GUINEA PIG TEETH: Malocclusion Causes, Symptoms and Treatment
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 4 фев 2025
- Malocclusion is misalignment of the teeth, often caused by overgrown teeth, a common illness in guinea pigs which can be fatal because eventually the piggie will stop eating. This video is all about what to look out for, the diagnosis, treatment and some tips which might help to prevent overgrown teeth in your piggie.
----CAUSES----
Guinea pig teeth grow constantly and so need to be kept worn down at the same rate of growth. Different things lead to changes in the eating patterns of guinea pigs and consequently overgrown teeth:
Other illness, which may put piggies off their food
It is thought to be genetic in some cases
Aging, as in older piggies the jaw muscles weaken and they may not have the same appetite
Sometimes trauma to the teeth or mouth can lead to overgrowing teeth. It is not uncommon for guinea pigs to break one of or even a pair of their incisor teeth. If this does happen, take them to a cavy savvy vet who will decide if the tooth needs removing or the others need clipping to compensate. Usually guinea pigs recover very well from a damaged incisor.
----SYMPTOMS----
Signs of overgrowing teeth include…
Not eating properly - dropping bits out of their mouth (though some piggies are just plain messy eaters!)
Exaggerated chewing when eating
Eating slower than normal
A sudden preference for soft food over hard food
Not eating, but still showing an interest in food (later stages - get them to the vet immediately)
Mouth hanging open and a wet chin from dribbling (later stages - get them to the vet immediately)
----TREATMENT----
If you suspect teeth problems, take your guinea pig to an experienced vet asap. You should already know of a good vet to take them to in case of health problems and you should have money put aside for vet bills (If this sounds over the top - it isn't. It is an important part of being a responsible owner).
The vet will probably examine the incisors and feel along the jawline
They should attempt to look at the molars with a lighted scope or using buccal pad separators
They may suggest an xray
If they diagnose overgrown teeth they will arrange for the piggie to come in and have the teeth clipped or filed (planed) down. It depends on the vet, but it may be preferable to do this without using anaesthetic, particularly if treatment will be reoccurring
Read about the Chin Sling in the links below, this is an alternative treatment to encourage natural wear of the teeth, which has had some great results!
----PREVENTION----
There is no sure fire way to prevent malocclusion, but we can reduce the chances of it occurring and make sure that if our piggies teeth do overgrow we noticed it quickly and arrange treatment for them. Try adding the following into your guinea pig care routine:
WEIGH EVERY WEEK! Just in case I didn't stress this enough in the video :) Weighing is the number one thing we can do to catch health problems in our guinea pigs and it only takes a second. A gradual drop in weight means that something is likely to be wrong, get them checked out by an experienced vet. By weighing every week we can notice something is wrong before our guinea pigs become seriously ill, and we may well save their lives by doing so.
Feel along their jaw line as part of their weekly health check, if they cry out or flinch as if in pain, they may be developing tooth problems. Examine the incisors to check they don't look too long or aren't slanted (which might mean overgrowing molars).
HAY HAY AND MORE HAY! Usually problems with overgrowing teeth start with the molars. Hay and grass contains silicates that wear down the teeth as the piggies eat. Hay should make up 80% of a guinea pig's diet. Ensure they are eating enough hay by making it freely available 24/7 and by offering some different sorts to increase variety.
Don't rely on wooden chews - they don't wear down the molars and that is often where problems start. Wooden chews should not be thought of as replacing hay in terms of wearing down the teeth.
If you read all this information thank you! Comment "Piggie teeth!" if you did!

My piggie died two months ago because of this, by the time I didn't knew anything about it and didn't knew that a vet could kept his teeth down:( I still miss him everyday, please! check your piggies!!
Great video and take pride in your knowledge. Saying you are not medically trained in anyway is false. You have educated yourself in so many different ways to bring us this content and I thank you.
Thank you for making this video. I recently lost my Baozi to complications from malocclusion, so I think it's important to always be on the lookout for symptoms. I took her to the vet several times, but he didn't catch the problem until it was too late. I watched the entire video and encourage any other guinea pig owners to do so.
On an unrelated note, your piggies are so cute, omg. They look like little tribbles with legs.
Thank you so much for commenting and sharing your experiences - I'm so sorry for the loss of your piggie, rest in peace Baozi
Squeak Dreams Thank you. 💜 Tribbles are little furry creatures on star trek that make purring noises when petted. They look like little balls of fluff. I always wondered if they were based on guinea pigs, lol.
