Totally agree with you! I feel the ‘phone stand’ was a last minute decision that was just put in without much practicality! Never the less, Thank you Tiago (TC!!!)
With regards to the repetitiveness of builds nothing beats the globe from a couple of years back and even though the end result was great putting it together was so tedious 😅😂
I hope that Yugoslav kiosk will have enough votes in Ideas. It is red too, looks as if you put this telephone boot sideways. It is nostalgic for people from former Yugoslavia, but I think that most people would find it satisfying to build.
You're without a doubt the best Lego reviewer on RUclips by a country mile. Thank you for all your excellent reviews where you dispell the myth you can't give an opinion if you've had a set sent to you.
No tart cards in the phone box? I remember someone would clean all of them out but a few hours later the phone box would be filled with them again. I bet someone has already uploaded lego themed tart card sticker designs somewhere .
Very nice break down of the set, and the way you complete the review in so little time feels so neat and efficient. Are you ever planning on reviewing the lego cmf series, or are you more focused on sets?
I don’t know if I’m not the only one, but I don’t hate stickers. They’re easy to apply (most of the time) and people reprint stickers if they ever get damaged, whereas printed bricks you can never get reprinted. If stickers brings down the price or adds a few more pieces into the budget then I’m fine with it.
It's a really cool set but I completely agree with the "phone holder" part, although I don't think it detracts from the overall build. That said, it was definitely a last minute decision with how little thought seems to have been put into both accessibility and potential product damage due to the angle your cord would be resting. Part of me wonders if the idea is for your phone to rest sideways with the phone box removed, but that doesnt make sense given the poles/bollards seem to be there to hold your phone upright?
@@troodon1096 I know that there are liscensing issues, but that just makes them not choose cool lego sets like shreks swamp, and the thomas one,But wouldn't be cool for us to get a big duplo thomas set, using the new sound brick for voice lines?
Just for info, it's the K6 box that was all over the UK. This set is to commemorate the introduction of the K2 box in 1924, which was only installed in London. It was introduced 12 years earlier than the regular K6 which dates from 1936. They are also a different design, the K6 being smaller and with a different window design. But I agree, it's confusing, and Lego have not explained it very well in their literature.
I’ve never customised a Lego set before but would it be possible to make this phone booth blue? I want make it look like the tardis from doctor who but not sure how to get the pieces
Quality control seems nearly nonexistent these days. So many sets has mismatched colors, stickers that aren't cut correctly, or have really damaged glass pieces. Having the phone set in place gives a good scale of the sett. It feels like something is missing from the set for that price.
Lego Wolverine was probably freaked out after this video 😅 I'm usually not one to complain about stickers, but I think nope on this one. Lego puts out 4+ sets with a super high price tag, collectible minifigs and (drumroll) no stickers. I feel like this set is kinda cool, but printed bricks would have added to the build purposefully
Typewriter was worth it, for the price and size. But this set is overpriced. Still nice, but way too much. Hopefully, later on, Lego will make smaller versions of this, similar to the outhouse s.
It would have been funny but unsuitable for children if they included all the postcards advertising escorts that line the walls of actual phone booths in London
But police boxes weren't blue phone boxes - different design, different designer, different features. But a decent Tardis would be good if Lego could do the licensing for it.
Such a shame Lego has got this design really really wrong!! 😕 This is a K2 red telephone box and should have 6 rows down of 3 windows wide, this only has 5 rows down. For this reason I can’t buy it 😢 I have a real K2 red phone box and it just would not be a real replica, I’m so gutted !! 😭 😭
The LED bulb is way too dim. Unless you're in a dark room or look directly at the light, you barely notice it at all. With the room the light takes up, you could also fit a rechargable battery and much brighter LED. The bulb only exists, because they can make the product more expensive and advertise it better.
In that regard EVERY Lego set is a phone stance 😂it doesn’t get any more ridiculous - or wait, does it?!? 😮 Outrageous price btw. Defo NOT a „Good Deal“ 😂
I know I might get some backlash on this comment. But I dislike it when Lego designers put references of their family into the products they're making. I know it seems like a nice thing. but for me I want references that are actually relevant to what the set is about Not completely unrelated personal stuff about the designer's life. Also amazing video Tiago.
Great review but this set doesn't interest me at all. It just seems boring with no figs (Minifigs wouldn't work with this scale anyhow). The cell phone stand is just stupid, I see this on sale in the near future...

YOU NEED TO REVIEW THE animal crossing SETS please
Planning on reviewing the new X-Men X-Jet? Looks interesting
Totally agree with you! I feel the ‘phone stand’ was a last minute decision that was just put in without much practicality! Never the less, Thank you Tiago (TC!!!)
I don’t have a great space for this build but man it really captures a piece of London. The cobblestone and the fence feel perfect
This model would fit great on a bookshelf in between some books
With regards to the repetitiveness of builds nothing beats the globe from a couple of years back and even though the end result was great putting it together was so tedious 😅😂
Captain americas shield was the absolute worst build ever
Your videos are very greatly made
Thank you very much!
I really love your reviews. Short and to the point but with sufficient detail.
0:57 Woahhh that’s *bigger* than I thought
The lack of lighting in the lamp post is a huge miss. If both the booth and lamp lit up, that would look fantastic.
I don't think lego sells lights with they sets
@@NathanMiller-gi2ru the booth in this set is lit.
I agree parts of the actual phone box were repetitive but I did still enjoy the build. Looks great finished, I’m pleased I got it
For that price we can get much better phone stand, but still like your review 😊
I love its aesthetic
It's growing on me!

