Guys dont worry. I was in the same situation. I for real started learning for the TOEFL one day before and I also started watching this Video. Guys fr, just learn the template. The one in the description of the Video is really nice. Most important, memorize the structure. If you have only one day like me, don’t bother learning the sentences by heart. For the writing part also look up some templates in the internet. The more you can memorize the easier it gets :D. The reading part is pretty random tbh. My tip here: DO NOT READ THE WHOLE TEXT BEFORE ANSWERING. The questions are asked chronologically, so search for the answer in the text, after reading the question. Another tip for the readin btw. Out of all tests i have seen, the answer never contains strong words like: never & always, so if you read those, the answer is most likely wrong. I scored 110 btw (29/29/28/24) with fr 1 day of preparation. Has nothing to do with your english skills, its just about the strategy. P.S. do not lose motivation. I submitted my writing early without proofreading and tbh it was really trash because I thought i performed so bad in the speaking part that it does not matter. Even if you have to start an sentence over again if you loose track, just keep going. The grading is pretty fair. Passing an exam is different from taking an exam. We shouldn't say "When i was passing my exam..." if we are referring to the time we were sitting working on the exam paper. Are you taking your exam on the 18th of February? I'm guessing you are now passing your time studying. Note that we use the verb "take" in the context of assessments (quiz, test, etc.). Best wishes!

For me talking in English is the easiest thing ever, but the first question on the toefl question speaking section is the hardest thing for me for several reasons.. The first reason is because I can never think fast enough. I don't have set opinions on things in life so it's hard to even argue for one side. For example, since they usually ask personal questions for the first question, I'm the one who has to pick the opinion and to say what resonates the most, or what I feel is the better option. I literally black out and can't think, because I don't have strong opinions. The second reasons is that I can't create examples fast enough. If I do manage to find the two reasons why I feel this way, I can't make up or find examples that would help support my argument. Overall, it's just really difficult, and I'm super nervous. I really want to get 110+ on my TOEFL because then my mom said she'll buy me a nintendo switch and it's super expensive for my family, so I'm hoping your videos help.
This is really helpful! I wanted to give up after scoring a bad score at my toefl test but my dream is to study in Canada and I would take this test again and again until I pass it!
Thanks so much, Marina, the four tasks are well explained. I was a little bit jittering about the speaking part but now you have made it easier and it is straight forward.
Hi Marina thank you so much for your content about TOEFL on RUclips!! I was soooo afraid of my TOEFL Test, especially because of the speaking part. All of your videos were extremely helpful! 🙏 I practiced for the speaking section using your videos and got a 30/30. Thank you sooo much! Ananta.One.1 Well, you did a good job already. How I trained my students was to ask them face the wall and set my timer! Practice does make perfect. Good luck.

@@sarakim1070 ah thank you seriously I'm glad for u to help me the problem is that English is not my native language will u think I will face a big problem in exam ?
@@selman4543 no no it's not a problem, English is not my mother tongue too. I studied English by myself and I've never been to an English speaking country. Focus on the parts you feel more weak in and take as many mock exams as you can! I would like to say that the use of the templates you provided boost my score from a 19 to a 25!!! OMG, I did not use templates on my previous test and just using them boost my score 6 points. Guys it was really helpful thank you so much and keep doing what you are doing because you are really helping so many people.
The best channel for TOEFL preparation. Bravissima!
I did the test in 5 of December and I used all these templates. I got 23 on speaking.
I just memorized them and in the break I put them on the papers and directly when hearing or reading the articles write the most important points and examples following the templates.
I was very afraid from the speaking part but it was easy using these templates ❤

I'm passing TOEFL on the 18th of February, so excited and worried at the same time
can't believe i'm actually doing this, omg
Passing an exam is different from taking an exam. We shouldn't say "When i was passing my exam..." if we are referring to the time we were sitting working on the exam paper. Are you taking your exam on the 18th of February? I'm guessing you are now passing your time studying. Note that we use the verb "take" in the context of assessments (quiz, test, etc.). Best wishes!
Yeeah, 🎉 scored 117 out of 120.
Thanks to your videos and the ones of tstprep. I didn't expect that, because the test seemed so much more difficult then the test trials I took before.
If you prepare well and you understand how the test works, you will make it! 😊
Congrats! Thank you for your kind words 😊
Hello, Marina! I received my scores this morning. R:25 L:29 S:30 W:27 overall 111. Really just wanted to thank you for the materials and your incredible motivation. Your efforts were with no doubt a crucial part for me to achieve this score. Keep up the good work!
Did you just follow the template like she explained it? i mean did you started by saying something like "In my opinion..." ?
How did you go about it
Dear Teacher Marina, million thanks to you and all your wonderful videos that you generously share on RUclips. I am from Indonesia and I just passed TOEFL Test with score 104 (R:29, L:28, S:22, W:25). I took the test on August 2, 2020. I had only 9 days to prepare and without your magnanimous help, I could never make it! You are truly a savior for a penniless student like me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Apart from your effective templates, your practical advice truly helped me, such as being prepared that the test room will be full of distractions, imagining that the person evaluating my speaking recordings will be a kind person, etc. I want to mention everything but that will be too long, hahaha. So, simply put, you're the best Toefl teacher, friendly and smart, with simple yet effective instructions, and - not to miss it - dazzling beauty. Thank you, thank you.
I will surely endorse and promote your channel to my friends. May the Kind Lord bless you and your family abundantly.

Thank you 27/30 in speaking. Immediately I entered the test room I wrote down all your guidelines. It was so easy to use it. I did very well.
I really want to get 110+ on my TOEFL because then my mom said she'll buy me a nintendo switch and it's super expensive for my family, so I'm hoping your videos help.
thank you so much
this was the most useful video I've seen for toefl so far

I really appreciate the time you take to explain us everything. Also, I just want to leave a little observation about a little thing I saw in this video. I'm a very eco friendly person who is always trying to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as I can, and in this video I saw you wrote in those big post-it notes which I personally think is a way of wasting to much the paper. How do I get better at Speaking, especially due to 15s : 45s rule.
Ananta.One.1 Well, you did a good job already. How I trained my students was to ask them face the wall and set my timer! While they were trying to speak, I used to walk or even play music or make annoying noise. You can practice like that too, even if you want to skip background noise, do a lot of sample exams. Practice does make perfect. Good luck.
Thank you so much. I had followed a similar strategy when I had written the TOEFL back in 2016 and had a 117/120. But I couldn't go for my MS back then because of some personal reasons. I will be writing the TOEFL again on Jan 29th and hopefully I am able to ace the exam with your templates :)
