The Gemini X is awesome. I love mine and bought a second for my kid. Popped a strap on soft seat on the rack so my other lil guy can ride along as well. Awesome bike especially for the price.

Hey, this is exactly what I was looking for. Can I add another person to the back? I saw that they have a basket set (3 baskets) and one looked like it had a small back rest on it. I was thinking of adding some kind of cushion to that and having my son (3 years old) ride with me. How did you set yours up? And do you think I'm able to ride in the back seat (I'm 140 pounds) and my hubby ride on the front seat (200 pounds)?

My free advice on e-bike choice:
Even if you never go off-road, you're going to beat the crap out of bike because of the speed and total weight. Therefore, do consider suspension, build quality and design, and tire/wheel durability.
Other considerations: ease of taking the battery on/off (battery theft is a big problem) and cargo toting: as always with bikes, lugging stuff can be a pain.

Great review. As someone who is right at their total capacity for weight, I've been searching for an ebike that i can take to work and back. Although this might not be 100% what I'm looking for (pedal assist is a must, trikes are a no), this is getting real close. This is what reviews are for and I appreciate the work you put in here for this.

How do these bikes deal with getting caught in a rain storm and how many times can you cycle the batteries with charging after each use?? It's a new company and they don't use Samsung batteries for the standard batteries (Arun) type. Arun states only good for 300 cycles and the warranty on this battery for this model is only 180 days..

Hey Micah, The scammer sent the same free ebike offer to several of your viewers. He’s asking for a gift card to pay for duty fees and asking people to communicate through telegram. I don’t think you would do that right? Anyway I told him no. A gift is a gift and there should be no charges to recipients. Definitely a scammer using your feed.

I know your comment is old but I ride mine 30 miles a day round trip commute. It pedals just fine. I just hit 1200 miles on mine with only a few minor issues. Rear tire is wearing out faster than the other, rear spokes need occasional tightening and the brakes can be noisy. Pedal assist 5 gives you about 35 mile range with two 10.4 amh batteries 70 miles on assist level 3 . That's with a 224lb rider and 10 lbs of cargo on Hilly terrain. It's a good buy when you catch it on sale. I've had it up to 45mph on a down hill run and your Pedaling like mad to keep up at 28 mph. I tried to install an 11/34 freewheel but the shifter doesn't have enough adjustment to clear the 34 tooth gear. 11 tooth high gear would of solved the Hampster Pedaling issue.