I recently rescued 3 piggies and when checked at vets, they said one of the teeth's roots are growing backwards but said no treatment needed as the pig was eating fine but after watching your video, it seems this must be genetic as she's only about 9 mths old, thanks for more information that I didn't know and I've had piggies on and of since 1998 and goes to show always something new to learn.
I am just seeing your post today and I am also so very sorry for your baby gp and you and that nobody responded.
GP people are usually right on things like this. I wouldn't have been able to help as I haven't experienced this sort of issue but I sure would have been able to support you
I ran into your post today while in search of info for info on gp teeth that is related to someone else's pig. Again, sorry, wish I read this sooner
I am big fan of all your videos since i got my 2 beautiful creatures in my life! Thank you for all your effort and clear explenatiobs🙏🙏🙏🍀🍀🍀🍀
Oh Sarah, this was a wonderful and informative video!!! Oh goodness Annie was the perfect model to show her pretty teeth!!! Loved seeing the piggies! Hugs from me and the girls!!! ❤️❤️❤️
+carislittlepiggies I agree with you Cari!!
Excellent and thoroughly informative video! It still shocks me how many people consider hay to be a treat rather then the most crucial part of rabbit and guinea pig diets!
This sort of thing is one of many reasons I take my Piggies to the vet for check-ups at least four times per year. After having lost three of them in the past 10 months (one to a URI, one to infection related to Bladder stones, and the third to a Heart attack) I am paying much more attention to the health of the three I still have.
very lovely video! i had my 8 year-old boar’s molars trimmed just a week ago. 💗 i can tell that the procedure has helped him out so much. he’s still adjusting to his new teeth, it seems. i’ll have him in for another checkup soon!!!!
Thank you I'm glad the video helped and your boys teeth have been trimmed. It can be a reoccurring problem so regular check ups are a great idea 😊
Great video thank you I just wanted to mention another sign that my guineapig showed as a symptom was not being able to clean her rear end properly she’s doing ok now vet cut teeth back but it is something you need to keep a close eye on as they lose weight so quickly ! Hope all your piggies are happy and safe they are amazing pets
Your videos are really helpful, I stated watching thembefore I got my guinea pigs in febuary and it helped me a lot. Thank you
Extremely helpful!!! Thank you so much!
I enjoyed it and I got to the end. As another youtuber said you have a very soothing voice so you could be talking about paint drying and I'd still listen lol. Very informative
Haha! Thank you! I am never usually complemented on my voice xD
Milo is 3 .5 years and was one when I got him and his brother who eats hay. At the start things got critical and the vet wasn’t sure he would survive his first teeth job due to anaesthetic and a 1200 down to 600 grams weight as I didn’t realise what was happening.
I had no experience at all at the start but am a very determined trial and error person and so the following.
Milo teeth have now been done 22 times so very expensive though my kind vet is now doing a special deal, bless them.
Milo’s feed has been 90% syringe of blended fruit and verge over the years and he will not eat the usual recovery food from the vet.
For 10 months now he has a little basil and parsley but his main feed is water blended selective naturals grain free made with Timothy hay pellets.
I make a liquid that’s not watery but not to thick and use a 15 mill syringe by supreme.
He has been a happy super pooper for some time and has his teeth done every 4 weeks now as any more is too long.
Charlie has liver disease but doing really well.
My vet and staff are amazing and I have been very determined but I offer full credit to my piggies for being so determined and such survivors.
I love them and my Yorkshire terrier Mollie.
I will do everything possible to keep them going strong.
The obvious threat to Milo is the anaesthetic but is a very safe one and the surgeons are highly experienced.
Lovely helpful video and I hope I have helped with my story.
Regards
Hayden x
I never thought of cutting up the hay and putting it in a bowl I guess that does work I've got some hey that's very Tough maybe I can do that with it thanks for sharing I love your show
that's a cute cage looks like u made it n there is so much beds n toys n everything love it
I'm new to guinea pigs. I got my girls in April. I really enjoy your info and find them helpful! I grew up raising rabbits, and a lot of the care between rabbits and guinea pigs is similar, but I also love to see your piggies in your videos. 🐹💕🐹💕🐹💕
Thank you Catherine! :D Congrats on the new piggies! :)
That was really helpful. I have a poorly piggy with a very sore eye but I think now also a tooth abscess
Best info vid I've seen on cavy teeth! 10 / 10
Piggie teeth! Hehe all your pigs are so cute. I always watch your videos from start to end. I love hearing old things and learning new! I find your voice very nice to listen to (is that weird?) so I like watching your longer videos lol.
