos in the shows Mr Robot and The Goldbergs. Alf was just a guest on Impractical Jokers a few months ago. He appeared in some commercials for Ryan Reynolds cable channel thing.

@johnylitalo4163 That would be awesome. If they are ever taking tours, I will glady love to tour and see there workshop.
Hot take: I think this movie is really overhated. It’s flawed, but I gotta commend to sticking to the message it conveys.
