Interesting game. Some feedback for the developer: -Based on that trailer, the managers could use a different model. Be it a bulky staff instead of a simply enlarged one or something truly eldritch is up to you -Some variation on what is built would be nice, a few different textures for the same thing -The nights seem very bright. Perhaps there could be persistent lights around, as well as those you build, and the rest could be darker? It does work as it is now but that would be interesting. Potentially staff could be more attracted to players near light than those away from it -The article staff looked different, but these do look pretty cool -The article also said the place had a ceiling, albeit several miles/kilometers up and only supported by continuous pillars, never walls (predictably). Whether you add that is entirely up to you and really would only change how the scale of the place feels -On the topic of scale, giant landmarks such as perhaps walled-off sections or areas with second floors would be interesting, as well as those gargantuan non-display storage shelves that were also in the article. They sounded cool -Seeing some flatbed and normal carts around the place, even if non-functional, would be some nice atmosphere, and if they are functional and inventory is a more pressing issue than that could be interesting. Perhaps one could build certain things onto them as well -The staff seem to obviously need a bit of work, I picture them building up increasing waves over the nights after a while and then those lowering again, but you could do whatever you want with it. Perhaps base it on how much people build if you do it. this game has been in development for a while and I almost forgot about it until I looked at my steam page and decided to watch this video. I now realize this game has a lot more potential than I thought
What I think this game is missing (for now): Good (adaptive) AI. The staff in 3008 was, in my opinion, very ok as it was. Extension cable. Some sort of ability upgrades tree. Lack of sound effects. In 3008 the sound effects such as just the sound of hitting stuff were pretty good. The lighter. Characteristic elements such as themed departments. With some color and stuff. I know I might be missing a few more things I can't come up with. Comment what you think would improve this game🙃.
9:17 slightly take that personally. What I would consider as chips are something that are in a bag or that bag being within a box like Cheetos Doritos, Cheez-Its, goldfish, etc.
