- Another one to cross off our bucket list! Follow us as we meet up at Bryan's former house, where he is works on cars and keeps some heavy skate memorabilia. We talk about his and Dennis Martin's new company "HOURS IS YOURS" before heading to Baker Boys Dist. for a session at the park and some proper shopping at the warehouse. Enjoy.

This is such a good slice of life piece on one of the guys I’ve followed since he was just a kid. Herm’s so deserving and it’s awesome to see the life he’s made for himself.

Him and spanky were the reason I was a ‘hesh’ kid growing up. I would watch kids in emerica so much and this is skateboarding
Those two had a huge influence on a whole generation

Love this guy. His lines in stay gold will always be a classic. So glad to see him doing well and enjoying what he’s into. It’s contagious. Thank you for showing this side of Bryan. A good man that so many kids in skateboarding look up to. Skated one of his bake and destroy board a long time ago and it was awesome.

One of the my first decks was a Bryan Herman after I read one of his interviews in a skateboard mag as a small kid. I’m 25 now and it was cool to see him still skating and doing well

Herm has, by far - the most overlooked style in skateboarding. He has the best style of any street skater I've seen in 30 years. He looks like he's tweakin though, huge pupils. Hope he's ok.

Bryan made me so stoked and proud that he got Victorville on the map. I was blown away when I saw him kickflip the grass gap at Serrano in his video part because I'd look at it every day at lunch thinking it had a weird angle run-up. Glad to see he's still living his best life these days.
That school is sick, there are so many spots there. Across the street there is a really cool rail at that church too. I boardslid it a while back not sure if it's been skated since.

Herman still has one of the best hard flips. My first Baker board was a Herman one a LONG time ago. Classic baker lettering but said Herman and was white and gold. So sick.

Hey just a shout out for doing this episode. It's funny how your favorite skaters lives can just move on outside of skating and then as a fan you see nothing of them. It's good to see them pop up every once and a while. Dude blew my mind jumping over picnic tables and good to see him skating still

the Herminator was one of my heroes growing up. I just started skateboarding and This is Skateboarding just came out. Seeing him and Spanky skating at that level and being pretty much a couple years older than I was really made and impression. Still 2 of my favorites since then.

That garage is so bad ass. I grew up skating from middle school and still do at 35. I currently have a Lizard King, deathwish decks. I didn’t have money growing up so a $50 deck was a big deal to me.
Now my passion is cars. I’ve gotten to build some awesome vehicles. My favorite was a 1974 International scout . I kept it for 6 years. I still skate to clear my mind. Those $50 decks don’t hurt as much when you’re not a broke teenager anymore 😂
My little brother took his life in 2021. He left behind a 1973 Jeep commando that he had been working on for years. Once I can see the Jeep again I’ll get it right. It’s too hard to be around it still. It’s at my parents. It’s a 6.2 LS swap with a 4l80, Holley EFI . That Jeep was all he cared about. Skating and cars is the one thing we always share a love for together and I’ll always cherish .
No better therapy than skating and cars. 🙏

The original Emerica G-Code were my favorite shoes ever. Perfect amount of feet protection with good board feel, a lot of good color ways. I wish G-codes were an Emerica permanent staple. I'd buy at least one pair a year.
