When I'm adding broccoli or cauliflower to my pasta dishes, I place the veggies in a colander and place it over the pot of boiling water/pasta so they are both ready ( and al dente) at the same time.

In order to do your program is it totally Vegan? I am post menopausal and would love to get rid of 15 pounds. Is it the meat? I was plant based for 2 years a few years back and thought that it wasn’t helping my weight although I did feel great! I am so confused about what to eat lately.

low fat just does not work for me, I get hungry as the devil and then eat anything in sight. Sorry but I need healthy fats (avocado, coconut oil, olive oil, etc) Also wheat and most carbs just make me hungry in 3 hours too! For some people a high-fat diet with plenty of leafy greens is best.
If you're hungry after a few hours, eat small meals every few hours. You don't necessarily need high fat to stay full. I am someone who's hungry throughout the day and lost 90 pounds, eating small meals every few hours. Other than some avocado and natural peanut butter, I ate low fat.
I'm not sure where you are from, but I can find it at all grocery stores in my area such as Safeway, Trader Joe's and of course Whole Foods. It's usually in a refrigerated section of the store that may also have salsa or guacamole in that same section. A common brand around here is Sabra, but there are a lot of brands at those stores that I've mentioned. Maybe you could order it off of Amazon grocery, also.

Make sure your lemons are organic the bitterness can be from a wax coating
