So nice to see the places where East Indian greats like Shri Kallicharran and Shri Kanhai grew up and mastered their trade. Thanks Ramaswami Ji for this video.

It's been forty years and I never went back. Now I want to go thanks to your video. I was born at Port Mourant Hospital and attended Saint Joseph Primary School. Lived on the same street by the rum shop. Any Hotels in the area?
Thanks for sharing this video of Port Mourant. It is a shame that people are trashing everywhere of this beautiful country. Can you please do Corentyne Bush Lot?
Hi Nohar, St. Joseph Anglican Primary School is still there. Please look at the end of the video and you will see the school.Pause the video to see the school. Thanks for watching.
Hi! Beautiful video! I am from Georgetown and went to the Bookers Apprentice Training Centre in 1975 and lived in the hostel. I can see my room from the pic!! Wow! It brought back so many memories but the whole place has changed. I recognise some houses and the racetrack road, the Dispensary, Singhs shop by the Port Mourant market. There used to be a barbershop...the guys name was Basalat (haircuts for a quarter). I know he was close to the dispensary but his house may be renovated. But thank you, Sir!

Nice video, Martin. Guyana could be a much more attractive place if more attention is placed on the maintenance of the environment. Too much garbage and bush.
