I don't understand why SF signed Jung Hoo Lee for a ridiculous price.
He was a hitter who could not even hit 10 home runs per year in the KBO and had never hit an OPS of 1,000 or more.

Why did they change it?
Years ago I won a Bond’s jersey from the California Lottery. It was more authentic because it did not have his name on the back. My only guess why it changed was because of all the new players and just the number is not enough. But great series win and I was in vr314 on opening day. My coworker and I have wanted to be at opening day since 2020. It is great that our Giants have an 18-7 record on opening days in this park. But I must admit I was at one of the losses on my only other opening day. But things are looking up because our bullpen has faltered in our losses and the offense has to meld . But recently the bullpen has been lights out. But I agree with the early commentary that we are not going to compete with the duckin Fodgers and our best shot will be a wildcard spot. But 10 out of 162 is such a small sample. Go Giants.

이정후는 배트에는 잘 맞추고 타구속도 하드힛도 잘 나오는데 발사각도가 너무 낮으니 땅볼만 계속 나오는게 심각..그래도 컨택은 잘 되는 거 같으니 앞으로 개선될 여지는 있다고 봅니다.
받은 돈이 있는데 어쩌겠습니까, 성적으로 증명해야지.

SF signed the wrong contract with Jung-hoo Lee.
His defense and baserunning skills were not up to the MLB average, and his performance in KBO last year was poor.
He doesn't have long hit power, and it's too much to expect a stolen base.

It's pretty much what we are going to see all year....mostly sub par offense, low scoring games, 75-80 wins.
Its a passable team as far as fan draw - no real star than non baseball fans want to see , but enough good players where the average fan can continue to hope....

Cronenworth's "double" in the first inning was a HORRIBLE defensive look for us (the Giants) and here's why. Almost ANY OTHER center fielder in the league would have caught that fly ball (it wasn't even a home run robbery!), but instead Jung Hoo Lee makes an absolute fool of himself by crashing into the wall. Yastrzemski wasn't fully hustling to cover for Lee (he reasonably thought Lee had that ball), so he gets to the ball OVER 1 SECOND LATER than he should have. That 1 second is the difference between the runner being sent or not being sent home. Yaz makes a solid relay to Ahmed, who STILL has ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD to throw the runner out at home. Bear in mind that Ahmed (who is SUPPOSED to be a 2-time gold-glover) has made this throw hundreds or even THOUSANDS of times over many years of taking these exact reps in practice. Instead he throws a WEAK 1-hopper 10 FEET to the WRONG SIDE of the plate, preventing Bailey from making the tag in time.
It's sneaky plays like these that most spectators will ever notice how atrocious they are. But this should have been a routine fly or AT LEAST an EASY throw-out at home, NOT a double that SCORES 1 of the only 5 runs in the entire game.
Keep in mind that the pitcher Logan Webb received an earned run from this play. The defensive incompetence and inability of his teammates greatly affected his success last year, and it already is doing so this year as well. You have to feel bad for the guy.

@@letsgobrandon1719I know at that speed to not hit the wall he would of needed to scale it with his feet. Definitely a tough catch for anyone with the sun beaming out on your eyes
