I don't think any fighting game has ever done that before and hasn't since then.
Well, there was SEGA's Toy Fighter, which had a similar point-based system, and was a lot more obscure, since it was released only in Japan. Luckily, there's some footage on RUclips!
Tbh I'd love to see a revival of this game series with Joker/Jester as the final boss. He was so insane and only one that was nearly as hard was The infamous Cow.
exactly, it was resambling a real karate tournament. lots of combos, counters, there were a lot of throws and counter throws, in the n64 version you could also customize how many points would each finishing technique give and the amount to win the match
Fighters Destiny was my first ever N64 game and when I first heard the Observation Room I fell in love with the song. This remix is absolutely incredible and from all the ones I've listened to on RUclips. I can say with high confidence this is the best version. You nailed it right. Oh he wasn't too bad once you learned what to look out for. I personally found him VERY susceptible to a good chunk of Leon's arsenal. If he does dizzy you, quickly tap A and B to regain health faster.

I love the idea of getting back to remixing when I'm done with a personal project. I hope I can do more Fighters Destiny remixes starting next year :) Of course, Bob's theme is one of the best themes in the entire game!
Boro has that Cynthia look from Pokemon. Truly scary opponent then Joker is like fear to all warrior's hearts. And Ryu being the chosen one, the hero to defeat them all and becoming champion. I love this trio! :D

Why is this not an anime serie it reminds me of dragonballs music and that girl just looks like a champion that never loses and Ryu just the main character try beat his main villain Joker. If it was a serie I would love watching it.

This game needs remake.... my favourite fighting game. This is better than Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter.
It was not as popular as some other 3D fighting games at the time, but it was very original and fun, with a great soundtrack of course.
I never even heard of Street Fighter that much back then. It was this game that was my first fight game

Fighters Destiny if remade, should be on Nintendo Switch, and other consoles since it was only on N64.