Yay - you are the first to read it haha :) Glad you enjoy my videos and my voice lol! :)
That was an amazing video thank you so much for making it!!!
Great video. I'm so glad your back on.
Thanks! At least one video a week from now on (usually uploading at weekends) :)
About a month ago I noticed that my guinea pig stopped eating her pellets and hay, she would only eat vegetables and therefore her poops became quite mushy. I immediately took her to the vet ( I live in Lithuania and there are no exotic vet specialists here so I just took her to one of the clinics that is said to be the best in this field) and they decided she had some kind of bacteria, and prescribed antibiotics for a week. After 2 days nothing changed and she completely stopped eating, became lethargic. I went back to the vets and they changed the antibiotic, but after one day I decided to stop the antibiotic course because it was not helping her and she was even getting worse. The vets agreed. By that time she had already lost a lot of weight even though I was syringe feeding her a pellet mash (I could not find Critical Care here either). Then I noticed that my poor pig wants to eat when I bring vegetables to her sister, she squeaks for them, tries to grab a piece but she just cant. I immediately though that she had a problem with her molars and went back to the vet. He took a look at her front and back teeth and said that it looks fine and it should not stop her from eating and advised to give her some medicine to encourage her to eat. At that point I was sure that they knew absolutely nothing about guinea pigs so I decided to take her to another vet. She took one look at her and said she had malocclusion. Unfortunately she could not risk putting her through GA as she had lost too much weight. She gave me Critical Care and advised me to feed her at least one week to get her to regain some weight. Unfortunately at the end of the week she started having diarrhea (it was when I started mixing CC with pellet mush as i was running out of CC) so we were feeding her for another week ( I bought a lot of CC this time). Her teeth were filed this monday and i took her home yesterday. An Xray shows that she already has elongated roots and the angle that her molars are growing is very bad. Plus she has a wound in her mouth. So according to the vet there is not a lot of hope that she will be able to live for long. So I took her home and noticed that the wet trimmed her incisors too short, there is about 5 mm gap between her teeth therefore she is not able to grab anything. I tried to hive her tiny long piece of cucumber but she just can not chew it , i guess she is not yet used to her new teeth. The problem now is that I still have to syringe feed her. Does that mean that the molars are going to grow back soon? How long till she starts eating again? Maybe somebody had familiar experience? I am extremely busy as I work and study after work so I am already exhausted from running from work to home from home to classes and back and feeding her. it takes a lot of time, i spent at least 4 hours a day feeding her :/ I don't know how long this can last. I just hope she gets better.. I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. And sorry for my English, it is not my native language. And such a long comment!

I am just seeing this, a year after you posted. I am so sorry no one ever responded to you... if nothing else, it would have been nice for you to feel supported. I am so sorry for what you & your sweet GP were going through when you wrote this... how incredibly strong of both of you to bear so much. Good for you for trying so hard to figure out what was wrong & for being such an advocate for your little one, as well as working so hard to get her well. I pray that things worked out & your baby recovered fully. It breaks my heart to think of this & how helpless one feels in those circumstances. God bless you & your sweet Piggie.
It‘s been a long time since this comment was postet, I wish you had gotten more answers. Although you got that very nice reply later. May I ask how it turned out? Hope you are all fine now!
I'm sorry your going through this I am literally going through the same situation and it's agonizing seeing a pig have the want to eat but just can't. My girl Sasha has all the symptoms; drooling, food falling out, excess growth in incisors, pain, sitting constant upright position, losing weight, and recently, has unaligned teeth. I have been feeding her for two weeks syringe and am now infuriated that I gave these vets over $900 to say we don't know what's wrong with her when the answer is so obvious! I am behind in two classes and have anxiety because am not sure if she's going to make it... I really hope your piggy did, God bless
@@fruitrollup2790 Find another vet asap! It's been 7 months since your post but an update would be appreciated....hope it's okay.

Very helpful, thank you so much!
Good job. This is very helpful
Thank you for this video it was very informative!
I love all ur information my mom said if I pass a certain test I can get 2 guinea pigs so I am trying to stock up on information ( I made it to the end 😂 ) I think ALL ur videos are great thank you for all the information!!!