I´m a serious anglofphile that have all the other english themed sets so glad to see this being a great set :)
Initially I didn't think much of it, but it turned out to be quite good!
Even the serious anglophiles could use spell-check once in a while ;)

A... a what?
Seeing the new sets lego puts out is always cool
I bought this set for my birthday and I can't wait to build it soon
happy birthday

Awesome set
It should pair well with the London bus set
Love this set 👏🏼 Is there any way to keep the light on without needing to press the button down constantly??
It would be dead in just a few hours so I wouldn’t advise you to do it!
Im not target yet this looks very nice! I guess its one of those sets that looks best in room without any lego
For sure!
Very nice break down of the set, and the way you complete the review in so little time feels so neat and efficient. Are you ever planning on reviewing the lego cmf series, or are you more focused on sets?
Thanks, appreciate that! That’s how I try and do things around here. I’m mostly focused on LEGO set reviews but I do cover CMFs every now and then
I’d be interested to see it rebuilt in white for the K-Com white phone boxes exclusive to Hull.
I need a classic Royal Mail cylinder post box now
Would be great if a future Royal Mail postbox included build options to switch between CR, ER, and even GR.
I wonder if they kept that out because of possible issues with getting the Royal Mail branding in it

I'm gonna buy it next week!
i dont see the practicality of the phone stand when there's so much in the way of the screen, feels like a last minute add-on
You should review the Planetary System set!
What is the next review going to be? The bouquet of roses? The bonsai? The Friends rover?
considering the light brick and piece count, I would have expected a much higher price. Pleasantly surprised at the value!
It's a really cool set but I completely agree with the "phone holder" part, although I don't think it detracts from the overall build.

That would be a great idea! Just get rid of this red box, then you'll have a proper place for your phone. Buy it now for only 180 bucks!
Hi Tiago, when do we get a blue police box with a Doctor?
There was a Dr. Who set a few years ago.
Maybe it's meant to be used by the big minifigure that's on the shelf in the background.
amazing set there still afew left in London uk great review 👍
I kind of wish they included the Post Box like the original fan model had… unless the Royal Mail vetoed that.
And your telling me this beat tomas the tank engine!?
Licensing issue is my guess. Same reason the Ant-Man set had to have giant Lego bricks instead of the Thomas toy that was actually in the movie scene.
@@troodon1096 I know that there are liscensing issues, but that just makes them not choose cool lego sets like shreks swamp, and the thomas one,But wouldn't be cool for us to get a big duplo thomas set, using the new sound brick for voice lines?
This isn’t from Lego what I’m collecting, but I really like this set.
Dude Tiago is so awesome, he does the best reviews! Keep up the good work!
Can you do the New Lego Batman skyline set 🙏🏽
Its a nice set but being from the northern UK I hate the London focus as these boxes where all over the UK. Theres more to the UK than London.....
Just for info, it's the K6 box that was all over the UK. This set is to commemorate the introduction of the K2 box in 1924, which was only installed in London. How tall is the phone booth? I'm trying to work out if it will fit in my display case?
So if they can do this then where the HEK is the tardis
Or where are any other DW Sets for example.
Or any other DW Sets for example.
How does a Technic guy look inside it though ? :D

Sorry mate but thats not a sidewalk, its a pavement. Loved the vid as always!
My bad!
How tall is the phone booth?
Wonder how long before there is a Dr Who mod to turn it into a Tardis.
would of been better as a Dr Who Tardis (so a blue police box)
I would love to see your first impressions on the Animal Crossing sets.
At the third stroke the time will be a pass from me. Could have used a few red windows in my last build but dont need this many
This look great with a certain Full metal alchemist figure.
Flacid lamp pole is a deal breaker for me.
i like your review
Super 👍🏽

The police station and fire negate references are genius!
Just swap around the colors around and you've got a Tardis!
How is the sign attached to the fence?
Clips probably?
@@troodon1096yeah but I can’t think of what kind.
Now we need a POLICE PUBLIC CALL BOX
When I looked at this my mind went to the doctor who tardis. Just imagine
The window panels are too small relative to the frames... but okay. I like it otherwise.
Typewriter was worth it, for the price and size. But this set is overpriced. Still nice, but way too much. Hopefully, later on, Lego will make smaller versions of this, similar to the outhouse s.
I got the Lego at legoland
I have it
It would have been funny but unsuitable for children if they included all the postcards advertising escorts that line the walls of actual phone booths in London
Man lego is just too expensive for me to ever get back into it, £100 for this is just unjustifiable unless I was earning seriously more money
Im in the same exact situation bro
why does it feel like its 500 pieces
Way bigger than it looks!
Thr Masterd tardis!
Tbh can’t see this selling well outside of the UK 😂
I disagree. Tourist shops in London and probably elsewhere sell loads of phonebox souvenir stuff.
I live in united states and my den has a UK theme and this would be great there. I have been to England and Scotland and love it there.
Ring ring banana phone
Finally
Seems like a fun enough build but I don't get it
115 Euros a good deal? Are you out of your mind?
If they just made it blue and say Police box Sold
But police boxes weren't blue phone boxes - different design, different designer, different features. But a decent Tardis would be good if Lego could do the licensing for it.

Imagine if the fan designer gets divorced lol his date will be forever there
🏴
It's a neat set that I'll never buy at it's pointless except as a standalone display.
Hi
I just realized t.c. = tiago caterino

These references are for the fan designer's family. I feel like he has every right to include those because it's his idea that got made
It has to smell like piss or I’m not buying
Can't you fix that after you've bought one? 😅

The question is: why I have to buy this?
It's useless, not iconic, boring and english.
It's not English; it's British.
This is such a dumb idea
