I totally relate to this video as i'm also currently in a LDR tho the distance is way shorter than South Korea-Canada as it's still European countries, i still go through those mental hurdles and cry myself to sleep sometimes ! I am also quite clingy 😅 and i already felt some changes in myself, it's like i've grown more emotionally, i was very surprised too 🤣 We might not be able to meet again for 3 months and it does feel like the end of the world today but i'm trying to see it positively and try to focus on my life here for now ! Thank you for this video, it kinda came at such a perfect timing for me 💖

LDRs can be difficult. However, if you're not selfish and are understanding you can make it work beautifully. I was in a beautiful LDR neither her nor I were selfish and always thought about the other more than ourselves. It was beautiful. Sadly, she passed away April 7 2018 in Hong Kong. She was a filipina working in Hong Kong. I've been single since. But we never fought once in the 15 months we video chatted, not once did we raise our voices. We were making plans to meet each other in Hawaii when she passed. away. Worst day of my life.
Instead of doing long distance and if you love each other, it is better to move together and build something. To loose 1 year is a no go
I could never do it, and it wasn't much distance. High-libido + physical magnetism = wandering eyes. I think women can deal with that element better, but I think it's a horrible idea for any AMerican guy that still has curiosity in their blood (among aforementioned...).

IMO as a guy, LDRs almost never work unless the guy is a total dork or morbidly obese. An attractive guy's eyes will always wonder, and while he may be sweet to you on Facetime, chances are he's two-timing you behind your back, because it's simply too easy. Physical intimacy is an essential ingredient for a man (vs. emotional attachment for a woman) and if the guy's attractive, other women will flock to him even if he doesn't ask for it. Of course if he doesn't find a girl that is as good as you by the time you return, he will dump her and reunite with you, and pretend as if nothing has happened.
TL;DR if the guy's attractive, forget about an LDR.