Chardonnay Cooper Good luck! Well done for watching it all I know it's a long one haha! :D
Squeak Dreams Hi,I'm sorta nervous about getting my guinea pigs because say if I weighed it and it was lighter than before , my dad or mum wouldn't take it to the vet ,they would probably just say that it's lost weight. ..could u talk me through ? Thanks xx
The colorful painted toys are not a hit w/ my fellers... The honey alfelpha (idk if i spelled that right) things disguised as toys & tunnels are. Which im glad for them, bc they can wear down their teeth on something other than actual hay. Fascinating stuff. I didnt know they had more teeth. 💡So, thats what theyre doing when they chew side to side the way they do. Theyre pushing the food towards the back to chew better. The front ones are so adorable tho. They remind me of human babies.
Glad you found the video interesting! :) Hay is the main thing that wears the teeth down due to the hard silicates in the dried grass :)
what type of piggie is your all white one? He/she is super cute! Thank you for this information!
This is great, thank you!
Good tips, thanks
This was so helpful. Thanks for posting! :)
The first sign that I was aware of that something was wrong with my guinea pig, was that he was attempting to drink from his water bottle really often, almost continually and unusually noisily. (He sleeps in my room so I can hear him). When I checked his teeth I saw that the bottom ones were way too long. When I took him to the vet, she had to treat him for dehydration as well as file down a molar that was leaning inward hindering his tongue. She also clipped his teeth.
If you don't mind me asking what was the cost of your visit? I suspect something's going on with my guinea pigs teeth and just need to be kind of prepared.
@@grandiosefrenchies3025 It was $120+ for the visit, antibiotic, & Oxbow Critical Care food, but when he went in for a re-check two weeks later, it was another $100, since his teeth needed filing down again. I was really worried because I can't afford to keep this up! He had lost a lot of weight and needed the Critical Care. He was also put on an antibiotic to prevent infection from all that filing. Doc wanted me to give him yogurt after antibiotic for his gut. She's an excellent vet and very familiar with small animals, btw. Now he's gaining weight and his teeth aren't growing so fast as he's chewing a lot more. I grate his carrot for him as well. I do still give him Critical Care food (it's powdered Timothy hay; add water) a few times a day. I suspect that he wasn't feeling well, was sleeping a lot more and not eating/chewing which started this. He is six years old.
I used a toenail clipper to clip his front teeth a bit just so he could drink and eat until the vet appointment. I had no idea that guinea pigs have another 20 molars back there that also grow!
@@jjchew4954 Your pig is quite elderly, you must do health checks a lot - a lot could be going wrong for him.
@@michelegalle8844 True. I feed him by hand Herbavore Critical Care a few times a day, weigh him often and keep an eye on his droppings to watch for changes. I very carefully clip his incisors with a toenail clipper between vet visits when necessary: (I wrap him like a baby and use cardboard to guard his tongue with holes for his teeth; it takes two of us), The tooth "remodeling" done by the vet ( who knows small or exotic animals well) costs a good bit, as do the follow-up antibiotics. Otherwise, he's still alive and doing well. He eats hay, pellets, mint, and other greens.Occasionally I grate some carrot for him. I take him many places with me so he's not alone all the time. For variety, he has a big bird cage on the back porch so he can be outdoors for an hour or two.
Thank you so much for this video! It was very very helpful :)

Very informative
Piggie teeth! This video was very informative, and I can tell you have done loads of research on piggy health, well done!! :) I also have a question...one of my two guinea pigs has been eating a little slower than my other guinea pig, and usually she would eat quite a lot faster than her (and then end up eating the other one's food!!). I have 3 sources of hay in their cage, which are all topped up daily. I have considered changing their hay, as the brand I use has got worse recently, but I haven't gone piggy-shopping in a while so I haven't had the chance to buy some more. I do check her teeth weekly (with their health checks) and I haven't noticed anything wrong with her incisors. She has also lost about 50g in a week. I know this isn't a lot, but I am unsure what is wrong, if anything at all! I would really appreciate your advice, thanks! :)
Thank you for your comment! Hmm it sounds like tooth problems could be a possibility. How old is she? Weigh her everyday and if it is definitely dropping every day get her to the vet. Problems usually start with the molars so the incisors might look normal. :)
Squeak Dreams She is just under 2 years old, and I will tell you soon what the results are of weighing her daily, thank you very much!! xx
Thanks for the advice, she hasn't lost or gained any weight recently, and she has sped up her eating to what it was before. So whatever it was, it's gone but I'll keep a close eye on both of them in the future! :) xx
YasminesCavies
Good news! Thanks for the update :) Keep weighing them weekly so you can spot any changes sooner than later too :)
Doctor's are unable to trim my Guinea pig molar I can't understand what to do please help
Plz plz tell me some home treatment for maloclusion i have detected it early in my piggie
very informative!!
