Thank you for this video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I just visited this area myself a few weeks ago. I feel like it is very quiet during the day (good for shopping) but at night it is much more lively and better if you want to enjoy the atmosphere more.
This niche market is awesome practical, convenient and everything at your fingertips. I especially liked the retro gaming store.
The gaming store was my fave too. Wanted to buy everything!
After going japan so many times and my wife loves anime , I started with chainsaw man, hunter x hunter both where very good and so much more made sense in japan to me..... We have videos of wining a lot of ufo catcher anime characters so much fun.. I cant wait for my next trip there Aloha from Hawaii.....
We need to have 1 Akihabara in every town and city, lol!
The perfect world
15:30 I can hear Bust A Groove 2 and Final Fantasy IX on the background
I visited Den Den a few years back. Got a nice figure at a Crane game place. The staff were nice and had a good chat. That never happens in Tokyo. Thank you for the walk.
I've heard Kansai people tend to be friendlier 😊
Depends on the genres you may like and enjoy, everyone has different tastes of media.
Moment he walked into Taito station and said one of the best scams ever 😂
でんでんタウンも変わったなぁ。昔の面影が、無くなってるね。で、街が比較的に綺麗!昔の汚いイメージが、薄らいでる。
amazing it's also like a retro town
Thanks for watching!
Woww very beautiful country
Thank you! You should definitely visit. Autumn is a great time
Thank you sharing this video
Thanks for watching!
That was fun to see, i like the little kei vehicles. The interior or most stores seems to chaotic loud and flashy
Chaotic loud and flashy is the motif of these places
Thanks to this video, able to get around denden town for the event last weekend. Wonder if there's a akihabara/denden town in nagoya, aichi?
I am not so sure about Japanese claw machines, but my recommendation is to try to grab the plush 'improperly' and hope the machine is going to 'pay out' for the highest chance of winning one of these 'scam' claw machines.
Most, if not all, machines have cash threshold that must be satisfied before you may win a prize.
Hope this helps. :)
Wooo i just wanna go there
It's waiting for ya!
❤❤❤
15:25 Talk About Old School!
Blast from the past
Siracha is korean made? I'm not sure. I'm really not surprised there's a vending machine for it. I've seen some weird stuff in videos about vending machines.
Pretty sure it's Thai. It wasn't so much the machine that surprised me as the location. Games, Manga, anime, and Sriracha. That's Japan for you I guess
@@japanroamer oh ok. I guess I remembered wrong.
I’ll be visiting Den Den town for the first time in August. Specifically shopping for figures. Any recommendations?
Are there Made Cafes too?
Yes. Plenty of choices
Think of anime as Hollywood, the big US TV stations [NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX], comic books and merchandise all rolled in to one. A lot of anime started out as a comic/manga and became popular enough to be turned in to an animated TV show. If that show is popular enough, promotional merchandise is created to sell along with the show to fans. It's no different then when a US movie has supporting merchandise [mostly toys] sold in stores to help promote the movie. The big difference between anime and Hollywood/US TV, is that there is always something different to watch every viewing season. Anime also covers a vast array of genres, so there literally is something for everyone. Since the studious don't need hundreds of millions of dollars to produce an anime compared to live movies, it's much easier to create a new show.
Nobody asked lol
Where do you find the best model car collecting shops in Osaka?
I think nk yodobashi camera has a really good selection. In Umeda. They have a whole bunch of models but I'm not too sure about cars.
What's the name of the erea?
It's Nipponbashi, aka dendentown
外国人にはスーパーポテトの入口に何故お菓子売り場があるのか分からないんだろうな
Why is that?
