I’ve been buying ASM since 1965 and selling them for 40+ years. Never lost a dime on any silver age Ditko/Romita Spidey’s except for the ones I DIDN’T buy.
I think that ASM #50 is a book to buy if you can get it at a decent price. It's a triple key with the first appearance of Kingpin, a classic Romita cover, and one of the best Spidey stories ever.
Spideys from 50-100 have been my current obsession. Stalking these books trying to complete the mini run. Great content as always! #FANALYTICS

Have bought and sold ASM collections 3 times since a kid...always did well..but should have definitely kept my 1st go around w/ 1-130 in Fn or better shape. I think that wide range for ASM 3 is that damn pin-up being intact. #Fanalytics

Hey Ryan, I hope all is well. This is Bob in Connecticut.. well I have to say the green goblin is my number one villain I would say number 2 would be Dr. doom. I picked up amazing Spider-Man 14 8.0 last year the first appearance of the green goblin if I was still working I would definitely pick up the same book 9.4 or 9.6.. I told you I gave up bartending so I could only buy something of great value if I sell something of great value. Anyway, keep up the great work..#FANALYTICS

Spidey is the king of the Silver Age. I love all these books, even though I was forced to sell most of them to pay off debts ( so far have hung on to #4, 6, 15 & 50). Hope to get them all back some day! Great videos!#fanalytics
There is indeed hope. Had to sell mine when suddenly there was 3 kids. But after a long climb I have them back and feels great!

Golden age is always tough because they don’t sell very often in the same grade.

I'm so torn between #1 and #2 - I think I'd prefer Green Goblin over Doc Ock if all things were equal, but I think Doc's cover is better and being earlier in the series clinches it as #1 for me.
Being issue 3 definitely helps it.

#fanalytics I have been collecting this set since 1982 when I got my first issue. I now only need 35 issues. I recently started buying again this year bc the prices are so down I can afford them again. Had a 15yr span where I rarely added anything as prices kept going up. And yes I do need #46. The highest number I need is 51. The lowest number I have is #3 I picked up in 2001 for $50 on a BIN on ebay. It has blue marker on the cover where a kid drew a big circle but I just love that book. Ebay was so new back then you could find deals. But back then there was more cards than comics on it. Great video!

Súper informative video. To own any single digit ASM books in relatively good to high grades are always great investments in the long run. Also key Silver Age 1st appearance villains.

Love, love, love Spiderman...especially ASM. I'm trying to get my grail, AF 15, as I'm sure that everyone else is as well. The earliest issue of ASM that I have is issue #8, which is being graded now at CGC. I've recently acquired a copy of ASM #14 CGC 2.5...I believe that you may have the same copy. #fanalytics

I have never understood why Spider-Man annuals #1 and #2 are not considered key issues. They were hard to find when I was a kid in the 60's, and very difficult to find in mid to high grades. #FANALYTICS
They’re definitely key issues as well (especially number 1). I was just looking at the main Spider-Man run with this video.
2 economic crashs between 2002-2012 might have skewed or lowered the comparable returns- something to also consider #Fanalytics

I think most people are overpaying for ANY Spidey SA now because they incorrectly believe they are all safe blue chip investments & they are wrong.

If you didn’t unload most of these during the boom, you missed out on a once in a lifetime chance. You can buy all of these now for a mere fraction of what you could’ve sold these at back then.
