I have a friend who is born a Muslim all her life. She has a prophet that’s telling her she is not allowed in the temple, they have a separate room for women and taught her that there’s a God that should be feared. It says in their Koran that there is a prophet named Jesus but they claim he is not the Messiah. When I brought her to my church, she was awe-struck how happy we were and how we worshipped our God was so much different. She questioned her faith but she was warned by her father and mother not to learn about this Jesus. She said she’d go to the temple 3-4 times, studied the Koran since she was young but she was not allowed to study it with the boys. She goes and prays but her heart is empty and is longing for something deeper. When she came with me to church, she was filled with the Holy Spirit immediately and she wondered could it be true? That what she’d been looking and feeling for is in that church. Could it be that her Messiah is Jesus Christ? When her family found out, they threw her belongings away and shunned her with her inheritance and her family name. She wondered what kind of god she was worshipping. In a matter of weeks she committed her life to Christ and have found what she’s been missing all these years. She said I have hope in Christ and He accepted me the way I was the first time I stepped in your church. Praise God, she found her Messiah!!!!

He helped produce this beautiful song overnite with Director Freddie Santos who wrote the words and Gary V. put it together and sang it. Then, Gary V. rearranged anew this song for Morisette's version.

This is the first time I heard Gary sing this song which he originally made the arrangement for Morissette as requested to him by the lyric writer: Freddie Santos who later died (RIP). Both Gary and Freddie agreed to let Morissette sing this song for them and both were very satisfied of the results and the acceptance by the world. Gary version did not really pierce my heart and soul not like what Morissette did, for every time I listen to her singing this song I always get very emotional and cry. There is not enough emotion in Gary's cover. Sorry to say that and sorry Gary, but it is true. I know you are a good singer too, but I guess Morissette was able to give it a better interpretation with tremendous emotion, that all the people who were there during the one take of this song by Mori, I was told all were in tears, too, as Mori did at the end of the song.
