SEGA NOMAD!!! The bigger, badass cousin of the Game Gear. I loved playing that thing whenever I was out. Having the Sonic & Knuckles stack sticking out of the top was hilarious! It was one of my favorite hand helds ever. That beast absolutely melted batteries away like they were nothing.
I love it when you see cool store owners like that! They win, you win at the end of the day.
What people don’t realize is some of his inventory will never sell or take forever to sell. He is buying items from sellers and reselling them. Meaning his margins are never going to be very good. He has to cough up a lot of capital with minimal gains, but he’s having fun doing it. So the people that say he is ripping people off just don’t understand business.
Depends on the item, there was that one where he traded a switch for like thousands of dollars worth of product lol

@@Thisisnotasign the customer agreed to the deal, if the customer was uncomfortable with the deal then he wouldn’t have made it and the video would have never been posted. He didn’t rip him off

If stores get upset over u scanning merch they need to change their business model. Until there is a law that says u can’t scan their merch keep doing what ur doing.
Another awesome video! And with the scanning of items idc if I come across as rude. Even if it's a item I won't resell, and if for personal use I'll scan it. Great example I know off topic. I needed a new fan for my home and at lowes it was $139.99. As I scanned it for Amazon it was only $89.99.. soo yeah whenever I make a purchase I always check and scan my items

So big bit of info for one game specifically. Watch for gray cart versions of WCW Backstage assault for N64. Incredibly rare, and a lot of people just skip over it. Loose it's around $600. You don't expect to find it in the wild and underpriced, but I have & it bought a good chunk of my collection after I sold it.
The gamester was my favorite controller back on the original Xbox, it was like the elite controllers of today. It played with any came.

Yo a few months ago at my local Goodwill I bought a perfect condition loose Xbox 360S with controller, cables & Kinect (preloaded with Far Cry 3&4, Halo Reach, GTA4, Hexic & The Gunstringer), and a blu-ray player. Most recently I bought from them Mass Effect, a discontinued (but broken) PS4 controller, another Xbox 360 controller and a copy of Final Fantasy X-2. Resold at a retro game shop, total profit: ~$25. That same trip, I also spotted a 4K blu-ray player.

Back in the day the pull strip was on some early system software, mostly PSOne, PS2, Sega Disc systems, and 1st wave of Xbox games… the pull tab was popular on Music CDs and dvds too

the only issue I have with looking up prices clearly means the buyer isnt gonna use it him/herself so you are not selling it to someone who is there to enjoy the product but to make a profit of it.

what about the people that actually want games tho? i visit game stores near me because its cheaper but thats because i want to accutaly play the games and not sell them for 3 times the price i bought them for. just buying all the good games then bringing up the price only helps yourself

that gamester contoller is an old school xbox controller for the original og xbox like the elite controller my uncle used to use one for halo2 online can use it without taking your thumbs off the analouge sticks
Love your videos and I do the same exact thing on a daily grind. What bothers me is all you guys pushing whatnot. What does whatnot mean? Getting games at terrible prices!? I watched retro Rick’s live auction and it was the worst prices on games I’ve ever saw. I always wondered why people would purchase over market value on Amazon but whatnot has put eBay and Amazon prices to shame. One guy bidding bought 5 common nes games worth $40 for $160. It stinks and I don’t like it. Seems just like a Wata in the making. You guys know your gonna make a ton of money off fanboys and it’s just another thing that’s gonna drive up the market.
Appreciate your concern. You’re right the RUclipsr auctions definitely aren’t the place to go if you’re looking to get stuff at below market. More viewers=higher prices. Also you will get people who pay over market just to support the channel.
However I get games on there for under market value every day. Just have to hop into the right auction. Also many viewers enjoy it as another way to interact with creators they follow. However saying it’s ‘WATA in the making’ makes me question your understanding of the market. The idea that one item selling for over market in a whatnot auction could affect the broader market just doesn’t make sense. There are millions of copies of all these games, even if I had thousands of people in my auctions it wouldn’t make a dent in the established market price of any given game.
I truly appreciate your support, and hope if nothing else you see I wouldn’t consistently peddle a platform I don’t believe in.

@@PhoenixResale I’ve only ever gotten about market or below market value on whatnot. I’ve gotten unlucky a few times but that’s my own fault. It really is a fun and community driven platform that I love using. I mean of course when there’s like 800 people bidding on one item at a time there’s always gonna be people willing to pay above market value just statistically speaking. And even the market inflation thing doesn’t make sense. Sure maybe selling them to more people that want them may cause scarcity and increase interest, but that’s an inevitable fact of life. BTW I love seeing civil discussion. Rarely happens on the internet.

My take: my mans is taking a risk by spending his OWN money to BUY a game that MAY sell (immediately, but you don't know) for a profit
he's hoping that someone will pay for his stock.
For stores that are on par or similarly price to Amazon/Ebay/other reputable selling sites, you are buying games immediately for Amazon prices WITHOUT going to the Amazon store. (i mean if you're near to these stores...why not? But do ALWAYS negotiate.)