Very helpful
Can you do a weekly health check
our guinea pig (butterball) is 2 years old where we live vet bills are expensive one vet said they had to do a exam and that was 55 dollars and then they would check the teeth
Hi! Wonderful video! Have you ever had a problem with your piggies teeth?
Touch wood not yet! But when I was younger one of my male piggies did go off his food a few times before he passed away, we took him to the vet who looked at his teeth and said he couldn't see them easily because he had a lot of food in his mouth. We never knew for certain what was wrong :(
I'm worried my piggie has this, i'm hoping to take her to the vet!
hi! I was just wondering is having two guinea pigs twice the money and effort. I would really appreciate it if you could answer! I love your videos. Thank you :-D
Well technically yes, but it doesn't feel that way as you will clean out the cage/feed them at the same time :) Having two guinea pigs is what you should do, they are social animals and do best when kept in the company of other piggies. Plus you get all the benefits of having more than one piggie - seeing how they interact and all their different behaviours :)
Thank you very much. What breed are your guinea pigs. They are so cute!!
Lovely video, thank you :)
Hi, I'm worried about my guinea pig. I took him to the vet they took Xray of his teeth they even try to open up his mouth to check it there was no sign of teeth problem nor roots. but still he can't eat he only pick on his food, or if I hold the food he will eat it and only the soft ones. any advice please I'm so worried:(
One of my sows has been to the vets for suspected mange mites, I've treated her for it and she hasn't itched since. The vet said she wasn't too concerned about her weight loss even though she is boney. She's nearly 4 so I'm thinking she's just losing her appetite for solid nuggets and carrots. She's eating plenty of hey and other fruit and veg. What do you think I should do?
KateThePlate Is she continuously losing weight? If her weight is going down and down, even if very slowly, it is a sign something is wrong - I'd go back to the vet (or a different one), ask about her teeth if you are worried and maybe encourage them to do an xray if it is not too risky. You can supplement her diet with Critical Care if she is losing weight.
Mam i have detected maloclusion in my guinea pig early so plz tell me some home treatment bcaz there are no vet in my area
Hello, thank you for the great video. We today just got two guinea pigs they are so cute. They are only babies what advice would you give for weighing them. We have called then Basil and Teddy ♡♡.
Hi Kerry, congratulations on the new pigs! :) I love love love the names! :) It's easiest to weigh squirmers in a scales with a bowl on top, but I wouldn't worry about weighing too much whilst they are settling in, unless you get concerned about their health.
Such an informative video :)
What do I do if my guinea pig froths at the mouth?
Mia. Take it to the vet immediately!
Filing down someone's teeth (which is a sensitive bone) while they're conscious sounds like torture. Why would a vet choose not to anaethetise during such a painful and traumatizing procedure? :S
Hey! Actually, there are no nerves in a guinea pig's teeth (well, not the part that gets trimmed anyway!). Rest assured, it is not painful. If your piggy is really really squirmy they might sedate them, but otherwise, it's not necessary :)
This. Like WTF? I have a male with maloclusion and he´s always sedated with gas when the vet fills down his teeth. He has survived it cca 20X so far. He wakes up immediately. The stress caused by grinding the teeth while the pig is conscius has to be far worse than the effects of gas anaesthetics.
There are no nerves in that part which grows constantly but it doesn´t mean the procedure is not stressful or even painful because of the pressure on the teeth.
@@Mouse_Metal Exactly. Estella Böhmer spent decades researching guinea pig dentistry and literally wrote the book on it, and her #1 warning is to never file teeth on a conscious pig. Not only is it extremely painful and stressful for the animal, but the microfractures caused by even a tiny amount of struggling leads to worse malocclusion in the long term. Guinea pigs literally have wire mouth gags holding their throat open while a giant cuts away inside their mouth with a hot, loud, rapidly-spinning machine, and people are seriously going to argue that all the veterinary science is wrong and that Fluffy is all fine and dandy being awake for that?
@@littlesaresare Exactly. Anyone who promotes grinding the teeth of a conscious piggy should have the dentist job for artificial teeth crowns done without anaesthetics. It´s so fu*king painful it can´t be done without them and it´s impossible to chew on grinded teeth before the fake crowns are glued on them. And the grinding also isn´t done to the nerves.
