I was exiting 75 yesterday at 10th Street and was waiting at a red light and a group of boys that looked to be in their teams came running down through the line of cars with scowls on their faces. Had to be close to 10 of them and I was extremely nervous because I wasn’t sure what they were up to. I think they may have been chasing the first young man to come by and I was hoping bullets wouldn’t start flying. They seemed to give up the chase because they all suddenly turned around and headed back to 10th Street. You just never know these days what you’re going to come up on. Makes me really sad because I’m about to be 55 and am an Atlanta native and I certainly remember better, safer times 😞💔🙏🏻

I do not go to certain gas stations, especially the ones owned by certain people who do not keep clean and functioning restrooms! They also sell expired goods! 😕 I don't play that! Those are where people hang out at.

I can't buy into that gaming machine lie. It's b.s. Most of the people that I see playing those games are 50 & older. They sit there for hours like a turtle on a log.

So...Kroger's just put these machines in a Kroger grocery store on the southside of Atlanta! I found this wrong on so many levels but according to this news report it will no longer be safe to shop at this particular store.

It's mostly the HOOD areas that get hit the most because that's where most of the drug activity/ gang affiliates goes on.. Most of the activity happen at night as well... So if you can avoid the hood areas of the city and go out during the day if you can to lower your risks for being shot or robbed.
The illegal gambling is partially why... Gangs are more likely to encounter each other at gas stations. They need gas or are purchasing things like blunts and cigarettes. Most of the ppl using the slots are older, poor ppl in those neighborhoods. Notice where the machines are focused. Ive never seen one in a gas station in Alpharetta. Recently, they allowed Kroger to install these slots in a store on Old National...
