In my last comment on a different post I said Yaz was the new strikeout king but tonight he proved he still has what it takes to win ballgames, especially against the number one team in their division, the Dogs of L.A. It's a beautiful thing when the Giants win; exciting, hopeful and proud to be a fan. But, what was different this game when the Dogs handed the G-men their rear ends in the first two games in their own park? The answer: batting. Every batter up swung the bat and had many connects, even if some were foul balls or pop ups. At least they weren't intimidated and didn't stand in the box like they were waiting for a bus, just to get struck out without trying. Even Schmitt got hits. If the Giants keep this up, that is, swinging the bat, they can get lucky and get on base. Moving up in their division to lead could happen as long as they swing the bat. This lifelong Giants fan does not want to curse the team for not trying anymore. Kudos to the pitching crew. They were in the 'zone' today striking out the Dogs heavy hitters. Even the Coach made a great strategic move to put in a lefty pitcher against a lefty batter. Thank you Giants for a great game!⚾️⚾️⚾️👍
Good to see Kurt Casali again. And Yaz with a nice swing for a Homerun. His best year was his Rookie year in 2018 1 more homerun and he would have gotten rookie of the year. Beat LA today to split the series please.
Finally Farhan, one frickin’ move you’ve made that I love! Thank you for bringing back Casali! He is the only backup to Bailey that is a solid MLB catcher! He’ll win us games just with him calling the game!!! Get rid of atrocious Reetz, Farhan!!! And tell Melvin to not let Sabol back there unless it’s an absolute emergency! He is horrible at throwing - trying to throw out base runners! Keep him in the outfield or teach him how to play First Base. God Blessed Farhan… For the love of God, get rid of the Rogers brothers and Sean Hjelle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Package all three for a years worth of baseballs!!! Get rid of these three!!! Trade all three for bazooka gum… just get rid of these three!!!