Even if it wasn´t painful for the piggy at all it is incredibly stressful anyway. Pigs don´t understand why they had some metal stuff put into their mouth to prevent them from closing it and why that loud thing is rotating in their mouth. They can dislocate their jaws if they struggle. They can die from stress, which actually almost happened to a pig who had his front teeth grinded while conscious. He was so stressed he lost consciousness.
Hey... My Guinea has kind of stopped eating pallets as she isn't able to break it although she tries to eat it.. she does eat all the other things like hay n veggies, Bell peppers etc... Earlier she was able to eat it, should I be worried?
If she eats dry hay, do you think that will help with the teeth issue she may be facing?
Picking up and dropping food is a sign of over growing teeth. Yes, please feed her unlimited fresh good quality hay (perhaps you can order some Timothy hay for her)? If you are worried please take her to a vet experienced with guinea pigs 😊
Some piggies are just messy eaters 😅😅😅😅 all three of my piggies

My Guinea pig has overgrown teeth. It's to the point he can't even drink water because the teeth is too long. I know he his going to die if I don't get treatment. I want to take him to get it trimmed but I don't know how much it will cost. I don't have much extra money to spend on him so if the trimming is $20 I can do it but if it's more I won't be able to. Also if it's a weekly thing with $20 I won't be able to afford it so I'm considering putting him down. I also noticed his eyes are dramatically sunkin in. Please help
I have a guniea pig and I think her teeth are a bit to long and im really worried because I noticed she was drooling and she lost a tooth and I don't know how but how can I get her teeth shorter without trimming or going to the vet
Sandra D'amico How old is she? If they are overgrown there is no way to help her other than the vet. Responsible owners should have money set aside for vet visits...
my guinea pig just started this his teeth are chipped he won't eat food or hay he has stuff on his chin I can't afford the vet I'm broke right now
Hi my Guinea pig had broke the teeth and he is not eating because of teeth sensitive what can I do for him to eat normally pls reply me
You must get food into him asap otherwise his digestive system will start shutting down. Order some 1 ml plastic syringes (without needle) and oxbow critical care, or emerald sustain, or any other available recovery food next day delivery (you can get on Amazon). In the meantime mush up pellets with warm water and feed him that off a spoon, blending up some veggies can also work, or just giving small pieces of veg that you put in his mouth for him. He may be able to chew with his back teeth but just not be able to pick things up, so offer hay and grass into his mouth too and see if he will eat. He needs to keep eating every few hours ❤️
Can guinea pigs cry cause ever since my piggie trudy died her cage mate honey has stayed in her hidey house has "cry" I'm talking her to the vet in 2 days so please get back to me
My guineapigs sometimes have snotty noses is that a problem plus they do live in a hutch outside
A runny nose could indicate a health problem, if you notice it a lot, especially alongside other symptoms, consider getting them checked out by a good vet.
when I got them they had snotty noses I dident think anything of it until my dog got it then I thought he got it from them so its gone for now as I gave them more vitamin c in there water and in there food and they have cleared for now
my guinea pig has something black on the top of its teeth, like a brownish thing between its teeth what can it be? i tried to take it out but it we t farther in between the teeth.
I realize I'm very late to this but if you're still wondering, it may have been food, or even poo (ew). Just like how humans get stuff built up or stuck between our teeth. Sometimes my pigs have green from veggies or brown . It shouldve gone away naturally by the hay pushing it out almost 'flossing' it. Or by plucking it out like you tried. Hope I brought closure to your question , if u were still wondering lol. And hope your problem was resolved when u needed it.
Hey
My Guinea Pig fell and one of her upper tooth broke half so what diet should I give her??
Make sure she can pick up food on her own - you may have to help her eat, see Skinnypigs1's latest videos about her piggie Velvet, if they can't pick up food properly they will need syringe feeding, which should be easy if they are otherwise healthy 😊
@@SqueakDreams aww thankuu❤️ sooo muchhh
I dunno much about them cuz my brother takes care of her but he not at home so I have to do all the stuff

Ok I love my pigs, and I had money $80 that got stolen from me for a dog I didn't want long story but I'm broke now and my guinea pig has crooked teeth and I didn't have time to watch this video all the way he doesn't chew on blocks or sticks so is there a way to fix this without a vet or do I need to make my mom pay for. Great video, it's unfortunate that you could simply buy a $5 wood chew and have $100 at the vets :(
Wood chews won't help the back molars, hay is needed for that :)
Oh whoops :(
Thanks for telling me though :D
I mean about how to stop it from growing :p
Also I SURVIVED TIL THE END
